With the twins adult birthday coming up the immortals hold a meeting to discus their plans for Arthur.

Tabitha:I think it is time for Arthur to start looking for a spouse.
Dotty:Oh mother there is plenty of time for that.
Tabitha:Since Jeromy died we have two spaces in the house,enough room for a spouse and an heir.
Dotty:Then what,we wait for my Archie to die to bring in the next generation.
Adam:You know how it is sweetheart.
Dotty:Yes I know,I just wish that both my boys could be with me forever.
Denver:You don't think I wished the exact same thing. Saying goodbye to my brother was the hardest thing I ever had to go through.
Tabitha;Getting upset won't help.
Dotty:Well we cannot all have the stone hearted life time wish.
Adam:Stop it now all of you.
Dotty:But..
Adam:I said enough. Now any ideas for the boys birthday tomorrow.
Tabitha:I have invited all the eligible young woman in the neighbourhood round for a party.
Adam:Good,perhaps one of them will be suitable.

Unaware to the immortals someone else was listening to their conversation.

Archie and his new wife couldn't wait to start a family of their own.

But despite trying for several weeks their wish to have a baby just wasn't happening.

Archie:Caitlin,honey I went to see a doctor today.
Caitlin:What did they say are you..
Archie:It's not good news the doctor says I can't have children.
Caitlin:Oh no are they sure.
Archie:We could always adopt.
Caitlin:No I wanted to have a baby that carries both our blood in it's veins,your family was right you should never have married me.
Archie:No they are not right I love you and we will have a baby.
Caitlin:But how?
Archie:Do you trust me.
Caitlin:Of course.

Arthur:Are you sure this is what you want?
Archie:Yes I am certain.
Arthur:I don't want this to come between us.
Archie:It won't I got us both the no jealousy life time reward. I just want you to promise me one thing.
Arthur:Anything.
Archie:Promise me that until the day I die nobody will know who the babies real father is.
Arthur:I promise.
The next night the three of them went out for a meal to talk things over. Both Caitlin and Arthur needed a little nectar for courage.

Arthur:Are you sure.
Archie:Yes we are both sure.Aren't we honey.
Caitlin:It is what we want. Thank you for doing this for us Arthur.
Arthur:You two are going to make great parents.
Caitlin:And you will be a wonderful uncle.


Archie heard the chimes and knew that his child was on its way. Despite the fact he was not the biological father he already loved the little spark of life that had just come into existence.

Caitlin was so calm when she went into labour.

A beautiful baby girl was born but only three members of the family knew that she was destined to be the sixth immortal.

Before we knew it our little princess had grown into a toddler.

You are all probably wondering what her name is.
Everyone meet Lotus-Blossom Khalid known as Lotty to the family she has the genius and neurotic traits.

Oh boy! When I read Archie and Caitlin's conversation about fertility I had to go back to when Archie and Arthur were born because I thought Archie was the heir, and I was wondering if this was how you "help" the family get a younger spouse for Archie, and push back the birth of the next immortal heir.

But going back I realize Arthur is the heir. Now I'm confused. Tabitha said there were only 2 spots left in the house and then Caitlin moves in. Household member #8 is either Archie and Caitlin's nooboo (what does that mean for the heir Arthur?) or Arthur's wife (no room for a nooboo heir!)

But everything gets sorted out in the end! Very well written Rachel, you had me going all over the place! Fabulous twist! I'm still curious about Arthur's life though, will he find his true love? Guess I will just have to come back for more!

Oh, and a big welcome to Lotty! The future who's the next heir conversation should be interesting.

Lilly thank you for the kind comments. I did worry that there might be too much serious conversation going on. I also had to really think about what I was writing so that I could get the plot line across but also keep it forum friendly. I am really happy with how it turned out.

On another note how cute does Lotty look in her hat. She aged up with bad hair so I did what every parent does in those circumstance and hid it beneath a hat.

Okay, Lottie is the heir right? She is Arthur's first kid born of a sim in the household. I'm a little turned around but this plot twist gets me excited.
