It's dark in Bridgeport at 2:30 PM

Why is it dark when it should be light? Did I mess up a setting or something?

I had the same problem with Bridgeport. It would be dark in the middle of the day and at night it was a total blackout. I could barley make out the shapes of the buildings in town. I stopped playing that town because of it.
The only thing I found that helped some was to clear my cache files and that would help for a few sim days then it would go right back to being dark again.

Thanks for the reply. Clearing the cache helped some but it's still not bright and sunny. Does the sun ever shine in Bridgeport?

Some towns are just naturally darker and Bridgeport is one of them. It doesn't really get sunny there like it does in Sunset Valley.

I use Bridgeport and enjoy it.  Once in a while it has days that are a bit darker but for the most part it's mostly bright days.  I find the night is fine.  I don't find it hard to see at all.  I find Twinbrook has more darker days than average.  I think because it's a swamp.  I suppose towns may vary on different computers regarding monitor settings also.

I am playing Bridgeport, and yes it can be pretty dark at daytime. I've attributed it to the high rise buildings shading off all the sunlight or something. But its pretty touch when it comes to taking screenshots :s.

It couldn't have been the high rise buildings, I lived on the hill over the bridge and it was dark there. Maybe smog?
