I don't know of any sure solutions to it. But until we find one, I'm okay with counting the days.

Is this your last town? If not, how far away is a move?

I'm still in the first town, but I'm on my 4th heir. I still have to wait for heir 2 and 3 to pass before I can move.

When this happened to me it was due to young again potions. I was on my last heir in my 3rd town and was allowed to count. Moving set things back to normal. Best of luck.

Thanks, I'm happy to know when I move I won't have the problem anymore.

My fourth heir was killed by a meteor before he finished his requirements. Do I have to start over?

I guess it's a good thing I started another 4x4 at the same time. :) Are the moving heirs allowed to take their cameras? My 4th heir is a photographer and I wanted to keep his camera. Do the cocktails from mixology count towards the family collection?

No keeping the camera.

Cocktails sound okay for the collection. Not like they're worth much, but neither are logic potions.

I finally finished town 1!  :) :) I do have one issue, one of my tombstones disappeared. I was moving them to the family inventory and it just vanished. I do have a picture of the 4, but I can't seem to find it.

Good job! Tough to hear about the disappearing tombstone. It happened to one of my founders (!) during one of my attempts.

I can't seem to get away from the issues. My 7th heir is not getting any opps, she gets some celebrity opps but they are ones others have done already.  I had her switch jobs so I'm hoping that generates some but if it doesn't what can I do? My sims aren't aging at first it was just two but now it's the whold house.

@bluebelle: I'm so sorry for missing your reply. :(

I know that early town moves have been signed off for other players in the past. It sounds like this world is glitching out...though have you tried moving the family to the clipboard and back into the neighborhood first?

If that doesn't work, let's talk.

I tried moving them to the clipboard first with the house and it didn't work and then I tried it with another house and that didn't work. Only one sim can age up with the cake. In a separate game file I used the age triggeration on the toddler, adult, and elder to age/expire them.

I am a little uncomfortable with using cheats to force-kill the sometimes-pesky elders, even if it's the only way other than changing worlds.

On a somewhat unrelated note, for whenever a world move happens (either now or at the normal time), I'd recommend moving them the "old" way, i.e. saving the family to the library and putting them in a new file. Sounds like this save should be nuked. :P

So, returning to the main topic, how possible do you think it is to have a normal-ish save using cheats to age the family up? I'd be a tiny bit more okay with that than an early world move, but sometimes it's just not worth it to stick around!

I just wanted to add that if you do use the save to the library move option, be sure to take note of the weeks and days of the old file so you can add them to the fresh start so your time elapsed is accurate.

My main concern is the heir who is not aging, he is an elder and he should have maxed is age bar already. The current heir has thankfully not been affected and I'm hoping her child won't either. The other problem sims I can move out.

@bluebelle: If there's only one real problematic sim, then no reason to abandon the file over it. You can force-kill him with cheats.

I really can't win with this aging bug. I let my problem heir finally meet the grim and now the last heir won't age up his bar is frozen. Some townies aren't aging as well so I'm guessing the town has a problem as well.
