Have you tried exiting your game, clearing caches, and restarting?

I cleared the caches but the ages are still messed up.

You could put them up for adoption. It stinks if you want to keep them, but it's the most legal thing I can suggest.

I figured I would have to. Oh, well, maybe we can get another pet (pets are wonderful for keeping elders busy).

I just completed my Immortal Dynasty. While I was playing I thought a lot about how much more difficult this would have been in the early days with so many fewer skills and careers available, and without Supernatural's elixirs. I have so much admiration for those early players.

Congratulations Krae, is that a full collection of Sims 3 dynasty challenges under your belt now?

Thanks! And, yes, I've completed all five. OCD is good for something.

Hi, guys, I'm considering doing Nectar Making for next generation's supermax but I've heard that the vizard skill challenge bugs out. What should I do if that happens and how does it happen? Thanks!

Nutella helped me a lot with this (I think in the Life states thread fairly recently) and her method worked for me. It doesn't always though, but I've seen people get permission to count it as completed. Keep good count of bunches of French grapes used just incase.

Yes, we do give permission to count it, but I'd like you to make sure that you do everything right first:

- Use only French grapes.
- Have your nectar maker plant and harvest them (if you already have an immortal who supermaxed gardening, you can get it done by planting common grape varieties and using some automated way of watering them so that they don't needlessly skill up in gardening. Just plant and harvest when ready).
- Don't travel.
- Keep a close count on how many you use.

Thanks for the input, you two. I'll keep all of that in mind. The heir's loving nectar-making so far, now we just have to deal with the broken family tree.

Are we allowed to have the water wheel from the Old Mill set, it'll save time going to the graveyard for deathfish? Also, this may not be allowed but I wanted to ask to make sure, can you convince non-household sims to try for baby with each other?

I don't know about the water wheel. It was never discussed. While I have it, would you mind explaining how the mechanics work in relation to getting deathfish?

The "Convince to Try for Baby" interaction comes with Twallan's Woohooer. It's not a part of an unmodded game. So no.

My sim just went fishing at the Wheel and caught random fish including deathfish during the day - this was on a test save just to see what I could catch.

Oh, I was wondering why I didn't have that interaction any more, oops.
