Done!

52 perfect recipes = 52,000
42 perfect plants = 42,000
39 perfect fish = 39,000

Total score = 133,000

I have been playing Sims 3 since it was released but its only through these challenges that I am discovering new things in the game. My choices were always similar and predictable but doing these is making me discover how cool this game is all over again. Thanks guys  :D

Oh no! I am two sim weeks into my challenge and my male sim has been abducted...now he's pregnant lol...what do I do?   ???

I scanned the rules and didn't see anything about alien abductions...I see that there cannot be additions to the household....am I disqualified or can I return the baby to its home world and keep going?

Thanks!

Hehe…I think you are okay with returning the baby to the home world immediately and continuing.

Right after the Handiness one closes.

The boss might get around to telling team challenge what it is before then  ;)

Babies... in a 4 week event?  :o

I'm only 3 days into this event and I'm already realizing there's some major timing things that have to fall into place for me to get even 90%+ of the perfects. Maybe I should've done some more planning...

Here's hoping everyone has a lag-free perfect game :D

It's been decided that:

  • Mermadic Kelp Reward.

needs to be banned. I am sorry about doing this late in the game if you used this trick and posted your score already. You have the team's permission to redo your effort if that is the case.

Well I did much better than I anticipated!!

Perfect Fish = 34 X 1000 = 34000
Perfect Plants = 43 X 1000 = 43000
Perfect Meals = 34 X 1000 = 34000

Total = 111000

How odd that I finished with the same number as the Royal Flush Challenge!! I eagerly await the next challenge  ;D! Hopefully it is something that I am better at, lol!

Fred Herring and his lady friend set off to perfect their respective talents and ended up with

28 perfect fish
30 perfect recipes
6 perfect plants

for a total of 64,000.

Perhaps instead of Bri Biscotti I should have named Fred's lady friend Tallulah Tulip for a better gardening score.

Alright, since it's been banned, may I ask what said trick is? The rules already state that the sims have to be human and can never change life states. And I've never run across any kelp recipe, either.

My final score is:
21 plants - 21,000
18 recipes - 18,000
31 fish - 31,000

Total score: 70,000

I had this happen too!  I've never had one abducted in TS3 either and the first time I do, it's in a challenge and I had to send it back  :(

I had a lot of fun and am happy with my score, but it could have been better as I made a few mistakes early on.

Perfect Plant: 55 x 1000 = 55,000
Perfect Fish: 34 x 1000 = 34,000
Perfect Recipes: 59 x 1000 = 59,000

For a total score of 148,000

Perfect Fish   --  38,000
Perfect Plants - 52,000

Total:               128,000

Future sims are going to have to be content with Autumn Salad for a while.

My fisherman did really great, but I could have done more planning with my chef/gardener... But I'm still proud of my score!

Perfect Fish: 34 X 1000 =       34000
Perfect Recipes: 20 X 1000 =  20000
Perfect Plants: 18 X 1000 =    18000
Total =  72000

This is the first challenge I played, and it was fun! But it was a little harder than it seemed...

31 fish:        31000
25 plants:    25000
28 recipes:  28000

Total: 84000
