Is there only room for 8 in a house?

Hi all,

If I have 4 adults and 4 toddlers in a house is that the maximum number of sims that can be living in the house?

Unless you are running mods that allow you to overstuff, then yes--eight is the maximum number of Sims in a household.

I believe if you have the Pets expansion, you get a couple of slots for pets, but the maximum number of actual sims you can have is still 8.  I don't have Pets, but I think that's what I've read here on the forum.  Someone else will correct me if I'm wrong.

If you have pets you have room for "10".  No more than 8 sims and no more than 6 pets.  So 6 pets would leave room for 4 sims,  8 sims would leave room for 2 pets, or any variation of the two (if that makes sense). Otherwise you need a mod to get more than 8.

No cheats are available so your only option is eight sims or a mod.
