How to change a sim's body shape? (muscles, etc.)
« on: November 02, 2010, 06:31:55 PM »
How do I change the body of an existing sim? I mean muscles and such. I used the body shaping machine and it made my lil dude buffer but I wonder if I can buff him up more.

I don't think you'll be able to get the muscle tone that you can now do with the slider in Create A Sim.  The Body Sculptor and working out on the weight machine are the best ways to bulk up an existing Sim.  Just don't expect the extreme definition we see with the slider.

I'm moving this to the Miscellaneous Help thread because it's not specifically about Late Night.

You can make your Sim stronger by exercizing or using the Body Sculptor, but you can't change the Muscle Definition and the Breast Size; Those can only be changed in CAS.

That's really stupid! EA should think more about this feature. If new sims can be given buff muscles with some sliders they should be able to get them thru excercises as well. :/

To be fair, depending on your body type, some people really don't get six-packs etc, even if they do exercise.  But I'd think you'd at least be able to use the body sculptor to do it.

How to access CAS in an active game?
« Reply #5 on: November 03, 2010, 06:23:48 PM »
I want to play around with the new body sliders on some sims that I already have. Is there a way to access CAS to change this without restarting that family?

Any ideas on how to access CAS with a created sim? I'd really like to see my sim guy ripped :D
BTW Will working out make him buff? He's already maxed athletics and skills related to it. I've also got the body shape changer machine and I've made the little dude as buff as the machine can make him :D

Working out will make him buff, buff as in muscly, not in tone.

As for cas... I can't recall if it's accessible when enabling debug interactions. Otherwise, your only hope is modding. Do keep in mind that modifying traits and the muscle & thinness sliders on CAS of an already existing sim will crash/bork the game (or get resetted after returning to the game, can't recall which), so there's a very high chance that fiddling with tone/implants will do the same.

If I may,

I was playing around with The Sims 3: Late Night and found a Muscle and Chest Slider. And I also saw reviews on the game and they said the exact same thing so....

But that's the only place I've seen it.

Gamergul14122, the Muscle and Chest sliders are only available in CAS and not available to already created sims.
