I've never really done any photography in any of my sims games, but since the new tablet came my sim's maxed out on photography and took some nice pictures! Here's some.

Really like the Lighthouse one!  :) Can't wait for my Dynasty Spare to max it out so I can decorate my house with some of my own pics as well.

I am inspired by this to make my own unique museum. I am going to make a room in a museum dedicated to certain special sims... like Bella Bachelor, or Mortimer Goth, Agnes Crumplebottom, etc. mainly sims featured in other games. Who do you think I should feature?

*bump*

I had a huge gem collection in a legacy I was doing but it's rather bugged right now.  I supposed I could still load them up and take some pics!  I will try to do that and post it. :)

awesome SingleMomSim!  I love how its not just the gemstones but I can see around the room paintings, flowers, World Adventure stuff, potions etc.  I was trying this same thing and then that game had a fit and doesn't work so well.  :(  but seeing yours I want to start up again!

Yeah, I try to collect everything!  Paintings, sculptures, gems, flowers, anything that can be grown, WA stuff, inventions.  EVERYTHING.   I was collecting space rocks until the heir got pregnant with aliens three times and I found out that the reason the aliens were visiting was because of the number of rocks I had on the property!

But now that family is bugged. :(  So I've started a new one!

I thought I'd share my WA collection gathered while attempting the Artiste Challenge I designed. It's all the Chinese, Egyptian, and France tomb collectibles, plus some artifacts in gold, clay, stone, etc. It was tough finding a few, but definitely worth it ;D

Well look at all this! I always collect but yet I keep them spread out everywhere in my sims house....kinda messy. I am now going to try this method out!

I have to show off the Rosario family treasure trove:

The layout of the basement level. The majority is taken up by the treasure trove of gems, bugs and relics, but there is also a time traveling machine in its own chamber, a private nectar tasting spot on the upper right, a collection of perfect fish in the aquarium, a movie screen behind the fishies, a private spa/bathroom on the lower right, and a nectar maker stashed in the sculptor's studio.

I'm collecting the skull cuts of all gems... Once I've completed that, I think I'll make "themed rooms" in this neat museum I downloaded, and make large versions of every cut of gem. So you can walk through the Gem Halls - the Ruby Room, the Emerald Suite, the Septarian Nodule Nodule... okay, maybe I need to work on my marketing. (Possibly I will make this endeavor a second home, rather than a public place? Not sure...) I tried to put the skull cuts in color order from warm to dark.

A closer look at the full museum. The backmost displays= France tomb relics on the upper left, Egyptian tomb relics in the middle, Chinese tomb relics on the right, and my transfiguration station on the, er, rightmost right. (Please ignore my wayward gnome. I guess he wants to visit China!) The foreground displays= Dropa stones/Chinese vases on the left, Zodiac Animals & Canopic Jars on the right with stacks of compendium ingots for added fun. As for the single pedestals -- the outmost ones are bugs, and the inmost ones are butterflies.

Another angle (back left)...

A cool view of the museum left foreground...

The museum right foreground (please note the photo of Death making peace signs in front of an aquarium, so kind of him to cooperate with my Sims)

And before you go-

Lil buddies! I think they're going through lifecycles on me. I have a little gnome grave, and little baby gnomes, and a little emo teen gnome. They're a lively bunch. Still missing a few, I think.

If I need to take some pictures out or the post is too big please let me know and I can change these to thumbnails!

Wow.......just wow. My breath is completely taken away by same of the pictures I have seen. And I was so proud of my plain vanilla Riverview collection - albeit all collected by one Sim, who was also working at maxing out every Career path, and had mastered every skill, including the skill challenges (OK, only the base set). *blushing*

I really wish I could have posted the pics anyway, but this weekend past I finally managed to get my paws on WA and Island Paradise (IP?), and guess what happened? There I go happily to my original sim's house after installing, only to find that all of the insects and some of the gems have disappeared:'(
So I thought "stuff this" and took my original sim's daughter to Isla Paradiso, where she is currently building my new collection, now featuring relics.

Will post pics of the Chinese relics, as soon as they're finished.
