Haha, awesome! Of course Mikayla was totally winning that fight. I mean, did you see what the other girl was wearing? How could she succeed at sim-fu with high-heels and a dress?  :P

I expect Azokka either to yell at everyone and totally dominate or else get out the popcorn.

I heartily approve of both of these ideas.

Yeah, haha, it took me all weekend. I freaked out when I read a few chapters back that you weren't gonna be able to finish! I'm so glad you are though. I started my own dynasty and I'd be devastated if I lost it after that much work.

Yes, I also freaked out at that point  ;) . Quite terrifying. I've added links to skip all the OMG the dynasty has ended! drama and go right to the next chapter.

Wow !! What a crazy update ! Save the day mikayla !! Great job and congrats to your 100 chapter !! This story is so cool ! Is your blue sim self on mikaylas side or the other lady ( to lazy to spell out name)?  I hope mikayla's! Bye

Thank you, I try  :) . I know, I'm so excited that I made it to 100! Mwahaha, you'll soon find out!

Go Mikayla! And everyone bow to the Dictator!

Hehehe, you've got that right!

Eeeeeee!  *jumps up and down in glee*  Darn you cliffhangers!!!  Need to see next part!!!

I do love a good cliffhanger. It makes me fiendishly delighted.

I expect Azokka either to yell at everyone and totally dominate or else get out the popcorn.

This comment amuses me to no end. I'm very seriously considering putting it in my signature! You know what, I am putting it in my signature. Right now. I love it.

What an wonderful update, and also indeed special. Congrats on your 100th chapter. Azokka simself was disturbed by the fight(she was working on computer last time), so she come down to yell at them and stop the fight. This might be the reason. And finally, we will see the full face of the simself. Waitng for next update.
Chetan.

Thanks! That's right, I hate it when my sims start making noise and disturb my gaming time. It is not good for my relaxation.

Wow! I definitely did not expect Mikayla to travel all the way to Lunar Lakes. Awesome fight with the alien. I hope your simself is good. After all, she is you. I can't wait to find out more!

Well, she does have a spaceship that's been passed down for two generations. You think my simself is good? Hahahahaha . . . she is my simself.

Haha, awesome! Of course Mikayla was totally winning that fight. I mean, did you see what the other girl was wearing? How could she succeed at sim-fu with high-heels and a dress?  :P

I heartily approve of both of these ideas.

Hey, I spent a great deal of time on her wardrobe! Besides, the spike is poisonous. And they're both masters of Sim Fu--I made needs static, went into buydebug, and spent nearly a week training them both until they reached level ten. Quite tiring, if you must know.

As do I!

Chapter 100.5 - Azokka's Tantrum

"What in the name of Avatar Aang do you think you are doing?" She said quietly, clearly on the edge of an all-out rage. "I was taking my first nap in weeks in your future house, and suddenly Percy says" she mimicked him in a high, singsong voice "oh no, Overlord, there are two women fighting in Lunar Lakes! And of course, since Percy is useless, I have to come down and fix this myself!"

"Who is Percy?" Mikayla asked cheerfully, clearly unaware that she was in serious danger of having her behind roasted.

"Who? What? Oh, Percy--he's that gent right over there. My date. Say hi to the people, Percy!"

"Erm, I'm not really sure of what--"

"Don't strain yourself, sweetie. Composting and flowers. Stick to what your mind can comprehend."

  "Yes, ma'am."

"PERCY YOU HAVE DISTRACTED ME FROM MY RAGE! Where was I?"

"They woke you up from your nap?"

  "Oh, yes. Good boy."

"YOU WOKE ME UP FROM MY NAP!"

Zykara shifted nervously from foot to foot. She had seen what happens when Azokka is angry. "I was only following your orders! You told me to invade Sunset Valley if the dynasty doesn't start making some serious progress, and--"

"Did I give you permission to speak? No, no, no! You have nearly eliminated the dynasty in that little stunt you pulled earlier! I told you to install mods in the Moonstone game, and somehow you screwed up my entire computer! I could have terminated you after that, but I did not, because you are my most powerful, ruthless general."

"I am honored by your praise, Overlord, but--"

"DID I GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO SPEAK?"

  "N-n-no, Overlord."

"Zzzzt! Silence! I will deal with you later. If you thought Sunlit Tides was bad . . . let's just say that you should swallow your pride if you don't want to be demoted to cleaning latrines in Aurora Skies."

"Yes, Overlord. I'll follow your orders to the letter."

"Yes. You will. Now go change Percy's diaper, he's had another accident."

"Mikayla, Mikayla! I'm very pleased to see you. Nice job snagging Jerry, I've been trying to pair you up since he was a toddler."

"I've known you since I was a little kid. I heard you like my grandparents did after they became immortal. I knew what you were thinking. You created the butterflies."

"Yes, I did. Your brain is different from the others--it created a subconscious connection to me, the Watcher. I created the butterflies you so often see to close off that connection, keep it from driving you completely insane. There are some things no one can comprehend, and you were too young to ignore them."

"But that isn't important, now. This encounter was a lapse in judgment in one of my underlings, but in a way it's also a blessing. I needed to tell you something. Something essential to the survival of this universe. Every universe that I control."

"Okay," she said with as much seriousness as she could muster, but a grin was already lighting up her face. Mikayla loved nothing more than to be a hero, simply because she wanted to save people. She loved to be good.

"I am Thana Azokka, Mikayla. The Dark, the Death, the Tyrant--I am the embodiment of this side of my personality. But Light Azokka has been lost, and now I am unbalanced. The light and dark are unbalanced. Light Azokka is the Dreamer, the Fantasy, the Writer--without her, the universe will fold on itself and collapse. And as lovely as that sounds, it would probably be bad in the long run."

"What does that have to do with me?"

"You'll find out, Mikayla. You have all eternity to find out. Now, go chat with Percy now that he's clean."

"And then the spaceship lightbulb came down and smashed into the chicken egg! And the chicken said, What came first, the chicken or the egg? Even though it's obviously the chicken!"

"Please! Can we just talk about composting?"

"Zykara, I am in an unusually good mood. Island Paradise is due to come in the next few days, I'm having fun with the Moonstones, and the seventh generation is already a teen in-game. Because of this, I'm going to allow you to return to your duties immediately."

"Thank you, Overlord. You are most generous."

"Yes, I know. You will return to your spaceship tomorrow. Until then, changing Percy's litter and diaper is your responsibility."

"But know this . . . if you ever disobey my orders again, you should have your will written up beforehand and a parka, because deep space is supposed to be cold this time of year. Dismissed!"

  "Overlord . . . it happened again!"

Thana Azokka smiled fiendishly. "Zykara, I assume you'll handle that. I'm going to go have a chat with Franco Wolff-Cruz about his idea of respecting a marriage."

Zykara Ludaris waited for the Watcher to leave before turning to Mikayla. "Don't think you're out of the clear, butterfly girl. I won't forget that you made me look like a fool in front of Azokka. I'll be watching you."

"I'll be watching you right back, alien. And I have a laser cannon."

She returned to her spaceship and set the coordinates for home. There was a birthday party she simply could not miss.

Oh my gosh I love it! And I love your sim self. She takes pity for Percy in a cute way, yet she cares about him but not, you know what I mean. I totally don't like Zykara Ludaris ! Mikayla should tell azokka so that azokka gets rid of her *pouts face*! Anyway other than that what an interesting update and its really cool the way you portray the overlord Azokka  ;)! Haha, :)

Great update and what an awesome story. My guess was right, azzoka will yell at the alien, since she is the watcher of this dynasty, she couldn't yell at Mikayla. I will be loving the island paradise part in this story if by any means added in this story. And whose birthday occur at that  day, Jerry? Can't wait for next update.

First, I am honoured to see my quote in your signature. I have decided to make this a game and see how many different quotes I can get into different signatures >:D

Second, (to be read in the voice of Lauren Cooper--look her up if you don't know Catherine Tate) are you disrespecting the house of Dojo? I am highly affronted at this treatment of poor Percival. If it weren't for the fact I have just learned about this delightful two-sided Watcher (and you know how I feel about multi-sided Watcher personas) I would absolutely not stand for it. :P

Third, muahaha I was right. Although I was secretly hoping for popcorn.

Poor Percy. He is quite pitiful. Are you kidding? Azokka loves Zykara because she's evil and mean and doesn't like people! She reminds me so much of myself . . .

I LOVE your Simself, Azokka!  That whole update was just awesome!  Hehehehe, can't wait to find out more about Light and Dark Azokka!

Haha, I love her too. She's an interesting little kid. Don't worry, you will find out more! Not soon, but you will!

Who knew child-tyrants were so fun? The Elysi Dynasty and Moonstone Legacy are my official favorite stories because of your Watcher-persona.

I did! Wow, that's a wonderful compliment, with all the great stories and dynasties on this forum!  ;D

I have never seen such terrified expressions on Percival's face! Haha! I especially love the one where Mikayla is talking insane nonsense to him. Butterflies do make a wonderful distraction from the truth. And another Azokka simself? Can't wait to see that!

My sims tend to have that affect on the sims of other watchers. Percy really is such an emotive sim! He constantly makes me crack up--especially that close-up puppy-dog face. Hehehe . . . you have no idea. I'm very, very pleased with the Azokka simself. She has given me the greatest idea in the history of simkind. Well, maybe not the greatest idea . . . fifth-greatest, for sure!

Great update and what an awesome story. My guess was right, azzoka will yell at the alien, since she is the watcher of this dynasty, she couldn't yell at Mikayla. Oh, no, she can still yell at Mikayla! I yell at whoever I want to yell at  >:( . All shall be revealed in the next update!

First, I am honoured to see my quote in your signature. I have decided to make this a game and see how many different quotes I can get into different signatures >:D

Third, muahaha I was right. Although I was secretly hoping for popcorn.

It's your own fault for having such memorable quotes! I am proud to display it in my signature for the rest of eternity.

I only knew Lauren Cooper from her time on Doctor Who, but--hahaha. I got Rhoxi's permission to use Percy, but I probably also should have asked for permission to humiliate him, as fun as it was. Not disrespecting the house of Dojo--but Percy is just too darn cute to be taken seriously.

Of course you were right! In my defense, I shot all of this a long, long time ago so I wasn't able to take readers' opinion into account.

I like how we never see your watcher self's face it's always the back of her head.  :D

Thanks for noticing! I spent lots of effort on that. You can't see her face until the Light Watcher has arrived. It's quite dramatic, hm?

Chapter 101 - Not Enough

The spaceship docked just as the guests were leaving. I had done the calculations on the way home--thanks to the time-warp between the Earth and Lunar Lakes, I had been gone for three days (one day to get there, one day of fighting, one day to return) as I perceived it, but to the people at home I had disappeared for only a few hours. At any rate, the butterflies had waited, and they sparkled around me, overjoyed that I had returned.

Now I really look just like Mama. I wonder why people get wrinkles. Mama says it's because our skin produces less collagen as we get older, but I think wrinkles are holes in the fabric of the universe, and as we get older we get closer and closer to falling into those holes and becoming one with the universe.

My conversation with Azokka, or Thana Azokka, or the Watcher, was intriguing. Another Watcher? Or, as she had put it, the other half. That, along with what Zykara had mentioned in her attempt to bring me over to her side--Thana Azokka had her general, the leader of her forces, the chief advisor. It's reasonable that the Light Azokka would also need a general. And could that possibly be me, someday?

For me, that isn't the most pressing concern. You see, the Watcher has been Watching, and she is not happy. Her instructions to not speak with the ghosts have been ignored. And there will be consequences.

And so people began to disappear . . . first Grandma Bree, then Grandma Serena, and Grandma Kara, finally Grandpa Nick. Through infrequent texts, we learned that they had been transported to an underground facility made up of small, identical cubicles. They are kept in a half-trance state, rocking or watching TV. Only Grandma Serena is at all lucid, and she spends her time practicing her witchcraft.

We were worried sick, of course, but at the same time . . . it was kind of nice to have some time alone with Jerry without having to check up on the grandparents all the time. Isn't that a horrible thing to say? I could always tell at a glance what condition they were in--faded color meant they were tired, sharp-edged: tired, blurry: needed to use the bathroom or shower, dull: bored. But I couldn't monitor what they were doing, and their minds are so far gone they could destroy the dynasty without even noticing.

So, for the first time since before Cleo died, Jerry and I went out. By ourselves. On a date that lasted more than an hour. And my parents could have their alone time, too.

You may be interested in knowing that one of us vomited regularly that night--however, it wasn't me. Wouldn't it be awesome if Jerry was pregnant? How cool would that be? But--he isn't.

I swear, if there was room for nine in a household we would have created a baby then and there. Spontaneously. Not even trying.

We had a wonderful night dancing away to one of those old bands, the one with the name that sounds like a bug. They're Jerry's favorite group. I just love dancing with Jerry. Grandma Bree always used to say that a man who can dance instantly becomes the sexiest man in the room, and I completely agree.

He's such a perfect person, right? Those smiling lips, a perfectly formed nose, and liquid black eyes with little white sparkles . . . he's only gotten better with age.

Mama and Daddy soon showed up, but they were far too busy trying to make me a sibling to notice our efforts to create a grandchild. Is that too much information? I never can tell.

In due time, the couples split up and we all made pleasant conversation. Jerry's something of an amateur nerd, so he and Mama excitedly discussed brands of toothpaste.

Daddy and I laughed about the birthday party I had come so close to missing. Apparently, Jerry had to perform an impromptu version of his old acrobat show to keep the guests from leaving! Daddy then led them in singing old favorite, "Oogie Oogie Ooh."

Varg's Tavern kicked us all out at around three in the morning, so we headed home after a day of fun, pure and simple.

The next morning, I asked Mama to meet me down at the beach after breakfast. We arrived, only to discover that it was snowing! How on earth did that happen? Winter? Already? It was only last winter that Jerry was surprising me with holiday lights!

"Sorry, Mama--I guess we'll have to go swimming another time."

"What are you talking about, sweetheart?" She laughed, a little twinkle in her eye. "I may be hold, but you're never too old to join the Polar Bear Club."

She beat me into the water, but only because I was trying to decide on the best outfit to wear. Everyday? No, the shoulders would freeze. Sleepwear? I can't sleep in wet clothes! Athletic? No, it's made of silk. Swimwear is way too obvious--wait! I've got it!

We played in the water, our tailbones freezing off, for hours. The entire swim is kind of a blur--cold water, cold air, cold feet, and warm hearts. Hearts blazing like the sun. And pupils that are stars in the iris's dark embrace.

I gave her a big hug on the edge of the water, still in my formalwear. I mean, if there's one thing no one expects, it's for someone to wear their formalwear while swimming!

I couldn't see her expression, but I imagine it was something happy. Happy, and warm, with a mother's pride and a fellow immortal's victory.

We walked back up the hill together, then went to find our husbands and warm up.

Of course, Mama and Daddy had to get their fun over with quickly because they had to drive to Mama's ceremony! She won the Medical Trophy of Valor for helping out in so many court cases and political debates. Isn't that just wonderful?

The remainder of the day was pure bliss, which was good. Mama and Daddy spent their time dancing, talking, and kissing.

Jerry and I concentrated our efforts a little more. We're slightly younger, with slightly more energy.

This year, we all got to help hang the orange lights. Mama and Daddy took care of the smaller houses, while Jerry and I climbed up onto the roof of the main house and strung lights like our lives depended on it.

So yes, the two days before Daddy died were beautiful, wonderful days with more happiness than sadness, and no sadness at all. But that wasn't enough to stop the pain, and it certainly wasn't enough to cure it.

I expect Azokka either to yell at everyone and totally dominate or else get out the popcorn.-Ombradellarosa

Thanks for all the comments! They're all very similar in essence, so I'll just say:  :'( . Yes, Bubba died.

Chapter 102 - Sauna in the Snow

They had just kissed each other good night and climbed into bed when it happened. Mama heard a soft little sigh as she was drifting off to sleep, and she turned her head to see that he had risen up, almost floating. His body died and became ghostly as she watched.

Iris Bianca Elysi is a doctor. She's seen dozens of people die as she tried to save them, and she let the families mourn while trying to save the next patient instead of moping after the last. Dr. Elysi is professional, detached, and tireless. My mother is the exact opposite.

The last two things in the world Daddy saw were his wife, and a picture of his daughter that he had taken. Then he dissolved into gray mist.

And Mama cried, and cried, and couldn't stop crying. She felt like she had when Bianca had died all those years ago, when Grandpa Brandon died when she was just a little girl at the festival. All of that pain, but infinitely worse.

She finally went to sleep, on his side of the bed, and pretended that the still-warm blankets were his arms around her.

I didn't know until morning. But I must have felt something, because that night I held Jerry close and didn't let go, as if afraid that he would melt away into the mist.

Rest in Peace, Bubba. Fan Favorite. Watcher's Favorite. A truly wonderful spouse and father. You died seconds away from turning 110.

The elders were the first to know, as they left their cubicles for Ambrosia. They had gone through the same exact pain and loss, so they had comforting words to offer, and knew that the comforting words meant nothing. There is pain that never goes away, and is barely numbed by the passing of two-hundred and fifty years, as Grandma Serena knows only too well.

My great-grandmother held my mother as she broke down in the sacred room where the Ambrosia is held, while the other elders looked on or looked down.

Everyone has a different way of managing their grief. Me? I run. I am an astronaut, a warrior, a military general, the one who halted the alien invasion of Sunset Valley, the youngest person to reach the very top of the military. And I can run for fifteen hours at a time, until my muscles collapse and I can't breathe.

But even fifteen hours of sprinting on a treadmill isn't nearly enough.

I found her standing alone in the snow, and I did my very best to comfort her. I had lost my father, but she had lost her husband. I had come to terms with losing Daddy after unleashing my alien technology on the Spring Festival, but I couldn't begin to imagine losing Jerry.

But somehow the words turned to tears, and tears became sobbing, and then Mama was telling me that it would all be okay was if I was a kid again and had scraped my knee.

She went back into her little house, and I returned to Level B2 to start trying to cheer myself up. Grandma Bree had passed down the mascot costume through the years, and I had always wanted to try it out but never had the opportunity. Now seemed the perfect time to take up my birthright.

Jerry knew something was wrong when he came home to find a llama backflipping in the basement.

Actually, that was a semi-normal occurrence--he knew something was wrong when he came home to find me walking through the house in my everyday dress.

I told him quite calmly what had happened, and he nodded, lifting my hand to his face comfortingly. "It'll be okay, Mikayla. We'll get through this, and see him again at the end."

And so, while Mama played chess all alone for the first time since her young adult birthday . . .

We snuggled in the sauna while the snow fell. "Do you want to do this?" he asked, turning his head to look at me.

  "Now? After everything--"

"Yes, after everything." He answered firmly. I love it when he's like that, frankly it's adorable. "Nothing will help you more than to have a child, your father's grandchild. You know it's what he would have wanted."

"You don't have to convince me." I stood up, pouring more water on the coals. "I want a baby just as much as you do."

  "Girl or boy?"

"Girl, of course! Don't be so silly, Jer-bear."

"But don't you like it when I'm silly?"

  "I absolutely love it."

After trying several times and hearing chimes, Jerry froze and fell over like a human popsicle. Isn't that just too cute? Like a little puppy with panda eyes.

"Bubba, you know it was your turn to clean the bathtub!"

  Silence.

"All right, all right, you don't need to look at me like that. I'll get it this time, but you'd better not flake out on me again, mister!"

I expect Azokka either to yell at everyone and totally dominate or else get out the popcorn.-Ombradellarosa

Out of all of the passings I have read in this dynasty, Bubba's has to be the most difficult yet. He was such a fun character, from flirty genie to perfect dynasty spouse to super-dad.

On a more positive note, I can't believe that generation 7 is on its way. I can't believe that the dynasty is nearly complete!

Great update. So sorry about Bubba that he has to pass away, while Iris remains. Maybe after the completion of the dynasty, we can again see him. The pic of Mikayla backflipping as a llama was nice. Now, it is time for the birth of the 7th generation heir. And, I also can't believe that this dynasty is coming to an end soon.
