Losing Deathfish When Moving
« on: January 25, 2012, 04:53:33 PM »
Thought I would start this and wondered if any else has had this problem: When I moved my sim (level 10 angler with 7 deathfish in her inventory) to a bigger house I noticed when wanting to make ambrosia that all my (her) deathfish (along with all the other fish) had disappeared. The town was Hidden Springs and I only have EA Store items downloaded.

That seems to be a problem for people now.  It has been happening for a while.  I know my sister loses her fish when she takes her sims on vacation and they don't come home with them.  I guess there is no easy answer to that, unless you have a chest or something, that you can put your fish and items in when you move again.  That usually helps and putting them in the frig helps too, just put the fridge in family inventory with fish and fruits and veggies. :)

Yes, that is an error introduced with the [Pets] Patch, EA improperly coded some changes to the Fish objects regarding Cat Hunting skill, and in the process they bounce during the town-transition process.

Hopefully EA will choose to correct the issue in a future patch, otherwise read my signature.

It is a euphemism.

It says to PM me for more details, in my forum signature.
