Well, Samoht is backwards for thomas...   samoht|thomas
The 04 is my birthday, September 04 1996. I use that a lot since Sims 3 came, in Sims 2 I was playjmurp which stands for Play, J, Murphy. I had no idea why I put J it just sounded right, Murphy was my dog who was epic!  :D But he was put down 2 years ago.  :'( Play stands for Play. Overall I have weird random names before samoht04. Like crazymonkey...

My reason for my name is boring, they are my initials. Before I married my initials were LaM, when I joined on here I was thinking at the time "why didn't I keep my maiden name too so my initials would have been LaMB so that's what I used as my username but after a few weeks I changed it to LaB.

I like your user name, LaB! It's cool, and reminds me of a sciency theme.

In other words: where did your name came from? Why did you choose that one?
Thank you Telsey for putting the idea of this topic somehow in my head.

Funny you should ask. My username came from Megaman ZX when I saw the "Masters" of the game. Siwel is my last name backwards. At least that was the initial origin. Several years later I picked up the name yet again because of one of my flight information thingies said "Master Lewis" which is when I "Readopted" my username.
As an extra bonus I'll even tell you where Bellom27 came from and one step better even Professor Bellom. There are two sides of the origin. Bellom was the name of Ms. Bellom from the powerpuff girl series (as I am a Tokusatsu freak, I.E godzilla, power rangers, kamen rider etc.) and the other part was when I was join a hello kitty forum just so that I could play HKO. I thought the name up quickly and thought it was a good stick. ProfessorBellom came from the GPX/GTS forum, where I played a persona known as "Professor Bellom". Me leaving the forums was another reason I adopted MasterSiwel as that "era" had ended. And now you know the origins of my username.

Oh, wow! Thanks for the fun flashback. I loved that show. My almost 15-year-old daughter was really into them when it was hot. I'll still pull this on her out of the blue to make her laugh: "Use the Dynamo or you're all grounded!"

I'm one year younger than 15 and I still love that show. If the Dynamo was still intact it would've been power rangers all over again. I actually wouldn't mind that.

Can we also share where we got and why we use our pictures?

In my opinion, that might be going a little farther than we care to go.  Maybe to just stick to the orginal thread here or maybe talk about that sort of thing on the babble thread.  If I am wrong and someone says it is ok, then that is fine. ;D

You mean your avatar choice? That's no biggie if you want to give a sentence or two on that, but I have no idea what you mean by "where we go." I'm assuming it's unrelated to your forum name, so like Salty said, post about that stuff in the Babble thread.

I see. So, where we got our avatar? Not really important where it came from — i.e. the avatar site/source, but like I said, if you just want to say what your avatar is, that's fine.

When we first got connected to the internet my twins were only about 18 months old and being a mother of twins pretty much defined who I was back then. So it seemed natural to use Twinmum. I can't always get just Twinmum, so I have used Oz_Twinmum, Twinmum_Too and a few variations. Of course now I am a bit more than just the mother of twins, I'm a mother of 4, a grand mother, a bit of a Stephen King expert, a miniaturist and other things, but the name Twinmum just sticks.

Ah, ok.  Gotcha then, I understand now. ;D

Mine's a golden eagle. It's my favorite bird.  :) I plan on changing it every month to a different animal for fun. I think, for September, I'd like to do a african elephant.
