Metro, would this count as a photograph?

The caption was Celebrity Sighting.

I think it counts if the Sim in question is recognised. So for example 'A Top Chef' would count but 'Two of my Friends' or whichever wouldn't because the subject is two sims not the one you wanted. I think the Celebrity Sighting counts.

I'm soo close to getting my first immortal, again, Tris only needs his best friends now and his portrait but it's half done. All of his other specs are done completely.  :)

If that's your immortal candidate in the picture, yes it counts.

Hello everyone! Once again I read all the thread posts through (quite a bit, I must say), making notes. But still I have two more questions to clear.

1. Mummies. It was once ruled:-- but what if it's not quite the same? When you summon a mummy with canopic jars, you don't get a choice to keep it or release it. Mummy automatically becomes a playable member of current household. Of course, you can command it to move out right away -- but it's moving out, not releasing; is this allowed? I think we need a clarification.
This question is important, because mummies count for the "Monster Maker" LTW as well as Simbots, so sometimes its summoning makes perfect sense.
I myself prefer to have ability to create a mummy (and move it out immediately) in challenge, but Metro is to decide.

I'm okay with that so long as you kick it out right away.

2. Family funds. When players were to bring down their cash by purchasing some decor items and storing them in the family inventory, those with pets (horses) had advantage (basically, more cash). Now we use code "familyFunds 1800". So now 1800 simoleans is for all founders, with or without pets?

Correct. It's a lot simpler to not have to buy a bunch of stuff you'll never use. Lol.

I have a glitch (in all of my saves, not just my dynasty) where my Sims won't paint toddlers; they let me take a picture, turn to the canvas, and then don't paint. Someone on my thread about the glitch had the excellent idea of using "memorize scene" to take a picture of the toddler, then to use the "paint from memory" option on the canvas, but I wanted to get your permission on that, of course. I already tried different canvases, moving the canvas, etc.

Just want to make sure before I commit to the idea. We can sell/give up Horses in the Dynasty Household? The reason I ask is that if I was wishing to complete the Challenge where you adopt Mustangs then I would like to move those horses back out as I will only need one horse for the Sim?

@Upinde, have you closed the game and restarted it? I have had that glitch a few times and that's what I do to fix it. Hopefully it works for you.

Thanks!  :) Just making sure, I've got a spouse who I might want to try out the Riding Skill to see how easy it is to Supermax and whether I might like to do it for the third/fourth generation heir.  :)

Thanks, I'll try that!

EDIT: It worked! It's kind of funny that the fix was so simple. XD

That's always the first piece of advice:  Close and restart the game.  :)

Has anyone attempted supermaxing Riding in their Dynasty yet? I'm wondering about doing it just for a change from the usual skills. I won't be starting with just the average horse either though as the Generation Two Spouse is currently Level 9 Riding and has a Horse at Level 8 Racing and has completed the Cross Country Challenge. I'm hoping to breed that horse and time it right for when Generation Three is a teen so they can have that hopefully more advanced foal.

Side note, Unicorns are allowed in the Dynasty right? What I'm planning to try is to see if my Unicorn is hopefully a male (A Wild one) and breed it with the Mare I have now. Is there a way to tell a Horse/Unicorns Gender if you don't control them?

I don't remember what thread it was, but I think it was if the unicorn has a beard, it's male. I think someone said they found a female unicorn with the lion tale, but just look to see if the unicorn has a beard. Also, instead of specifically breeding to make a supercharged foal, do you know the unicorns have maxed Racing and Jumping skills?
