He sure does clean up nicely.  Might want to beware the wrath of Morgana, though!
He is very nice-looking now, I never noticed his pretty eyes before. He has been used before, by ratchie in her Smith Immortal Dynasty. I agree that blue is not masculine, I am mad at the builders too!

I'm still combing through the Completed Dynasty Stories, so I've only seen him used by the Moons of Jupiter and he helped produce some very pretty twin girls. I must say--I love that power suit. SO much. I laugh my head off every time I see it in-game!

Chapter 3 - Bachelorette of the Century

Somehow, Thornton and I ended up at the Grind, where we continued to talk about our interests. Thornton was certainly very considerate and complimentary--and such refined tastes! He is very classy, and classical music is nice and all, but I need to introduce him to Indie sometime.

We ordered a few drinks and danced a bit, then I got to thinking about how nice he was, and the distinguished hints of gray in his hair, and how lovely his clear gray eyes were . . .

When I kissed him, it seemed that all thought of Morgana flew from Thornton's mind. Never mind the years of content, if not particularly passionate, marriage . . . the life they had built together down by the ocean. He had fallen in love with a golden-haired witch, and sayonara Morgana!

After a few (hours, days, weeks?) minutes of kissing, we took a taxi to the bistro. Thornton insisted on paying for the meal, and we sat very close together at the table.

After we had finished eating, Thornton knelt on the ground and pulled a ring out of his back pocket! First, I wondered: Does he just carry a ring around in a black velvet box?

I suddenly gasped, realizing that this was a proposal. A marriage proposal!

We were asked to leave several minutes later, something about public decency rules? How very rude of the bistro workers--you know I'm going to hear a lot about this when I go back to work on Thursday!

Thornton decided to take up alchemy, as I was really too busy with cooking to brew Invigorating Elixirs for Agnes. He's doing quite well already, despite insisting that alchemy is a science, not magic. We really will need to have a talk about this . . .

Anyway, I took Kaylynn out to the Grind for a little girl-to-girl chat about the dynasty. She took the opportunity to sneak a few drinks, and didn't seem to hear anything I told her about never getting married and not having kids. I hope this doesn't come back to bite me later . . .

I had an ulterior motive for being at the Grind, however. Can you say Bachelorette Party! I quite like this outfit, and so does my friend Jared, apparently. Such a nice man, Jared, but so terribly misunderstood!

Kaylynn decided to stick around for the party and gave her older brother, Parker, a few "constructive suggestions" concerning my boss, Molly. It's always nice to see a little more love in the world, isn't it?

Oh, and the nectar made a guest appearance!

Kaylynn's father, Dustin also showed up. He is always sending me the nicest letters and little presents!

Zelda decided to show her brother-in-law how it is done! I believe her power-suit is a joke between Zelda and her sister, although Iliana did not seem to find it overly amusing.

Molly surprised me with a spray of nectar on my way to the bathroom. I really was quite thirsty, and tried to catch most of it in my mouth! One of the party dancers Agnes had hired seemed to find this quite interesting.

In the end, my clothes really were so soaked as to be indecent, so I . . . ah . . . the picture explains it all.

The rest of the night was a bit of a blur and, looking back at the pictures Kaylynn posted on the SimNet, maybe I had a little too much fun.

It must be said that I am an excellent dancer! And, let's face it--how many women could rock blue underwear covered in stars while dancing on a table in front of a window? No wonder this picture has gone viral! 2,000,000 views and counting . . .

However, this photo is rated Number 1! I believe it is being placed on a billboard somewhere by a major highway in Bridgeport. Isn't that just too thoughtful?

I spent the rest of the night dancing with one of the half-dressed party dancers. Doesn't being a party dancer sound like fun? I mean, it's basically partying in your underwear with hot guys and unlimited bottles of nectar . . . oh, my. Who knew I had such a wild side?

The moment I got home, Agnes force-fed me an Invigorating Elixir and started her first unmelting ice sculpture. I think my pose really represents the fierceness I feel while wearing my underwear. That came out wrong, didn't it?

  That night (or afternoon, really--I got home around 4 A.M.) I dreamt of . . . myself.

Or, I should say, my selves.

Strange, is it not? In the morning, I ordered a You are Special Sing-a-Gram for Zelda and felt much more like myself again. Or is it my selves . . .

Awesome, awesome job on the bachelorette party!  I also love the dinner shot at the bistro with the clock in the background.  Fantastic.

Your founder does like her bad boys, doesn't she?  It doesn't surprise me at all that she's friends with Jared Frio.  Well, maybe if things don't work out with Wolffy...

I was just surprised they actually sat at the same table! Never, ever happened to one of my sim couples before . . . it's destiny!

Opposites do attract, right? And I think you just coined the nickname "Wolffy" for Thornton; I'll never think of him the same way again!

Chapter 4 - Let it Snow!

Winter has come to Sunset Valley! Don't you love snow? It's like a big, white, fluffy blanket of cloud cradling my house and family . . . I do so wish I had time to go out and play! Sadly, with all the dynasty work, everyone is too busy skilling to enjoy the snow-snow-snow-snow-snow! Next year, right?

"Serena? There's an article about the wedding in the paper!"

I immediately ran to his side. "Really? Let me read it!"

"Where does it start? Okay . . . The mysterious newcomer to Sunset Valley, beautiful young Serena Elysi, arrived in town on the first Sunday of summer. She quickly attained employment at the local bistro, and moved in prominent residents Agnes Crumplebottom, Zelda Mae, and Zelda's niece, Kaylynn. Another child was seen arriving at the Elysi house several days later.

Who is this strange, secretive woman? She is said to throw the most legendary parties of all time, yet guests are never allowed to enter the house. Almost instantaneously, she became a celebrity and the family funds are said to be at over half a million dollars.

For her wedding, Serena wore clothing that had not been purchased in Sunset Valley: a dress colored blue; a simple, geometric bracelet; and a priceless diamond necklace.
"

"What powers does Serena Elysi possess?"

"See, look down there, they have a bit about Agnes!"

"Oh, how lovely! Reclusive widow Agnes Crumplebottom was the first to enter the Elysi house, and immediately traded her mourning black for more festive garments. She disappeared for several weeks, then spent yet more time sculpting Ms. Elysi. When a reporter tried to approach her, Ms. Crumplebottom threw him across the street. Literally. Why is this artist so hesitant to speak to the public?"

"Then there's socialite Zelda Mae, who washed the dye out of her hair and traded in her cheap jeans for some new, expensive dresses. She has been seen gardening in a greenhouse in the backyard, and now spends much less time partying. How far will Zelda go to protect her new lifestyle and the family secret?"

"But we haven't even mentioned the groom yet! Thornton Wolff was cold, rich man with a hand filled with ambition, and the other with money. He lived at a secluded house with his loving wife, Morgana, and publicly stated many times that they did not intend to have children. It has never been rumored that Thornton had a secret lover, so obviously he and Serena have disguised their affair until recently. Serena and Thornton are obviously very passionate, and can be seen flirting and making out in public often."

"Say, why don't we add a bit of truth to this one?"

  "Oh, you . . ."

I set up a perfectly lovely winter wedding--although, now that I think about it, we needed more rosebushes!

Thornton and I discussed the marriage one more time, right before the guests arrived. He wasn't sure that his commitment issues and dislike of children would make him a very good father. I was worried that having a family would delay his progress in his career.

In the end, we stood beneath the arch together as equals, best friends, and those lucky sims who are blessed with mutual, passionate love. Staring into those gray eyes, the question is not if I love him, but how I could keep myself from loving him.

His ring fit perfectly on my finger.

As we kissed, it seemed that the snowflakes transformed to heart-shaped petals and fluttered down, but we hardly noticed.

Thornton excused himself to go to the bathroom, but left a note that I should go into the little shack across the pond. When did we get a pond?

And there he was, my husband, sitting among the flowers. I couldn't keep myself from smiling, seeing the wedding photograph that adorned the wall already.

Some people are just so blessed in life, to find their other half. Now, with Thornton's arms around me, I feel that I am one of those fortunate people. No, I'm the most fortunate, because while others have their loves, I'm the only one who has Thornton.

  "Did you hear chimes?"

  "No, you?"

  "I guess we'll just have to try again . . ."

  "Oh, Thornton . . ."

Overall? It was a wonderful night for the heated, rapid love that never lasts, but is sweet to think back on.

While the others slept, Thornton and I decided to find as many places to Woohoo as possible.

We also took a few family-friendly photos to hang next to our wedding picture. The one on the upper-right is my favorite.

Oops. Nothing to see here, folks! I'm so happy to have my own private bathroom . . . I'd hate to scar Kaylynn and Alexander! And Agnes and Zelda, for that matter!

At last, back to the bed for one last wedding night love-fest.

Is it really any surprise that I ended up in the bathroom several hours later? Oh, it is so wonderful to be married!

Yay congrats!  I have the worst time trying to get beautiful wedding shots like yours.  You'll have to send me some tips.  My photographers always get distracted or try to sit down or take too long to get the camera out.  The winter wedding was perfect, and I'm happy to see the resurgence of the love shack :)

Don't ask me for tips; I usually get horrible pictures! This time, I finally just queued up "Get Married" and controlled Kaylynn the entire time so that she wouldn't walk away. I entered photo mode immediately, to make sure I wasn't too close or far away, then adjusted as much as I could to be perfect until the wedding started. Wow, maybe I do have some tips!

I'm so happy that I got to have a winter wedding with a "blue" Immortal, since blue + winter white = pretty! And who doesn't love a nice love shack?

For some reason, whenever I hear of Thornton Wolff, I think of the chocolates.

Chapter 5 - Welcome Baby ___

The boys have been spending every evening in front of the stereo to satisfy their manly self-esteem. It's quite cute, really, although they sometimes stay up past their bedtime.

Oh, and did I mention I picked out my maternity wear before my pregnancy was confirmed? When I finally did "the spin" a few days later, my sundress was already prepared and I rejoiced to feel the new life growing within my self.

Thornton also seemed happy when I told him as we cuddled on our bed. Happy, but apprehensive. I've heard gossip around town that my husband does not like children, but I refuse to believe that such a thing is possible.

At any rate, he quickly took over all household chores so that I had no reason for stress, and even wrote thank-you cards for all the wedding presents!

"Dear Mr. Langerak, it has come to my attention that you have been constantly writing love letters to and attempting to seduce my wife. Please cease immediately, or I will teleport you to Moonlight Falls and allow my cousins to exact their dubious justice. Thank you, Mr. Wolff.

He also sent me a lovely romantic Sing-A-Gram when I gained a little baby weight. The microphone broke halfway through the singer's performance, but 'twas a very thoughtful gesture!

Oh, and he bought me a gnome! Alex named him "Rock," which seems apt.

Meanwhile, I hired a butler named Latosha. Mainly just to keep the childish Zelda occupied, as she is easily bored after finishing with the garden.

I took advantage of my leave from work to continue supermaxing cooking--I'm already at over 40 meals! I also completed several cooking and gardening opportunities, bringing me closer and closer to immortality.

The baby ended up growing bigger and bigger--and, consequentially, making me bigger and bigger! I don't mind a bit, since my child will be strong and healthy once conceived. However, I don't particularly like being "larger" than my usual weight--it makes going around corners quite awkward!

Whenever my weight makes my back ache, Thornton magically appears to give me a massage. And they say I'm a witch . . .

I was in the kitchen once more when the pain erupted in my abdomen. Wildly, unable to walk, I looked around for help.

Zelda and the kids were having a snowball fight outside. The sound of snow and wind was enough to drown out any shouts for help.

Agnes was making a sculpture of Thornton in the studio, with the music turned up to full volume and the chainsaw whirring away.

Finally, Kaylynn came inside for a snack--and immediately started freaking out when I told her to go get Thornton. Thornton, Agnes--anyone, a hormonal teenage girl and hormonal pregnant woman is not a good combination!

Kaylynn finally calmed down--and took a picture of me in labor. Isn't that sweet of her? Now I'll be able to remember the moment of birth for centuries to come!

She then hurried out into the hallway to celebrate her young adult birthday! Oh, I feel so bad for missing this important moment in my--not daughter, let's go with foster niece--foster niece's life!

Presently, Thornton and Agnes came out of the studio to applaud Kaylynn's aging up.

At last, I felt the sparkles surround me and a smile crossed my face as I spun . . .

Thornton entered just in time to see his son enter the world.

Oh, dear, I had so hoped to leave with a cliffhanger, but I simply can't resist introducing you to my son! Meet the next heir of the Elysi Immortal Dynasty.

  Aww, nooboo . . .

Chapter 6 - The Giving and Receiving of Presents

Have I shown you Kaylynn's young adult wardrobe yet? Her favorite color is white, which really does suit her coloring, and I think her wardrobe choices really reflect her personality.

Her Aunt Zelda accompanied Kaylynn to graduation the day after her birthday. Kaylynn won Valedictorian and Most Artistic! We're so proud.

Thornton and I weren't able to spend much time together, since he was so busy with work, so we made sure to make some time for romance every day--even if "every day" refers to "past midnight." It is totally worth the lack of sleep.

Of course, Thornton also spends lots of time with his son. You probably want to know what his name is at this point . . . but what's the fun of just saying it? Let me give you a little hint--it's related to Snowflake Day holiday!

Alex also took care of his little "cousin" before leaving for school.

Speaking of Snowflake Day, I decided to build a little "extra" living-room and throw a gift-giving party! The family had a wonderful time, as did all of our guests.

Zelda ended up leaving early to interrogate Kaylynn's love interest, Michael. She didn't seem overly impressed by his passionate rendition of "Firework," but he seems like a very nice young man all the same.

Meanwhile, Alex was busy wooing his classmate, Bella. This particular teenage boy seems quite attracted to young ladies wearing white, for whatever reason.

Zelda got tired of talking to Michael and considered Christopher Steel a more attractive conversationalist.

In this picture, I believe Chris was bitten by a venomous snake of some sort, and Zelda is attempting to suck out the venom. I'm sure that's a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Agnes probably would have done something love-related, but she was a little busy letting off some steam. Jared Frio is going down!

Thornton and I decided to participate in a few . . . season-related recreational activities, shall we say.

We're planning to throw our own, private Snowflake Day celebration inside the bedroom. Sorry, I'd love for you guys to attend, but Thornton says it'll just be the two of us. I wonder what we'll do at our party--oh, wait a minute . . .

Oh, babies smell so good! All new, and fresh . . . and little Christmas-related nooboo smells just like a pine tree! I swear. Smell him if you don't believe me.

It looks like I've missed quite a few updates the last couple of days! The wedding and bachelorette party were awesome. You've got some great pieces of your founder! The wedding photo is beautiful, and the sculpture in the undies and pregnancy shot are hilarious, too! Haha! The blue themed house decor is quite pretty. Yay for Kaylyn and Alex! I never realized Thorton had grey eyes! I hope the nooboo gets them. Well, that was a whole lot of randomness, wasn't it? I'm enjoying this story. Thanks, I really enjoyed how wild they got. I'm trying to make the museum more . . . ah . . . "large" this time, to really show more of each life stage. I'm just glad that Kaylynn leveled in Photography early enough for the large portrait for a nice picture! I always love decorating a house in blue, and I think this decor really fits Serena's personality this time around. As for K&A, they've popped a few wishes for each other but nothing serious, and I kind of want to impregnate the town with cute little Alex clones, so we'll have to see. I'm surprised that no one knew about the grey eyes! You learn something new every day, right? I'm really enjoying writing from Serena's perspective, since she really is just so "silver-lining" about everything!

Well, that was another whole lot of randomness, wasn't it?

That was a cute update. :) Kaylynn and Michael? Nice!

K&M chose each other at Prom, so I suppose fate expressed itself! It really is fun to set Kaylynn up with all the little boys of Sunset Valley--Miraj, Michael, Mortimer . . . actually, she's been with all three in my dynasty attempts she participated in!

Chapter 7 - Love and the Toddler

Oh, but of course you want to hear more about the baby! He is the center of attention in our little household. A lineup of at least three is constantly in the nursery, and we had to get rid of Bonehilda just to reduce the amount of traffic!

I was overjoyed to hold my little boy up to the cake, blocking out the thought that, one day soon, he would no longer be so little.

It just so happened that my son and I shared a birthday, so we shared a birthday party as well! I'm sure nothing will change when I'm an adult--how could it, when I live such a happy life?

See? I look, and feel, wonderful--oh, no! Wrinkles! Wrinkles, wrinkles, wrinkles! The house is too small, the car is too cheap, my clothes are too old-lady, CHANGE IT ALL!

Oh, dear. I didn't handle that nearly as well as expected.

Here, look at these pictures of Nick while I go primp. Yes, Nick--but we usually call him by his full name, Nicholas. Isn't he adorable? With Thornton's hair, and my eyes--although I hear you all were rooting for my hair and Thornton's eyes! Both combinations are gorgeous, I'm sure.

I'm very pleased with his bright, sunny wardrobe, considering I hadn't been there to help him choose his clothing. Thornton had taken me "backstage" to assuage my age-related worries.

Do you see wrinkles? I do. Everywhere! Oh, this is just silly . . . there! Right above my mouth, I knew it!

Alex and Bella attended Prom together, although neither won crowns. While at the dance, Bella asked Alex to go steady! Isn't it just so very wonderful? Oh, to be young . . . and unlined . . . and vibrant . . .

Alexander aged into a Young Adult in front of the Science Center, where he intends to seek employment. He's already an expert fisherman, and quite a good gardener, so advancing through the Science career shouldn't be difficult him.

He aged rather . . . plump, and asked me to make him a Lean and Mean potion. He looks extremely handsome, if I do say so myself, and I confess to feeling an almost motherly pride for his Honor Roll achievement and incredible mastery of fishing. He certainly has grown from that chubby little boy with the funny hat who was dropped off at our house so long ago--although, I suppose that by the time I'm a hundred years old, a few weeks will no longer feel so very long!

After the heir was born, I walked around town thanking everyone who had sent their congratulations. I paid special attention to a certain young man--the recurring romantic interest, Michael Bachelor.

You see, I had discovered through Alex, who is dating Michael's sister, Bella, that Michael is currently in a steady relationship with a Claire Ursine, while also seeing Kaylynn "unofficially." In addition, the young Mr. Bachelor has been replacing Dustin Langerak as the most persistent writer of love letters--to me.

Now, usually I would be flattered, and laugh off this attraction as a sweet-natured joke. However, this Michael is hurting Kaylynn--or would be, if she wasn't so busy with her art that she barely leaves the house. And when some townie with an old-man haircut and loafers is hurting my Kaylynn--oh, dear, my Mama Bear side has emerged. I'll have to write Michael, the sweet young man, an apology note with a fruit basket--but still, it is simply not nice to go behind people's backs in ways of love! If this gets out of hand, I'll send Agnes and Zelda to deal with him; they're far more ruthless than I am, I fear.

Agnes has started writing a Children's novel called "The SMD." I believe that stands for "The Small Mean Dwarf," but it is impossible to be certain as dwarves are customarily both friendly and hospitable. At any rate, Agnes ended up joining the Writing career and is doing quite well.

Kaylynn is pursuing both sculpting and her architect career and excels in both. She really is such a talented young lady--far too good for a boy like Michael, who seems perfectly nice then acts like a--no, no, using such language is very unladylike.

Alex is pursuing interests of a rather . . . different kind.

I'm very happy for him and Bella, of course, but felt the need to draw him aside for a little chat all the same. "Alex, dear, is pre-marital Woohooing really a good idea? What about Bella's reputation? What if she gets pregnant?"

"Aunt Serena, I want to marry Bella, but there isn't enough room in the house! Isn't it better that we can be together, even if it does cause a little gossip?"

As a happily married woman, I can't very well argue with the ideal of being happily in love. Being a hopeless romantic, I can't very well argue with the ideal of love that can never truly be! Thornton feels the same way, I'm sure.

I taught little Nicholas the principles of love the following morning, being sure to stress that he must never, ever be a bad person and cheat on his beloved. I certainly hope little Nicky understood, as love does make the world go 'round. And no one can love many in the romantic way without hurting everyone involved--well, no one besides Freddie Classic, anyway. Freddie, Freddie, Freddie . . . you are just too wise.

Oh, you can really see the family resemblance! I'm lucky that my men are so handsome, and kind, and sweet, and just so wonderful in every way. Love, love, love!

Spotted seems rather curious about the newest addition to the family. Nicky, on the other hand, worships the prim little cat.

Just look at that sweet little face!

Did I mention that I mastered cooking? The certificate is proudly displayed in my museum, next the photograph of me going into labor. Ah, memories . . .

Oh, I feel horrible! All this talk about faithful love, and I was so upset over becoming older that I--I--I cheated on Thornton with Ian Bowler! And the night before Love Day, too . . .

After that betrayal, I was too ashamed to even Woohoo with my husband. Somehow, it just felt like taking advantage of him--and the beautiful wedding picture over our bed did nothing to soothe my guilt!

At his question, I confessed to cheating and nearly started crying. But Thornton understood immediately, and comforted me. He knew nothing serious had happened, and that we still loved each other with just as much passion.

Our relationship was mended, our marriage was saved, and I knew, for with firmer conviction than ever, that only Freddie Classic can practice in free romantic love. I also realized that friendly love will be enough for me, so long as Thornton is always by my side to supply me with the other kind.

Nicholas is adorable! Good genes. That was very hypocritical of Serena, I'm glad she was properly penitent. Hopefully Bella has a cute lil nooboo!

Curse the mid-life crisis! I probably should have just sent her in for counseling, after all . . . Alexander bought the Fertility Treatment before Trying for Baby, so hopefully there will be several little Alexander clones!

Nick looks like a great combination of his parents. I like that he got Thorton's hair! Ah, Serena, obsessing over her wrinkles. Hehe. I tend to ignore my sims midlife crisis wishes, or did Serena do that autonomously?
