Ok, I've been working with my PC for six months tryig to get a sustainable game going, I think we have a winner with this one.  I will be following my own Legacy Rules as I find the official ones too stifling.  The rules are:

Only biological  children can be heir.
The names of the next generation will be based on the the current one career (to an extent)
The legacy lot shall be a (I think) 35x25 as the 60x60 tends to slow down my game
Because I can no longer run Story Progression, :'( Spouses may be created or brought in from sub-hoods
Every Heir (founder excluding) Must have a college degree (Even if they won't use it)
LTW are not required to be met
Only one heir can partake in a career, spouses are not limited

St. Nick Family Tree !Spoiler Alert!

The Heirs are as follows:

Generation One: Christmas

Founder: Rudolph St. Nick
Loves to Swim, Heavy Sleeper, Slob, Flirty, Social Butterfly (later changed to Unlucky)
Career: Self-Employed Scuba Diver

Spouse: Noel (Everest) St. Nick
Family Oriented, Hopeless Romantic, Irresistible, Ambitious, Friendly
Career: Lifegaurd

Generation Two: The Sea

Heir: Marina St. Nick
Slob, Artistic, Athletic, Natural Born Performer, Socially Awkward, Ambitious, Avant Garde
Career: Singer

Spouse: Candy (Ashleydale) St. Nick
Charismatic, Family-Oriented, Kleptomaniac, Excitable, Bookworm, Good Sense of Humor
Career: Fortune Teller (Scam Artist Branch)

Third Generation: Famous Singers

Heir: Britney St. Nick
Genius, Virtuoso, Slob, Heavy Sleeper, Can't Stand Art, Loner
Career: Music (Symphonic Branch)

Spouse: Justin (St. Nick) St. Nick
Computer Whiz, Never Nude, Handy, Bookworm, Loner, Eco-Friendly, Friendly
Career: Video Game Designer (Engineer Branch)

Fourth Generation: Composers

Heir: Beethoven St. Nick
Night Owl, Good, Excitable, Loves the Cold, Virtuoso, Artistic, Loner
Career: Self-Employed Band Member

P.S., Those following the Draco Malanthro story, I have not abandoned it yet.  I'm Still trying to find a way to revive that file from the ashes.

Greetings all! My name is Rudolph, Rudolph St. Nick.   I am a Heavy Sleeper, Slob, Social Butterfly, Flirty, and I Love to Swim

It wasn't always St. Nick though.  It used to be Rudolph Deerrain.  But after a horrible Childhood of being hated and avoided by my family, all because of my bright red hair.  They would laugh and call me names.  They wuldn't even let me join family game night.  Then one foggy Snowflake Day Eve.  I took my things met up with my only friend Noel Everest and set off for Sunset Island.

Noel: Well here we are.
Me: Yeah.
Noel: You should be happy, you finally escaped your family.
Me: But you left yours too, they actually treated you nicely.
Noel: I have my reasons :)

Then she looked at me with those eyes, I hated that I didn't hate that look. I looked in those eyes.  These eyes

I couldn't help it she was just so Irresistible.  I kissed her

Noel: Come on Rudy, What took you so long?

It was straight out of one of her romance novels, but I knew that I loved her.

Me: Noel, will you marry me?
Noel: *squeals* Yes!, I always knew this day would come!

She's kind of a Hopeless Romantic. We had a private ceremony right there.

From then on she talked about all the kids we were going to have.  She's the Friendliest person you'd ever meet.  She's Family Oriented but perhaps she can be a little Ambitious.

[A/N] I'm at the point in-game where I cannot go any further without choosing an heir. so there  might be quite a few updates within the next couple of days

1.2: Marina

After the whirlwind of a courtship.  A strange... Something appeared in our back yard.

Noel went to go check it out and we somehow ended up in the future.  One of the advertisements we saw was for baby engineering.  I figured, might as well.  So we went to the hospital and after a bit we came out with a beautiful daughter named Marina St. Nick.
She is an artistic slob

The days flew by and Marina's first birthday was upon us.

She has my hair and Noel's eyes.  We went back to the present to raise her. And there decided we wanted another child.

and with that, I must leave this blog and go take care of my daughter.

1.3: Triton

I do love my job, look at what I see almost everyday.

But of course, that is not the reason for this update.  Mainly just a daily life in the household thing. There's teaching Marina her to walk and talk.  We're potty training too, but I felt that shouldn't be shared.

Noel gets sick from time to time but she tells me not to worry, I don't listen.

Maybe I should have.

I'm going to be a dad again. I didn't get as many pictures of the pregnancy as I'd like, but overall it was uneventful.  That is until she woke up one morning screaming in pain due to labor.

I did as any man would do, freak out, be useless, and scream louder than her.

She left the room to get away from me and gave birth to a handsome son.  He is athletic and clumsy.

Welcome to the world, Triton St. Nick

Chapter 1.4: Sterope

Like I said, I love my job.  Some moments however are better than others.

I hate sharks.  It was at that moment I exchanged some Lifetime Happiness points for a change of traits.  Instead of a Social Butterfly, now I am Unlucky. Because unlucky sims can only die of old age.

The next day was Marina's birthday. Where does the time go?

I seem to have lost her child picture.  Strange, she became quite athletic

Noel was sick again.

Triton had his toddler birthday.

I wonder where he got those eyes from?

and Noel was pregnant again.

I do enjoy my growing family.  Noel started teaching Triton his skills

Shortly thereafter, Noel goes into labor again, (and locks me out of the house).

And finally our youngest daughter was born.  Say hello to Sterope St. Nick.  She is a friendly loner.

Chapter 1.5: Birthday Mania

[A/N] At this point there might be some continuity issues.  The game wasn't to receptive to the Story Progression Mod and I had to export the family and do a factory reset

Oh how fast time flies!  It was non-stop birthdays, first Triton's child birthday.

He picked up the Absent-Minded trait

Then we had Sterope's toddler birthday

She has Noel's pretty green eyes.

We taught Sterope her skills

Triton and Marina did homework together

Triton: Hey Marina, what's you get for number two, I got Riverview
Marina: Triton, this is math homework
Triton: Oh, sorry.

Then Marina became a teenager

And we noticed that she was a Natural Born Performer

And my little girl, Sterope.  She had her child birthday, It feels like she was just born yesterday.

For her birthday we decided to go the Summer festival.  Everyone pretty much did their own thing. Sterope fished, I may have forgotten to mention that she is an angler.

Triton and Marina played soccer.

and I skated with Noel.

It was a good day.  and I've learned a couple of things.  First I hate cake, a lot.  Second, I feel it's time to hand the legacy to one of my children my middle age years are coming and I want to enjoy them.

The Heir Poll

I called them to a meeting in the dining room. They sat down, wondering why I'm looking so serious.

Marina: Dad, is everything ok?

Me: Sure it's fine I just need to explain something.

Sterope: Is it about the legacy?

Me: How did you know about that?

Triton: We've been reading your blogs.

Marina: Yeah Dad.  By the way, Noel is not a good password.  Sweet though.

Me: Ok, ok. So you know what this is?

Marina: Of course your choosing the heir.

Me: Your right I am.  And I have chosen...

* * *

You choose the heir your choices are:

Marina St. Nick: Artistic, Slob, Athletic, Natural Born Performer

Triton St. Nick: Athletic, Clumsy, Absent-Minded

Sterope St. Nick: Loner, Friendly, Angler

Sanctified Stalking

...Marina.

* * *

There was a quiet in the room everyone was smiling, except me.  I didn't want this, why me?

Dad: Of course in the event that you should prove unable to continue, Sterope will take your place.

There it was! My out! I just say that I don't want to be...  No. That would be one of the most ungrateful things I could do.

Me: Thank you Dad, I'll make you proud.

And with that, I'm the heir.

So life went on as usual.  Dad deep sea dived. er. deep pee dived

Hehe. Dad would never had told you he peed himself while diving, especially on his adult birthday

Which our watcher completely forgot about.

He didn't however, forget Triton's teen birthday

When I asked him why he looked like he shopped at Hipsters-R-Us he said "The hat represents how we're all topped by corporations the shirt is about how we all fade away." I think he's spent too much time with Kaylynn Langreak. He's not a rebel, he's a nerd.  He spends hours at a time reading books like some kind of bookworm.

Speaking of Kaylynn.  I did some "sanctified stalking" and discovered this.

Way to go, Little Bro.  What? It's research, I have to keep you informed of all the St. Nick happenings.
