Is there any way to get the pet hydrogenator back if the repo man takes it?

No, there's not.  You'll just have to get another one when you get enough happiness points for your pet.  And be sure to pay the bills!  :)

Darn! That's what I thought. Don't worry, I always pay my bills xD. My room mate got the game for Christmas and refused to get the no bills ltr despite never remembering to check the mail. Hopefully I can convince him to get it now lol.

It ruins the fun of working for it, but it should be in buydebug.

Yeah, that's true.   I didn't think of that.

Well there is another way to avoid paying bills. Using your lifetime happiness points, there is an option to get the "no bills". It cost about 10,000 or 15,000 lifetime points. Once you get that, you can forget about the repo man ever visiting you again!

Unless I have the LTR, I usually don't pay the bills until the last day, when the notification comes up and I can just press the button to pay it, without disturbing what my sims were already doing.

That reward is only available when you have World Adventures installed.
