White lines in my sims hair?
« on: May 07, 2011, 12:59:06 PM »
Hi,

Lately my sims hair has been having white lines in it, not all the haircuts have them but most of them do for me. I've reinstalled the game and it's still there. The white lines are in some of the late night and ambitions hair cuts. Is anybody eles having this problem?

It may be a yet not loaded hair part. Are you sure it doesn't have to do anything with the hair color?

No, it happens in every hair colour. I've looked on the internet and other people have the same problem. :/

I don't know if what I have is the same thing, but I get white sort of lines in my sim's hair also. But it sort of looks like the reflection off of lights on the ceiling? It shows up in my screenshots as well but I see some other people who have sims with the same hair color as mine yet there is no white lines showing up in their screenshots.  :-\ Hmm..

Maybe try changing graphic settings?

Well I couldn't do that: My graphics settings are the highest they can be that my laptop handles.. but perhaps it would make a difference for Hannah. =)

I noticed that in one of my games the other day. It wasn't quite like the picture that you've posted, Fez (not in my game anyway) but looked more like a shiny version of grey hair. That was on the highest possible graphics settings.
However, I haven't seen it since that game, which I no longer play.

On my windows account it has the white lines, on my sister there is no white lines but it only has white lines on the modded hair which aggravates me. If you mods maybe copy them, delete them, then paste them back. I'm not sure it will work I just figured that since my sister has the exact same mods b/c I copied and paste them of my windows account.
