@Sportsfan

I don't know where you are seeing that. If I open a thread I have a button at the bottom right to mark as unread. What I'm talking about is the boxes to check that used to be down the right side of the whole page of threads.  Each thread had a box and you could check off as many as you want then click mark as read.

It's okay though. I think Carl knows what I'm talking about.

Yeah, I guess this functionality is still there and doesn't require a mod. SMF 2.0 rocks. Control F5 if not working right for you.

In the messages area, there are links that are supposed to take you to the seperate messages. These links don't work. I thought I should just let you know.

Quirks like this will be chalked up to the new interface :( I don't like the way that PMs hop around either but have no way to fix it.

I thought you had made it that members have to make a certain number of posts before they could post a link to a website? I just reported 2 posts from someone who has just registered. Both were just full of gibberish and links.

edit.. they didn't just register, they registered on October 14, but apparently they only started posting today!

Carl was talking about links in signatures. Some people just create an account and put links in signatures without posting anything. They need to have 5 posts before adding anything in their signatures, including links. Registered members still can post and put links, but we can deal with them fast enough. Thanks for reporting those posts, they are gone now :)

Oh, I thought it was in posts as well as their signatures.

Yeah two mum, under 5 posts can't do links in signatures or enter a website in website box.

You and me however, can put as much spam in our siggys as we want.  ;D
