I thought it might be fun to have a thread for pictures we take of visiting Sim's shows that we host.
I hadn't thought of taking pics till my singer came back from visiting Enchanted's town and she sent some photos of the show.

So here are a couple from the next show I hosted. Please feel free to add pics from shows you host.

Her name is Serenity, she burned to death while delivering a sing-a-gram, a pyrotechnic malfunction with her gizmo. Did the op to bring her back to life to see if ghosts could do the simport thing, question answered!

Thanks for posting it! She received the black uniform at the same time as she became a vampire (she hadn't changed outfit since her promotion) so it was particularly fitting :-)

Then, the great SIXX magician (by neonkittie) who performed at Hoi Polloi event Center - epic too...

but SIXX had little oops moment after her levitation act

These are from a coulpe of days ago. I didn't get to post them because shortly after the show, I had to go to the dentist and after having two teeth pulled, I didn't feel like doing much at all for about a day

I must say, I like watching the singers, and I really enjoy the magicians, but I love the acrobats.. must be the circus mum in me

I wish when I take photos of the real circus performers, I could freeze the action while I set up the shot lol.
I can see before long, I am going to have to learn how to take videos in game to record the action properly.

When you have performers visiting, you can actually request that they do things. I requested the juggling (also with clubs) and a balance ball trick, the rest he did on his own.

I've been playing around with video rather than photos of performances. I haven't had a lot of luck yet, as I am still very new to that feature. Anyway, here is a little video of Lasnien's acrobat Star Pretzel.
A few notes before you watch.. yes there are a few spots that should have been cut out where she just stands there. The quality of the original was a lot better, but when I changed from avi to mp4, I lost heaps ( I need to look at the settings I used)
Also, pay no attention to the fact that the stage lights are pointing at the audience. The stage hand who placed them need to be severely reprimanded for that error!

Now I just need a few more ~~victims~~, um, I mean volunteers, to send their Sims to perform in my town so I can refine my skills.

@ Twinmum: It's a great idea. I was lucky to host 2 Sims from Trentorio/AngryStar yesterday, and even if I enjoyed very much taking picts of their shows, I felt that static images weren't exactly representing how good their performances were. It was really very nice shows to watch as player. So, next time, I'll try to take video too, but it'll be a first time for me, so I don't expect great results from the movie director

And I think it's also the right opportunity to take advantage of all the tutorials from Leto on video editing.

I'll happily Simport with you later today, let's say around +6/7 hours from now if it's alright for you since we're absolutely not in the same time zone. Right now, I only have an acrobat to send, and he's at level 9 almost 10.

Ok this is embarrasing.

I have pictures of sims I've hosted so long ago that I can't remember what their names were and where did they came from. The player wall doesn't help much as it doesn't keep much history. All I can find there is that the last sim, the acrobat is BellaClo's and his name is Bombastic Marcus. I think the magician is also Bella's and his name is Dark Harkness. If you recognize any of the singers, please tell me so that I can give you proper credit! I apologize for not writing down their names!

Thanks for the pictures. I think that singer #2 was also one of mine, stage name Flower Coco. Sadly, she has since made her way to the recycle bin as well as her roommate Dark Harkness and another bombastic acrobat. Their saves ended up fried in bugs. Bombastic Marcus is still alive and kicking on the other hand, and has recently been joined by a genie, future magician. No need to apology for the props, he got the stamp and rewards nonetheless. And I've used a few "Kaching" when I started this new save

Star Pretzel is nice to look at. I didn't meant that in a wrong way, but she really looks like a ballet/performer to me. She got something Japanese over her, though I'm quite sure her creator wasn't intented to.

For me, I think being an amateur photographer in real life helps.. not to mention that my favourite subject matter happens to be circus performers!

Well, I know I learned from taking so many pictures for my stories. I'll admit the tab key does all the work, though! I also thought Star had a different kind of beauty to her. She crashed and burned in that performance while on the big ball, but I just had so many good screenshots that I picked only the good ones to share

She crashes and burns frequently at home, too. I'm glad you folks like her!

I'd add some pics to the thread, but I'm afraid I've been doing more touring than hosting, and the one time I did host a sim, he never actually showed up to his own show.

For some reason his career hairstyle actually swapped to a new one from the store and then whenever I tried to change it back, he became an elder. I'm glad you enjoyed his final Acrobatics gig.

This is a simport singer, Nicole Goldensong. She performed at the Ultimate Venue, which was renamed the Nathan J. Plumb Event Center in Sunset Valley in honor of my founder. Here she entertains the founder's daughter, Savannah Plumb Cheesman.

My founder's daughter, Savannah Plumb Cheesman, and her friend from high school, Ari Moore (a townie I'd stolen from Riverview), enjoy the show.

My own Level 10 singer, Madison Avenue.

My Sim family's two oldest kids watch a Simport acrobat performing in the stadium I put in Hidden Springs.

It's him not you - he's red. Generation 6 of my dynasty actually and I'm glad his first show was fun for someone. He has always been expressive in my game so I'm glad someone else got to see it. I love that shot where the flowers didn't turn out.
