3.17: A Chivalrous Champion

Week 7/Thursday

Benicio: Is that you, Watcher? I didn't expect a visit from you today. What's the occasion?
It's a bit of a long story, Benicio, which I've come to share with you.
Benicio: What's with that getup? Sheesh, where are my manners! We're having a bad day...

Welcome to my home, Watcher. May I get you anything to drink?

Benicio: Too bad you couldn't have arrived earlier!
The girls have already blown out their birthday candles and aged up!
Thanks to Chacha and Dango, I'm practically a Super Parent now!

Our new heir Edamame moved in Jaxton Faust to live with us.
Our cadet Dango invited Jaxton's twin Elektro over for a visit as well.
The two couples went off to get to know each other.

Meanwhile, I was helping my parents, Alejandro, and Chacha clean out their personal inventories.
We'd decided that all four of them would move out this afternoon.
My parents were so looking forward to living the easy life in Chateau Frise.

Just as my parents and Alejandro were ready to move out, everything fell apart!
Alejandro and I suddenly aged up to adults while Papa raised an arm to signal his end.

In the garden, my wife Mariko aged up to an elder.
And more tragedy struck in front of the house.
The curtain fell on the life of my wonderful mother, Sherilee Sharebear.
So, yeah, Watcher, it's been hectic around here today.

Rest in peace, Sherilee and Jose Alejandro Sharebear.
How fitting that the two of you chose to depart at the same time.

Benicio (looks around): Has anyone seen Chacha?
She needs to get packed so I can help with her move before my work shift starts.
Do you mind, Benicio, if we sit down and chat a bit?
I mean, normally, I wouldn't just show up at your house like this, right?

Benicio: Of course, please tell me what's going on! And what's with your outfit?
Well, it all started about six hours ago with an unexpected phone call from P…

P: Good afternoon, fellow Councillors. Sorry for the emergency call.
O, I arrived at your simverse an hour ago. I have a bad feeling about your world, girl.
Would you and F teleport to where I am? Like, drop everything and port over now?

F: Huh? What's with these clothes?  Why didn't you mention you were on a plane, P!
O: Why are we dressed like flight attendants?
P: Can we discuss all that an hour from now?
Apparently, we need to serve lunch to the first-class passengers in 15 minutes.

O: So you were about to explain why you're snooping around in my simverse?
P: Sssshhh, we are supposed to be incognito.
O: Oh puhleeze! I'm wearing a scarf tied around my neck like a bib.
F: That's true. My friends and family would never recognize me in these threads!

P: Sheesh, could you two have made a little more effort to look inconspicuous?
F: But, darling, that'd be like asking the sun not to shine!
O: Whatever! Why are we sneaking around in my simverse?
P: I need you two to confirm something. Let's walk through first class to coach.

P: Now, look very nonchalantly to your left. Hey, not so fast!
Check out that passenger in the window seat, reading. What do you see?
O: Wow, he looks just like you, P, except that he's totally slumming in coach!

F (excitedly): So what do you think, P? Is he your doppelganger, an evil twin, your alter ego?
O (squees): This is all so exciting!!!

F: I didn't know you had a pilot's license, P!
P: Um, I don't. But you two were talking so loud I had to whisk us away to the cockpit.
O: Good move. This cockpit seems soundproofed.
F: So what shall we do about P's evil twin, O? This is your simverse.
O: I say we follow him until we figure out his devious plans!

O: Ugh, I thought that flight would never end!
F: You and me both! *switches back to her flight attendant uniform

P: Wow, I never imagined a version of me would exist in O's simverse.
F: Duh, parallel realities!
P: Well, of course, we three know it happens with the Sharebears, but we are the Watchers!

O: Hey, don't you think we're following him too closely?

P: My dude sure has a lot of luggage. What do you think he's up to?
O: Looks like he's moving, rather than simply sightseeing.

F: He keeps looking around as if he's being watched, you know?
P: Well, he's right about that. We keep tailing him, yes? *hails a cab

F: It sure looks to me like he's planning to move into that hobbit hutch.
P: Well, gee! If he can afford to stay in a place like that, why doesn't he fly first-class?!

O: We almost lost his trail coming over here, thanks to that slowpoke cabbie!
I think it's time we confront your evil twin and make him explain what's going on.
P: Fine, I'll handle this. *strides forward

P: Hey, you there, mundane mini-me! What the heck are you up to here?
Perry: It's you! You're the same people from the plane and airport! Why are you stalking me?
P: Because we need answers!

Perry: Sorry, folks. I don't have time to chat. I have an important meeting.
I absolutely cannot be late, so ciaozinho, abayo, leegi leegi, and such! *dashes off

F: You have got to be kidding, P. A stakeout behind a public restroom in Cavalier Cove?
And are we supposed to still be undercover?
O: I know, right? That Perry dude's already seen us, P! What's the point in hiding?
Although you gotta admit, F…you're looking fiiiiine in that coffee T-shirt and floppy hat!

P: Pipe down, you two, or he'll notice us! Look someone's approaching him!
F: Thank heavens! The stench behind this public restroom is unbearable!
O: Seriously! And what if the smell sticks to our clothes?
P: For goodness' sake, just change your outfits later, ladies! Now hush!

Perry: After I got your text message, I flew here as soon as I could.
I had some business to take care of first, Chacha. I hope you're not angry that I took so long to get here!
F (whispers to O): They've been texting?!
P: Ssshhhhh! I can't hear them talking!

Chacha: I worked so hard to max the Barista career and earn Emotional Control.
Then what do you think happens, Perry?
Edamame gets to have 10 babies and Dango, one baby, but me? I get kicked to the curb!

Perry (sympathetically): I knew that would happen, Chacha.
And that's why I've gone ahead and bought a storybook house in Willow Creek!

Chacha (brightens): A storybook house?
Perry: Yes, dear Chacha. A huge, fantastic, storybook house for hobbits in Willow Creek.
If you'd rather not live with your mother and uncle, you could live there.
Chacha: All alone? But I've never lived by myself before.
Perry: No, of course not. I'll be your roomie! It is a very spacious home.
Here, take a look at these photos.

Chacha: It's right on the water! Oh, Perry, it's so lovely!
Perry: Of course, it is. None of that absurd heir/cadet business for you, Chacha!
Consider yourself lucky you won't be stuck raising 11 babies like your sisters!
You deserve to live like a princess! A queen!
Chacha: You're right, Perry! I'm not destined for the life of a legacy laborer!

O: You there, what do you think you're doing? Sowing seeds of mutiny among my Sharebears?
Perry: Oh no, ma'am, nothing of the sort. My name's Perry Green.
You see, I'm president of Chacha's fan club.
Chacha: After the heir vote was announced, I knew I'd be told to live with Mama.
That's when I contacted Perry, who promised to figure out a better solution.

F: Um, P, you really didn't have anything to do with this?
P: Scout's honor! Although I can totally understand where Perry is coming from.
Poor lovely Chacha! Her sisters can't hold a candle to her!

O: So what exactly is this "better solution," Perry? You bought that huge crib in Willow Creek?
Perry: I sure did! If Chacha moves in, we'll hire a butler and she can live a life of leisure!
Chacha: May I please live in the storybook house in Willow Creek, Watcher? Pretty please?

O: You have my blessing, Chacha. Your happiness really matters to me!
P: Well, mundane mini-me, we're counting on you to look after our princess!
F: Exactly! She was a teen just hours ago, so no inappropriate behavior, you hear?
Perry (waves hand dismissively): Oh, perish the thought!

P: My mundane mini-me apparently worships the ground Chacha walks on. Our work is done here! *poofs
F: Agreed. *poofs
O: I need to go share the news with Chacha's father. *poofs

And here we are, all caught up to the present. Anyway, no need to go looking for Chacha, Benicio.
She lives in Willow Creek now.

Edamame: Papa, Jaxton proposed! We're married now and I'm eating for two!
Benicio: That's wonderful news! Please sit and introduce yourself to our watcher, Eda.
Eda: Sorry, but Jaxton and I both have appointments at the adoption agency NOW!
We're each adopting one child! *rushes off
Looks like the 10-children madness is about to begin!

Dango: Papa, Papa! I proposed to Elektro and we eloped! Um, we're also expecting!
Congrats, Dango!
Dango: Watcher, I know it's inconvenient for me to have a child this generation.
But thank you for letting me to work toward my Super Parent aspiration.
You won't regret the decision!

Benicio: Hey Watcher, that Perry Green really championed Chacha's candidacy for her.
I'm so glad my girl Chacha will be well taken care of!
Yeah, me too!
Benicio: By the way, is Perry aware that you installed MC Command Center two days ago?
Wut? *adjusts halo then whistles innocently
Benicio: Whatever! My Chacha is too lovely to lead a spinster's life!

Meanwhile, in Willow Creek…
Perry: Ouch, ouch! Chacha, I think your toenail clippers are broken!
I've been trying for the past half hour and they don't work at all! Grrrr…
Chacha: Huh? I don't own any toenail clippers. I forgot mine at home when I moved here!
Perry: Oh.

Woohoo! The return of the council! As super-stealthy super-sleuths! I love it! And I am so getting me a t-shirt just like the fabulous F's. And maybe a floppy hat. She looks divine!
This chapter was amazing. And dear Chacha gets to ride off into the sunset to live with Perry Green and his perfectly innocent intentions.  *wipes tear* Such a delightfully happy ending. :D I'm very curious to see how MC Command center handles things going forward.
I'm so sorry to bid farewell to Madam Founder and the inimitable Jose, but very excited for the maelstrom of babies to commence. Congrats to both happy couples! Hooray hooray hooray!

Wow, that Perry Green sure was a handsome fella!
Lovely, creative stuff in this update!  Hmmm, can't help but wonder if the Chacha and Perry (with MC Command Center) will result in anything interesting happening?  Well, wait and see I suppose.
Good luck with the 10 kid generation!

I'm glad you enjoyed the craziness of this update. It was all over the place! I knew the days of Sherilee and Jose were numbered, but their passing shocked me all the same.

@FrancescaFiori
Thank you for your kind words. Chacha is such a  pretty sim and I really didn't want her to simply move out with no future.
Haha, I thought The Council made very convincing flight attendants. And yes, the coffee t-shirt is so F.
MCCC has so many settings and commands! I spent three days playing around with a test file before I dared boot my Sharebears file.
Only two days have passed in-game so all my incorrect settings have yet to manifest themselves.
If all works as it should, I will become incurably spoiled and will never want to pollinate again, lol.
I'd been stressed about having to move out Sherilee and Jose, thinking I should instead postpone the 10-children thing until Gen4.
They accomplished a lot, they each had one Potion of Youth, they had good lives. I will miss them.
But their deaths made the decision for me, so Edamame and the dashing Jaxton are off and running!

Wow, that Perry Green sure was a handsome fella!

@PeregrineTook
Lol, nobody thought the sim's name was cute. Perry Green = Peregrine.
You know, I was very tempted to tilt the scales in Chacha/Perry's favor by giving Chacha the Green surname and making them married.
But I decided to simply hope that their compatible traits and roomie status will save the day.
I've set my game to "Pregancy only allowed between married sims." I've also flagged Perry as "No Affairs" so he won't look elsewhere, haha.
My only regret is that I didn't take the time to make them friends before Chacha moved out--I was feeling frantically pressured to have Edamame get pregnant then adopt before her father left for work.
Now it's just a waiting game. I'm dying of curiosity as well!

Sharebears 3.19: Earth to Elektro
« Reply #155 on: April 28, 2018, 12:34:47 AM »

3.19: Earth to Elektro

We wind the clock back to earlier the same day, revisiting the events leading up to the marriages of Edamame and Dango.
We also witness Benicio's activities prior to the watcher's visit.

Week 7/Thursday

Edamame: I don't regret at all choosing Jaxton over Elektro.
Sure, Elektro's a geeky music-loving art-lover, while Jaxton is a squeamish, lazy loner.
But Jaxton burns with an inner passion, which he reveals only to me!

Go on! I dare you to tell me that Jaxton isn't crazy about me!

How exciting to be eating for two!
I walk right back into the bedroom for my confetti shower, just for Jaxton!

Jaxton is thrilled to hear the "Big News."
In fact, he proposes to me soon after and, natch, I accept.
We decide to elope immediately for the sake of the adoptions to come.

Dango: Alas, my path to wedded bliss was a rocky one! And here I thought Jaxton was the "loser twin."
You see, Elektro turns out to be an ambulance chaser.
Because of my parents passing away, Elektro keeps leaving me to go "witness death."
When I call him back, he returns too depressed to appreciate my flirting.
But I finally coax him into a receptive mood.
(By the way, please note briefly the view out of my bedroom window.)

Elektro agrees to be my boyfriend and seems genuinely thrilled over my Big News.
Pushing my luck, I propose but he rejects me, pushing away the engagement ring I offer him.
I blame Elektro's rejection entirely on my father!

Soon after my parents' deaths, Papa invites over a woman I'd never seen before.
They're making quite a ruckus in the rocketship right outside my bedroom.

Just as I'm about to propose to Elektro, we learn Papa's "friend" is dying in mid-flight, .
Then she dies and gets reaped right outside my bedroom.
Of course, Elektro is chomping at the bit to go look, but I've locked the doors.

Earth to Elektro. Do you read me?
No wonder he got distracted! I mean, it must be all Papa's fault, right?

When I at last get Elektro's attention, I socialize with him until we're BFFs.
After all that, he accepts my (second) proposal without a hitch.
We elope right away. I feel the need to put a ring on it without dilly-dallying.

Benicio: It's great to finally meet you, Grim!
Grim: How have we not met before, Benicio?
Benicio: I prefer to stay in the shadows and pull the strings. *shrugs

Grim: So, how many deaths is that so far?
Benicio: My parents died of old age earlier today, so this death by over-exertion makes our 9th death.

Jaxton: Meanwhile, Edamame and I are off to the adoption agency!
If we weren't in such a hurry to adopt, I'd have thrown a big wedding for Edamame.

Benicio: Are you sure you can't stay longer, Watcher? I guess I won't be seeing you again.

Jaxton: Papa Benicio's looking after our nooboos today.
He wants to max Parenting to complete the Super Parent aspiration.
As you know, all the Sharebear children are named alphabetically.
However, we're using a numerical scheme for our adopted children.

On your left (yellow) is our daughter, Uma.
On your right (green) is our son, Twain.

Benicio: I'm not sure about my son-in-law.
When I leave for work this afternoon, he flashes the most inappropriate thought bubble at me.
Highly inappropriate!!!
I don't want to discuss our relationship any further…

Edamame: I'd been waiting to work on the Public Enemy aspiration with Jaxton.
But I learn today that I can't start fights because I'm pregnant! Bah!
Instead, I work on my archaeology, charisma, and cooking skills.

My Jaxton is such a trooper! Look at all his negative moodlets!
Very Uncomfortable, Nauseous, Dazed (from fighting), Stranger Danger, and Awkward Socialization.
But he pushes forward, nevertheless, with his Public Enemy aspiration.

On the first day, he gets 4 sims to dislike him, gets into five fights, and declares two enemies.
Excellent work for a squeamish loner, eh?

Edamame: I relocate our angry room and lock one of Jaxton's "guests" inside.
But Jaxton and I are way too blissed out today to risk getting too emotional.
Maybe if we can leave her there long enough, she'll starve?

Benicio: Why do you even bother, Edamame?
Jaxton needs to witness a death later on for Public Enemy, anyway.
You might as well wait and try for the 10th death then.

Jaxton (whispers): Sez her father who achieved a death by overexertion this morning.... pffft!

Tonight, Papa earns his Level 10 promotion for Interstellar Smuggler. Yay!
Thanks for finishing this astronaut branch, Papa!
Space Ranger has a much family-friendlier work schedule.

Friday

Edamame: Uma and Twain age up this afternoon.
An aspiring Super Parent, Dango has been helping out with the kids. too.
Jaxton and I go to work for the first time today, so we're grateful for their help.

Uma: It's a good thing we both reached Potty 2 already, Twain!
Twain: Why?
Uma: Grandpa's trying to max Parenting. Once he does, I bet he neglects us!
Twain: But we still have Auntie Dango!

Saturday

Dango: Papa, do you want to feel your grandchild kicking?
Benicio: Yes! You know, I'll earn the Patriarch trait as soon as you and Edamame give birth!

Dango: Does that mean you'll be moving out right afterward?
Benicio: Nah, Edamame can't adopt until your nooboos age up to toddlers.
I'll stick around until then to help the two of you with skilling.
After I move out, though, be sure to keep me in the Sharebears club!

Dango: I go into labor first. It's a boy!
I name him Daikon after one of our watcher's favorite vegetables.
Just remember: the boy with the "D name" is Dango's kid!

Edamame: My labor starts about an hour after Dango's.
Since I'm the heir, I give my daughter a name starting with F.
Fugu, which is the Japanese name for pufferfish.
Here's a polychrome woodblock print from the 1840s by Hiroshige, showing a fugu at the lower right.

Edamame: I've only been the heir for two days and so much has happened!
Jaxton is a Level 2 Criminal and I'm a Level 5 Criminal.
Dango has decided to become a stay-at-home caregiver.
Papa earned the Patriarch trait this afternoon.
Once he's gone into Full Parent Mode, he'll earn the Role Model trait, too.

And we are 30% done with the "10-children in one generation" goal.
Of course, we can't move out any "not-heir-candidate" children until they're teens.
Wish us luck!

From left to right: Uma, Twain, Daikon, and Fugu

Legacy Score: 63 (+1 point)

Fortune (+1)/Net worth = $830,000 or more

I am still sobbing for Sheirlee and Jose. So sad to see them go. But you made that update so funny with all your other stuff anyway.

I thought you wanted to wait untill the rest of us caught up to you before you played further? Or did all the strategies we talked about with 10 children get you to excited :P
I will for sure remember your trick with adopting 2 at the exact same time

Interesting way of doing the 10 kids in a single generation point. I was actually going to suggest making an heir a vampire, along with their spouse, then curing them once the 10th had been born. Also gives a good chance of completing all the vampire aspirations while you're at it. Good luck to Edamame and Dango, they have their work cut out for them! At least they chose the right guys.

I'm just getting caught up so I haven't commented on the Perry Green episode yet.  I'm so glad ChaCha got her fairytale.  Don't let us down MCCC!  We want to see red-headed cousins wandering about town.

I like Edamame's choice of Jaxton.  He suits her better, and she's helping future generations by taking a primary spouse with those traits.  And besides, Elektro seems easily distracted whereas Jaxton didn't have a problem powering through his negative moodlets.

Nice strategy with using adoption to get to the 10 children in one generation.  It narrows down the choices for potential heirs, but still completes the requirement.  Perfect!

@Shewolf13
He's an ambulance chaser in the modern sense of legal slang, but he's always wanting to go witness death. He was so annoying, haha!

I am still sobbing for Sheirlee and Jose. So sad to see them go. But you made that update so funny with all your other stuff anyway.

I thought you wanted to wait untill the rest of us caught up to you before you played further? Or did all the strategies we talked about with 10 children get you to excited :P

@LenaLJ
The first generation is especially hard to lose, isn't it? Thank you for missing Sherilee and Jose. I just didn't want to let them go.

I didn't play my Sharebears for around 10 days and have recently accepted that we should all play our Sharebear Legacies at our own pace.
Playing often is okay, playing rarely is okay. Everyone has their own lives, hobbies, and priorities. So, yeah, I'm just going to play my legacy when I feel like it, no waiting. :D
The double adoption only works sometimes, but it's handy.

@dontmindme
I used this same approach in my Mori Legacy two years ago on Normal Lifespan.
The biggest difference is having a cadet and her child in the house is slowing us down, lol. I have a vampire cutie on hold for my "vampire generation" already.
I want one generation to be all about vampires (I like to have "themes," lol). The 10 children is enough of a pain without worrying about Thirst. :D
Now that you've started your legacy, I'm hoping you'll try the approach you've just described. That would be awesome to read about!

I'm just getting caught up so I haven't commented on the Perry Green episode yet.  I'm so glad ChaCha got her fairytale.  Don't let us down MCCC!  We want to see red-headed cousins wandering about town.

@BallerinaHippo
I agree with you about wanting to see Chacha's redheads around town.
Since installing MCCC, my simverse has been exploding with numerous random couplings. I have intervened to manually marry Chacha/Perry and set Perry to "No affairs." LOL
I'm so glad that you like Edamame's Jaxton--FrancescaFiori has shared a really fantastic sim with us. He hasn't dropped a single queue so far.
As for potential heirs, I'm hoping to end up with three naturally-born sons, or maybe just two because moving out one is too sad...

No!!!  The first founder death!!!!  I'm gonna make mine live forever, I don't care what the rules say!  :)
@simfulicious
I would love to see the Sharebear founder enjoying immortal life in your legacy. That would make me really happy, in fact.

Sharebears 3.20: Notice Me, Perry Senpai!
« Reply #162 on: April 29, 2018, 01:55:02 AM »

3.20: Notice Me, Perry Senpai!

Week 7/Saturday

Jax: Dylan Delgado is a hotheaded acquaintance of Edamame who she could never lure to the house.
After running across him online, I spam him with chain mail until he despises me.
Since I'll need one more declared enemy eventually, I decide he can do the honors.

There, he's my third declared enemy. Now he just needs that one last push!

Jax: Hey, Dango, can you help a brother out?
Dango: Well, okay, but why me?
Jax: Dylan despises Eda and me, but you're compassionate!
If you offer him a Red Hot Serum, I'm sure he'll accept it.

Dango: Dylan, you seem to be very upset. Maybe this serum will help you calm down?

Jax: I read somewhere that hotheaded sims hate being targeted by Mischief interactions.
So, of course, that's exactly what I do. Then, suddenly, he stops yelling at me.

Grim: I know you're glad to have achieved a death by cardiac arrest.
But, sheesh, Jax! Don't you think clicking your heels is a bit excessive!
Jax: Can't help it, Grim. I couldn't stand this guy! (Happy +3)

Grim: Oh, I see you finally earned the coveted Patriarch trait, Benicio!
Gratz on your legacy's tenth death type! That Jaxton is a quick study!
I hear Edamame tried for days for a death by cardiac arrest, but Jax only needed a few hours.
Edamame: ...

Edamame: I already have this career outfit and can't wait to see Jax in his!
After my next promotion, I'm choosing the Boss branch because I think it's the harder career.
The Oracle career has more shifts per week, which will make promotions easier for my Jax.

Week 8/Sunday

Edamame: Our watcher's done this 10-children thing before without a nanny or butler on Normal lifespan.
So, we should be fine, right?

By the way, our nanny's such a slacker. I'm constantly turning off the TV so she'll look after the kids instead.
And I'm trying to figure out how to switch her out for a younger, attractive male nanny (like the one simfulicious got).

Benicio: I keep parenting little Uma until she's ravenous and ready to wet herself, but I finally do it!
See the little sparkles around me? I go into Full Parent Mode and earn the Role Model trait!

Edamame: It's the Flea Market today! Jax, we should invite along Chacha and her new roomie!
Jax: Why don't we stop by their place to introduce ourselves?

Benicio: Wow, why can't we live in a home like this?
Dango: Ssshhh, building is not Watchette's forte, okay?
Note: This is "Bilbo's Hobbit Village" by findjoo.

Edamame: It's great to finally meet you, Perry!
Perry: The feeling's mutual.
Edamame: Oh, you're a good, family-oriented geek! *talks up her sister Chacha to Perry
Perry (looks skeptical): I don't know. She doesn't sound that interesting.

Benicio: Are you kidding me? Does he know how many mountains were moved to place him in our simverse?
Edamame: Watcher, if Perry has babies with another sim, would you please delete him?

Edamame: We receive word that Daikon and Fugu are ready to age up, so we make a quick detour.
Dango: Awww, that's my boy, angelic Daikon! He's got my green eyes!
Edamame: And that's my girl, fussy Fugu. Erm, with Jaxton's brown eyes. Still adorable!

Fugu (in the pufferfish dress): How can you be sad about witnessing a death? You were indoors!
Papa says some guy had a heart attack in our front yard.
Uma: I know, right? Somehow, Twain and I witnessed it through the wall of our bedroom!

Edamame: Jax and I buy up every snow globe that Caleb has for sale.
We're shocked to realize he was offering a complete collection!
Thanks, Caleb! That's our 13th!

Edamame: When Daikon and Fugu aged up, Papa moved to Chateau Frise to make room for an adoption.
He even quit his Interstellar Smuggler job, saying he wanted to help me with our kids.
I can't believe he actually beat us over to the Flea Market!

Dango: I run into Elektro at the Flea Market and invite him home with me.
I enjoy his company so much more, now that I'm not rushing to get pregnant and nobody's dying outside my window.

Edamame: I don't understand Perry and Chacha at all.
We invite them back home with us, but they've been standing there like that for the past hour.

Hello? What about you try talking to each other?
Oh well, I'm off to an appointment at the adoption agency!

Edamame: Meet Trei! He's is our third adopted child and our fourth child.
Dango's son Daikon doesn't count toward the 10 children, because he's not my child.

I'm regretting not having tested Super Parent before I had Dango get pregnant.
She completed "Discipline your toddler, child, or teen 5 times" with one of Edamame's toddlers!

Jax: I check on Perry and Chacha. At least, they've both changed positions during the past hour.
But then, I check on them again a half hour later and they're back to where they were.
Chacha is a creative, vegetarian glutton. Perry is a good, family-oriented geek.
Are they not a match made in Heaven? What's wrong?

Daikon: When I grow up, I'm gonna go live with Papa!
Elektro: *autonomously hugs his son Daikon

Edamame: I prepare something to eat and call everyone to the dining table.
They are interacting, at last!

Dango and I continue to huddle around our Patriarch for skilling.
I've reached Archaeology 9 which means, I hope, that the Relics Association will acknowledge me.

By the way, negotiating a bonus went terribly today! Maybe it's too much of a risk?

Monday

Now that I'm no longer pregnant, I can engage in those five fights for Public Enemy.
Once Jax reaches Criminal 4, we'll both be at Tier IV of this aspiration.
You know the old conventional wisdom!
A couple who witnesses a death together stays together!

I'd removed Elektro from our legacy club several hours ago because he'd been here since last night.
I'm surprised to discover Elektro and Daikon autonomously doing flash cards.

Trei ages up to an inquisitive toddler later that evening.
Here's our whole crew of toddlers now!
Again, Uma, Twain, and Trei are adopted; Daikon is Dango's son; and Fugu's my girl.

Legacy Score: 65 (+2 points)
Nature (+2): 13/13 collections and 10/10 death types

Chapter Remarks
The ten-children thingy is going too slowly with both Dango and her son in the house.
I will probably be moving Dango out early, but Daikon needs to stay until he's a teen.
