This probably a stupid question, but, can you evict other families from their houses when in edit town mode. Just curious.

x

You can, but you are not allowed that luxury in this event like you will be in the Clones challenge.

Planting a garden is altering the lot.

and the rules state:
Nothing in any house or on any lot can be changed/moved with the exception of the two items each Sim can buy from Buy Mode and/or a register.

To garden or fish you can acquire needed items however you want. But, you just need to remember the rule for 2 purchased items per house.

This would seem to suggest that it is okay to plant a garden.

Well I asked Metro and he said that a garden was changing the lot, so technically you could have no more than 4 garden plots and buy nothing else for the house.

Yeah, gardening is pretty much out unless you want a very small garden. :)

Heh, it's best I take the #1 spot on the leaderboard for a while before someone bumps me off... ;D

After 12 weeks, Drifter East (sim-self) and Kanye West (the person I think of when I see the word "dig") capped a total of 23 unique careers. They lived in houses worth a total of $10,200,096.

10,200,096 x 3.30 = 33,660,316.80
Final score = 33,660,316

Whew. I need a break from Sims; the challenge was pretty demanding.
The next 2 will be very interesting though - I've no idea what to do, unlike these first two.

Alright. Finally done. My 2 sims maxed a total of 8 careers. They lived in houses totaling up to $415,225.

415225x1.8= 747,405

This was fun. Cant wait till the next one starts!!

Darn (edited for language)...not sure I'll get enough time to join in on this one before it closes, I may have to try the next one.

Very impressive score there Drift!

I can still submit my score if I don't get to week 12 right?
Like if the challenge is over and I'm only on 9 I can still submit right?

Well, the chaos that is my life every November and December completely erased this forum from my brain. I'm actually kind of depressed that I missed the first challenge, it sounded SUPER awesome, and right up my alley. Oh well, not too late to take a whack at this one! I'm back, baby.  ;D

Ooops, sorry. I guess that word must be considered a curse word in the US then. It certainly isn't here...that's considered safe to use in conversations with grandma in that context.
