Lucky that they got a boy in the end so that you didnt have to make another heir poll.

Did Edamame die of the flower or of the heat? It was a bit unclear to me, she will be missed though. You are so far along in this.

My vote has been for Kirsten. She is outright just stunning. Liv will make a good spare, I am sure of that.

Whooo, I was so far behind!  Edamame, we'll miss you.  "Not like we can reshoot this."  Hilarious!  Sad moment, but hilariously handled!
I'll also miss the magical fairy barn.
Your butler is quite awesome, by the way, but not as awesome as Kristen!!  I tried voting for her, but I think I got back from vacation too late for the poll  :=(

Poor Edamame, she was the best. Congrats on the Vet Business. I'm thinking of trying it may be. LOL YAY for little boys.

Sorry I haven't commented lately, it's just been crazy around here.

Catching up on all the Sharebear stories has been so much fun - I'm really thrilled that I finally get to vote in one!  I so wanted to vote for Edamame, but of course I was way too late, having just started reading a couple days ago.  I'm loving your story - this idea you all had to write together is really great!  And so awesome that you've invited others to join in!  I still have several to read - it's really fun to see all the different stories started by one sim.  I'm so tempted to start one of my own!  But right now, I'm off to vote and off to bed!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful story!
@GlazeyLady
Thank you for reading and for voting for my next heir.
The notion of a "collaborative legacy" was not my original idea. There's a simmer who frequents the official Sims forum, whom I met the Murkland Starter Challenge.
She answered the call in a thread "over there" by a simmer who asked if anyone wanted to start a legacy at the same time using the same founder.
After reading the blogs of two ex-Murkland simmers who joined that project, I thought it was such a great idea.
Instead of joining that project, though, I wanted to start a new one here on Carl's Forum. I consulted my friends PeregrineTook and FrancescaFiori...now here we are!
We're all very happy that you've decided to plunge into the multiversal madness! ;D

Lucky that they got a boy in the end so that you didnt have to make another heir poll.

@LenaLJ
As for adorable little Mathias, I influenced gender to ensure a boy child.
As Edamame lie dying from the "gift of betrayal," I suddenly got the "Burning to Death" popup.
But Grim had appeared before that popup, so I'm sure it was a "death by flower."
I agree with you that Kirsten most resembles her lovely mother!  ;)

Whooo, I was so far behind!  Edamame, we'll miss you.  "Not like we can reshoot this."  Hilarious!  Sad moment, but hilariously handled!
I'll also miss the magical fairy barn.

@PeregrineTook
Sheesh, I was expecting much more drama from Jaga after he unintentionally killed his mother by gifting her the floral arrangement Edamame had left for him.
But what happens? Instead, he stands there ignoring his dying mother because he's "reacting to first snow" while she burns to death. Talk about LAG!!!
Lol, the problem with the vet clinic is--I'm finding out--that pets have much shorter lifespans but the brothers are now mourning the death of each and every pet they'd treated.
It is a losing battle against the constant 2-day Sad moodlets!!!

Poor Edamame, she was the best. Congrats on the Vet Business. I'm thinking of trying it may be. LOL YAY for little boys.
Sorry I haven't commented lately, it's just been crazy around here.
@sdhoey
The vet clinic is good to run with the Friend of the Animals aspiration, since it helps you meet lots of pets to befriend and "feel the love."
(You can invite them to your home lot later.)
Don't bother hiring any employees--they won't earn you any perk points.
And be prepared for constant sadness due to mourning all the pet deaths. *sighs

Sharebears 4.41: 'Twas a Dark and Stormy Night
« Reply #289 on: July 21, 2018, 03:05:41 PM »

4.41: 'Twas a Dark and Stormy Night

Previously:
*Kirsten and Liv celebrate their teen birthdays 3 days ago on Wednesday;
*Jaga finally completes his Friend of the Animals aspiration;
*Ikura, Jaga, Maja, and Hakuto max their careers then quit work; and
*Jaga and company finish earning 19,750 perk points to buy all the vet clinic's perks.

Week 14/Saturday (Fall 7)

Jaga: After selling 50 Shades of Spay, we arrive at Granite Falls.
Liv: At last, I can start my Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration!
Jaga: You've got to make this weekend count, Liv! *gives her a moodlet solver
You'll be a young adult in 4 days but winter starts tomorrow!

Maja: Before leaving on vacation, I aged up our third child Mathias.
He's inherited Jaga's green eyes!
Oddly, he ages up with a two-day "Mourning" moodlet. What the heck?

Liv: I already have Fishing 9, so catching 5 fish will be a cinch.
Jaga: Time to stop fishing and get harvesting, Liv!
Look! Chamomile and Toxic Chamomile are out of season now.
But, in fall, you can still harvest Elderberry and Noxious Elderberry.

Liv: The herbs are seasonal?! But the winter season starts at midnight!
Jaga: Yep, you only have four hours to harvest 10 plants.
But nobody in the current household has visited Granite Falls before.
Let me text our watcher to see if she can help you…

Kirsten: Meanwhile, I research the herbs' growing seasons with the following results.
*Spring: Fireleaf/Poison Fireleaf and Morel/False Morel Mushroom
*Summer: all herbs (Chamomile/Toxic Chamomile are summer only)
*Fall: Elderberry/Noxious Elderberry and Huckleberry/Muckleberry
*Winter: None

Whew, that was hard work. I need a short nap to rest my brain.

Kirsten: What the heck is going on? Is this a dream?
It certainly doesn't feel like I'm dreaming.
My mind and body feel like they're hurtling through space and time!

This place looks just like Hida-Takayama in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.
I should know! I did a Powerpoint presentation on that remote mountain village for my class yesterday.
It's famous for its traditional farmhouses and its proximity to natural hot springs and the Japanese Alps.
But what am I doing here?

Stranger: Well, it took you long enough to arrive!
Kirsten: Um, you look vaguely familiar, but I'm pretty sure I've never met you.
Stranger: You mean your father never told you about me? I'm your watcher, oshizu.
Kirsten: You're dressed quite differently than I'd expected…
oshizu: I already have a table in that café over there. Come with me, Kirsten.

oshizu: I still can't believe you didn't recognize me, Kirsten!
Kirsten: Well, I've seen a photo of you in which you looked a lot more futuristic.
oshizu: Oh right, that photo must be from my Sharebear Executive Council days.
Pippin and I remain in contact, but the Council is no more, sad to say.

o: And just where did you see such a photo?
K: After announcing the Gen5 heir vote, Papa showed  the photo to Liv and I.
According to family legend, our founder took the shot during her first meeting with you.
o: Oh yeah, we three council members were going for a certain look at the time.
Since the Council disbanded, though, I usually dress like normal folk outside of special missions…

K: So, where have you been lately? The whole household's been kinda worried.
I mean, Papa worked so hard to finish Friend of the Animals and the vet clinic perks.
o: That aspiration and the vet clinic burned me out big time!
And then, of course, there's Liv's Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration. Ugh!
I played some Persona 5 and Harvest Moon on my PS4 to regather my chi, but now I'm ba-a-a-a-ack!

K: Why exactly am I here? You have a phone, don't you? Couldn't you just text me?
o: Oh puhleeze! What's the fun in that? Dream visitations are so much snazzier!
Anyway, congratulations, Kirsten! The readers have chosen you as the next heir!
K: So, when my young adult birthday comes, I take over the legacy? *squees

o: Exactly. And in case you're curious, here's how the voting went.
I assume you know why you, and not Liv, will do a vampire aspiration?
K: Does it have to do with Liv's Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration?
o: Right! A vampire would have difficulty completing the "Sleep 5 nights in a tent" goal.
I mean, perhaps a vampire could replenish Vampire Energy in a tent with the right traits.
But I don't feel like wasting a season finding that out.
K: And will I have to marry a vampire?

o: Ah yes, the million-dollar question! This is why I summoned you here.
I could have simply texted the vote results to your father, you know.
Anything you want to say to me about marriage partners?
K: Um, I know Papa has his eye on a certain male vampire with unique traits.
But, uh, I kinda, sorta, have a major crush on our mailman.
o: Yes, I'm aware of that. I am virtually omniscient after all…except when I'm not.

o: Speaking of which, I hope you don't mind that I've invited someone else along…
K (gasps): It's the mailman!
o: Takuya Sasaki, meet Kirsten Sharebear. And Kirsten, meet Takuya.
K (whispers to oshizu): Is Takuya one of those legacy love dudes?
o: Actually, the game spawned him. He's totally my type, you know!
Be darn grateful, Kirsten, that I didn't snatch Takuya up for myself!

Takuya: It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Kirsten!
K: Finally? What do you mean "finally"?
o: I explained to him about you and my experiment to give him unique traits.
K (whispers): What!? So I could marry him instead of that creepy vampire?
o: Correct! That's certainly the plan, but only if Takuya likes you back.

K: Well, Takuya, please tell me more about yourself. *bats eyelashes
T: I enjoy….*fades out
o: Sorry, Kirsten. I gotta go. Your dad texted me and, apparently, Liv needs me desperately. Laterz!
K: Noooooooooooooooo!!!

Meanwhile, back at the National Park in Granite Falls…

Liv: It's so dark! I can't see a thing!
Never fear, your watcher is here!
Liv: Wait, what? Who goes there? And can you help me?
It's me, your watcher. Your father contacted me to ask that I help you.
So, yes, cavalry to the rescue and all that. *sighs

Liv: Have you seen Kirsten's list? I have until midnight to harvest any 10 herbs.
But I won't be able to harvest and identify all 10 herb types until summer.
Yeah, that sucks, dear. It means you can't even start your stupid tent-sleeping goal until summer!

Liv: What should I do, watcher? I can barely see and don't know what to look for.
Yeah, I think I can help with that.
We're only looking for the round Huckleberry/Muckleberry bushes.

Liv: So you'll locate the seasonal plants in the dark for me to harvest?
That's right. And you only need to harvest five more. You can do it, Liv!
By the way, would you please refrain from opening and closing your umbrella with each plant?

Liv: I know we're on a tight schedule but it's raining slightly. *pouts

Liv: Thanks for finding 5 plants for me in the National Park, watcher!
Now that you're back at the Campground, a thunderstorm has started. Beware of lightning!
Liv: Eh, I should have changed to my rain wear hours ago. I need to keep fishing.
Looks like the ducks are having way more fun than we are, eh?

Liv: While I'm braving the thunder and lightning, my siblings are safe and warm indoors.
Kirsten: I've done my homework and extra credit, and started a second school project.
I'm determined to earn an A on Monday!
Ikura: And Mathias asked me to teach him his basic needs, so flash cards.

Week 15/Sunday (Winter 1)

Liv: I can't believe it took me four hours to catch the last two fish!
Watcher, don't the fish bite better when it rains?
Not in Sims 4, dear. You must be thinking of Harvest Moon? Hey, catch those bugs!

Liv: On it! Grandma Edamame told me any bugs I catch will count later.
Pfft, too bad you can't "Sleep in a tent for 5 days" in advance, too.

Liv: Now I can "Cook 2 Plates of Beetles" using the fireflies I just caught. Sweet!
Ugh, I hate that goal, too. Don't get distracted before you finish roasting two plates!
And be sure to light the fire right before you start roasting.
If the fire goes out, you'll not only lose your "beetle" but also need to start over.

Liv: Um, watcher, you know how you're always hating on Outdoor Enthusiast?
Yeah, so?
Liv: Seems to me that Outdoor Enthusiast hates you right back…
Hey look, it's Sharebears Day.
Everyone insta-completes the Travel tradition by being here on vacation!

Hermit: Thanks for the gift, young lady!
Liv: I'm glad that you and I are friends now, humble hermit!
The good news is that I've earned enough satisfaction to buy Connections.
But due to the unavailability of six herbs, I'm 600 points short of buying Entrepreneurial, too.
Hermit: Nobody said that life was fair, missy!

Well, this Dragon Dragonfly's the 15th of my future "Collect 15 insects" goal. *sighs
For now, I've accomplished everything possible for Outdoor Enthusiast that requires me to be be here.
I'll let Papa know that I'm ready to leave Granite Falls until we return in spring next Sunday.

Legacy Score:  Unchanged

*"Bear Cabin" rental by Lady Martita (40x30, Gallery); edited for toddlers

Chapter Notes
*As you've surely surmised, dream sequences always take place in a separate save file.
*Takuya Sasaki has got to be THE best-looking townie ever autonomously spawned.
*Don't be an idiot like me! If you have Seasons and want to do Outdoor Enthusiast, you can only harvest all 10 herbs in summer. Sheesh!
*Forum member @scoed compiled a handy-dandy list of which plants thrive in which season here.

Takuya the Mailman is a rather lucky Sim, first off, for being the chosen beloved for the adorable Kristen, and secondly, for not being Watcher-abducted so that he never got to be in the legacy  ;=)
It's so nice that you helped Liz through the aspiration that you hate...or at least as much as you can at the moment.  Seasons gives some lovely scenery, but it looks like it really adds a twist to certain aspirations!
I'll be making my first non-council appearance in an update in a few more updates from now.  Glad you already broke the ice on that story-wise  ;=)

WOW, nice looking mailman, my game likes to throw a hulky one every now and then. Poor Liv, out in the cold wet world. At least she did what she had to do.

A disbanded council?? Whatever will we do? I loved seeing all the council members.  :o

Very informative update!  I didn't know that the insects would count later, nor did I think about the growing seasons of the Granite Falls plants.  The Seasons pack has a lot of cool stuff in it, but it also does make some things a little more complicated.

I sure hope that good-looking mailman goes vamp too so that Kirsten doesn't live into eternity without her love!  On the other hand, maybe she's destined for many loves, not just one . . . . hmmmmm.  Looking forward to finding out!

Poor Liv!  She finally gets the chance to go to Granite Falls and she only has a few hours to collect a few herbs and bugs in the rain!  I hope her return visit in the summer goes more smoothly.

Congrats to Kirsten for winning the heir vote and finding that hunky mailman.  He can always become a vampire if it's necessary for the watcher's plans.  Speaking of the watcher, you look good in pink.  Welcome back from your little break!  :)

@PeregrineTook
Well, that's an idea which hadn't occurred to me! I could have saved Takuya with my simself and had him escort me on my occasional narrative appearances, like Izumi does. *coughs
That herb-harvesting session was so dismal--it was pitch dark, all the rain puddles made the landscape unrecognizable, and I have poor night vision in real life.
Looking forward to seeing your watcher sim in action soon.

I'm planning on three vampires for the three vampire aspirations, so Kirsten and her mailboi will stay roughly the same age.
Are you playing your legacy on Short or Normal lifespan?
My founder already completed Soulmates/Serial Romantic, so my heirs won't be spending their time on mutliple loves unless one has the misfortune to roll Serial Romantic. ;D
I don't think Kirsten could find a more gorgeous sim (personal taste, I know) unless I downloaded a sim from Community Gallery and even then...

Poor Liv!  She finally gets the chance to go to Granite Falls and she only has a few hours to collect a few herbs and bugs in the rain!  I hope her return visit in the summer goes more smoothly.

@BallerinaHippo
I really did not think things through with how Seasons affects Outdoor Enthusiast. I have no doubt that she can find her remaining herbs in summer.
The bummer is that she cannot start her Sleep 5 Nights in a Tent goal until she harvests/identifies the two summer-only herbs.
And yes, as I mentioned to GlazeyLady, the plan for Gen5 has always been three vampires for the three vampire aspirations.
I'm pleased as punch that Akito has risen to Master Vampire since the founder first met him back in Gen1.

Sharebears 4.42: Nobody But You
« Reply #295 on: July 24, 2018, 05:13:22 PM »

Year 1, Winter 2

4.42: Nobody But You

Week 15/Sunday

Jaga: After returning from our stormy Granite Falls vacation, we spend a few hours at home to unpack and dry off.
Hakuto and Yesenia will be moving out soon, so they suggest trying to complete our fishing collection.
We arrive at the Willow Creek Library in search of an anglerfish and a wolf eel.

The weather seems to thwart us wherever we go recently.
Rather, we are out of touch about where and when we can do certain activities.
Since it's freezing out, fishing here is out of the question.
Whatever happened to chopping a circular hole in the ice to fish, like in the cartoons?

I'd invited along my acquaintances Takuya Sasaki (left) and Akito Yamaguchi (right).
My plan was for Kirsten and Liv to socialize with them while we adults go fishing.

I've known for some time now that Akito is a Master Vampire.
His Insider trait disqualifies him as a primary spouse.
Regardless, he'll make a considerate master and marvelous trainer for Kirsten!
(Or I'll break his neck…)

Behind the library, an ice skating rink and unattended food stall pop up.
Maybe we'll all learn to ice skate someday, but not tonight.

Our mailman Takuya lacks unique traits, too, but Kirsten has fallen head over heels for him.
He doesn't bring much to the table except for his good looks and his flamboyant Fabio hairstyle.
Apparently, that's enough for Kirsten.  *shrugs
If Takuya agrees to become Kirsten's primary spouse, our watcher promises to help with his traits.
All we can do now is hope that Takuya appreciates Kirsten's many attributes.

Takuya (internally): I've only caught glimpses of Kirsten around the Sharebear villa before.
Why, then, do I get the feeling that this isn't our first conversation?
And what is this undeniable chemistry we share? Is this some kind of magic spell?

Kirsten: I know we've just now met in this simverse, but you've been in my heart for so long.
Takuya: (What does that "in this simverse" mean? Does she believe other simverses exist?)
Kirsten: In three days, I become the Sharebear Legacy's fifth-generation heir.
I'm still a teen so you don't need to answer me right away but...
I want you to know that I can't imagine myself with anyone else except you, Takuya.
Takuya: Whoa, whoa, hold on a minute. Can we get to know each other first?

Jaga: At a nearby table, Liv and Akito share nowhere near the same level of chemistry.
It's not surprising, really. Initially, we'd hoped to move in Orfeu Garrido for his unique traits.
Then, Kirsten would have married Akito (with his non-unique traits) as her secondary spouse.

But Kirsten's totally nixed the idea of Orfeu and insists that nobody but Takuya will do.
I mean, if she's going for a guy with non-unique traits, why can't she choose Akito? *sighs
Akito's not only a  master vampire but he's also a Level 10 Startup Entrepreneur.

Anyway, Maja and I have decided to let Kirsten follow her heart.

Takuya: What the heck is going on here, Kirsten?
One moment, you are saying that you can't live without me.
Next thing I know, you're letting that Akito dude suck on your neck.
Let me tell you, baby girl, I do NOT share!
Kirsten: *moans incoherently

Kirsten: I'm sorry, Takuya. It's not at all what it looks like. I can explain everything!
Takuya: I'm listening…
Kirsten: You see, our legacy needs to complete three vampire aspirations and… *blah, blah, blah
Takuya: And while we're vampires, we'll stop ageing? How intriguing…

Monday

Jaga: Still hoping to get in some fishing, we head for Rest in Peace, our family cemetery.
It's located near the entrance to Sylvan Glade in Willow Creek.
Takuya immediately begins shoveling snow. Is that because he's active?
We also see the ghosts of Papa Jaxton and my beloved raccoon Ragnar.

Jaga: In perpetual mourning, I attempt to gain access to the entrance to Sylvan Glade.
Mathias: Mama, why is Papa talking to a tree?

Jaga: Here in the Glade, the weather is warm and partly cloudy.
What a relief to escape the terrible weather of late.
It's so warm, in fact, that we begin overheating and must switch to our hot weather clothes.

Takuya: How sweet of you to invite me over to help you with your school project!

Kirsten (internally): Hah, my A grade today means I'm never returning to school.
Would he be offended that I chose this project so we can both boost our Painting skill?
Sssshhhh! I've decided that, once Takuya's mine, he'll be joining the Painter career.

Jaga: If we really push Mathias, he could become a Top-Notch Toddler.
But I don't want him to spend every waking moment being pressured to achieve, you know?
His toddlerhood only lasts 2 more days--let him spend that time as he wishes!
Happy Toddler doesn't offer the 25% career boost, but it's good enough.

Takuya: That three of us will be doing the three vampire aspirations disturbs me.
Mostly because what little I know about the vampire lifestyle comes from TV or film.
Like, I hope that creature up there on the screen is a zombie, and not a vampire.
I would give up almost everything to be with Kirsten, but not my hair!

How long will Kirsten and I need to remain vampires? And what about our children?
So many questions, but I'm saving them until after I've moved in.

Tuesday

Takuya: Can you keep a secret, gentle readers?
I'm quite crazy about Kirsten but I've been playing it cool. I mean, how would it look?
She's still a high schooler. It would seem creepy of me to pursue her, don't you think?
So instead, I let her think that she's persuaded me to become BFFs.
Once she's a young adult, I can show her how I really feel.

Jaga: Thanks for mentoring me so I could max painting, Ikura.
You'd have done a better job with the memorial portraits, I know, but I wanted to paint them myself.
Ikura: No problem. Anyway, now we can both mentor painting.
Jaga: If you are planning to start a family, Ikura, you only have a day left to choose someone yourself.
Ikura: Only a day left? Then I better get moving! *pulls out his phone
Jaga: What? You have someone in mind? Why haven't you ever mentioned her to me?
Ikura: Is this the Jensen residence? Oh, hello, Mallory! Could you come over? It's rather urgent…

Jaga: Malloy Jensen? The daughter of Maja's brother Magnus? My niece?
Ikura: Hey, the watcher and I did hours of research on the topic of our relatedness.
Since Magnus is your wife's brother, he's your brother-in-law and his daughter Mallory's your niece.
Though your wife Maja's my sister-in-law, however, that doesn't make Magnus my brother-in-law.
So his daughter Mallory and I aren't related by blood or by law.

Jaga: Bbbuuuttt, Mallory is still a teenager! She's the same age as Kirsten and Liv!
Ikura: Uh huh, that's why I've invited her over.
Maja: Hush, Jaga. You have our blessings, Ikura. You are kind, diligent and thoughtful. You'll make a great father.
My niece would not find a better match anywhere.

Hakuto: So will you and Mallory be living with us in Chateau Frise?
Ikura: Nope. I've bought us a sweet little 3-bedroom hacienda in Oasis Springs.
Mallory moved there earlier this morning.

Jaga (mutters): This is what happens when our simverse doesn't offer enough attractive spouse options!

Some of our fish had disappeared since our founder completed Angling Ace ages ago.
At the Forgotten Grotto, Liv and I respectively catch a wolf eel and an anglerfish.
My brothers, Maja, and I all complete Angling Ace and our fish collection lacks only one fish.
For now, though, we need to take Mathias home so he can eat and rest.

Kirsten: The instant I step inside the house, my transformation begins!
Wretched wolfbane!  What tasteless fiend chose my dark form anyway?!
This calls for an immediate makeover. I can't wait until my birthday tomorrow!

Jaga: I return to Desert Bloom Park with my brothers, leaving everyone else at home.
What a surprise that I'm the one to catch the last fish, a red-tailed black shark!
No need to stay here a moment longer.

There's nothing really pressing to do until the girls' birthdays tomorrow morning.
I could take my brothers and Liv to Selvadorada for a last-ditch attempt for more artifacts.
But no, we're going to take it slow today and prepare for the next generation.

Later this afternoon, my beloved wife Maja, my brothers, and Hakuto's wife Yesenia will move out.
Once they're settled in their new homes, we can perhaps regroup this evening.

Legacy Score: unchanged
Nature (0): completed Fish collection

Chapter Notes
*I'm really surprised at how quickly the weather changes. Is it due to the Short lifespan?
My sims alternate between freezing and overheating almost every day.
*In fall and winter, my sims can do very little outdoors due to the rain, storms, and snow.
They'd like more fall and winter activities besides roller/ice skating.
I'm replacing now-useless venues (like Bath de Rille) with venues friendlier to cold weather.
Or my sims can just spend all their spare time in Selvadorada, lol.
*I would love a community venue for indoor toddler playdates.
*Thanks to Hakuto's situation, I learned today that my sister-in-law's sister (who s my brother's sister-in-law) is no blood or legal relation of mine. Hah!

We're very close to the girls' young adult birthdays. I can't wait.

Wow.  When you have to break out the law books to ensure spousal options, you know things are rough ;=)
So happy that the darling Kristen will be with us for a long while.  Pretty amusing that we're both setting up vampSims to take care of those aspirations at the same time!  Hopefully, you'll get a little ahead of me in it so I can steal...I mean...borrow ideas  ;=)

Takuya came with that white Fabio hair.  Your Sam looks great in that hair, too!
Haha, don't be reminding me of that 80's film with Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange!
Takuya might be my new favorite sim, lol.

My fifth generation is about to take over, so I've been trying to complete the "almost-done" collections.
The Nature category point only requires 13 completed collections, though. I'm just being stubborn.
Nooooo, Takuya is not "kinda cute," girl. He is waaaaay cute, lol.
Glad you're happy about the heir vote result. ;D

@PeregrineTook
Lol, Mallory Jensen happened to be the prettiest female sim available but I wasn't sure whether their relationship was permissible.
When I googled "my sister-in-law's niece" and "my brother-in-law's niece," I was surprised that most of the hits were posts by guys wondering if that relationship was IRL-acceptable, hahaha. Who knew?
Actually, Nicole Sharebear (the Gen2 spare of @LenaLJ) was first Sharebear to become a vampire. My Kirsten will not remain a vamp any longer than necessary.
My vampire setup seems quite different than yours. I suppose Lisee will be doing two or three consecutive vamp aspirations.
Kirsten, Takuya, and Akito will be working on one vamp aspiration each.
Since Seasons adds two more careers, Imight have Kirsten and Takuya hang around as vampires to do a second career. Not sure yet.
