Perks of being a mascot?

My sim becomes a mascot after befriending an university mascot and ask for mascot training. I get two mascot costumes; gnome and llama. Both costumes enable you to do backflip, campus style (think about gangnam style), running man, and mascot moodlet (no effect for the mascot, but may give positive moodlet same as when you're near a mascot).

Is there any hidden skill or perk from being a mascot? Can I get that 'cool' walking animation like an university mascot does?

I don't know about any hidden skill. Basically they just practice their mascot cheers a bunch and gain jock level doing it.
