*Contrary to popular belief, these don't help finding fresh-water-only/salt-water-only fish (such as Kissing Gourami, Sea Sludge or Sewer Trilobite). They will actually make it impossible to find these within their radius (which is big), unless you add a spawner for those fish too.

This list is still only for The Sims 3, but I will add the spawners from the expansions any time soon. Any help, suggestions or corrections are accepted.

I never knew there was a rainbow beetle.  Interesting, wonder where that one is found. :)

I have caught the rainbow butterfly there and the light beetle, but not a rainbow beetle.  Guess I need to look harder. :)

The rainbow beetle is dark green, with little yellow stripes. Very stealthy. Zooming in closer may help.

Great topic! I wish World Adventures spawners' descriptions were also here. Will it be available any time soon? I have no luck getting iridium from the spawner to get woohooium from transfiguration.
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

Can you not spawn Pink Diamonds?

Not from the base game's spawners. Well, maybe it is possible, but if the chance is really small, then I haven't included it (something near 1%-5%). I'll get started on the World Adventures spawners, and I'm pretty sure one of them spawns Pink Diamonds.

Hello Naga,

Just found this topic by hazard.

Pink Diamond is a base game gem, not World Adventure. It must be part of one of the spawners you listed in your first post (thanks a lit by the way, it's great for non CAW players). Maybe the Epic gem spawner?

Ok, I've just checked the Epic gem spawner in the CAW manual: it spawns Ruby, Tanzanite, Diamond & Pink.

For players who are interested, you can find the pdf user manual of CAW on the official forum. At the end, you'll have additional info about spawners (WA ones).
Edit: Ok, I can't get the link to the direct download. Here is the link to the general page for CAW. Scroll down a bit and you'll find a link to the manual. Maybe it'll work for you.

You're welcome Naga. And thanks to you, it's a great idea to have posted this list for players who don't use Caw.

I will update with numbers for the other towns soon. In the meantime, for those of you have played with CAW does anyone know about the 'missing' seed spawners? If you look at the list in the game objects in the world layer, You'll see that each spawner is numbered. When I totalled my tallies, I realised they didn't add up. So I checked that they were numbered correctly, and it turns out about 10 or 11 are missing! I'm wondering if this has to do with the collecting challenge, and how the games makes that work. If anyone has any knowledge or ideas about this, please let us know!! (It is the same for bugs - and I'm still working on the other spawners)

Edit: Ok, I have tabled all the different spawners in each world in Excel, noting that the spawners are the ones that are labelled as such in the World Data in CAW. If they've labelled any spawners something else, then they wouldn't be included, but I find it unlikely that they (EA) would do that. Anyhow, if someone knows a tool or macro for converting an excel file to bbcode I'll put it here; otherwise I'll send it to someone who can put it on here.

This list is wonderful and quite helpful.  I was wondering if anyone has investigated the new spawners for ITF?  After installing it I was browsing through buydebug and I noticed world event spawners.  Does this mean we can now trigger vents and meteors in other worlds?
