The Last Man is Just a Few Apples Away

I was not too crazy about the gray dress that EeyoreWrite aged up with when hitting Young Adult stage, so it didn’t take me long to send her to the bedroom for something a little more comfortable.



EW had to wait for what seemed like an eternity before Derik aged up to Young Adult. Every time I had her check her Relationship tab it still showed him in high school. Then, it finally changed. She was on the phone the very next morning and invited him over for some immortal making.



Uh-Oh. The Stroke Cheek! That one never fails..



Derik: “Your new shirt is quite sexy.”
EeyoreWrite: “Thanks. But, don’t judge my books by their covers.”
Derik: “What?”
EeyoreWrite: “Come here big boy.”

And with that EW glided into the bedroom like a graceful dancer. Derik proudly strode in right behind her to make Man Dynasty history.



Oh, my gosh! This reminds me of my own honeymoon! I’m kidding...I’m kidding!



After Recipe took his ear away from the door he greeted EeyoreWrite warmly when she and Derik were finished...



Recipe: “Well, any luck? Do you think you’re pregnant?”
EeyoreWrite: “I’m pretty sure of it.”

Yep, Man fans. There’s a bun in the oven — the very last Man. And he’ll make his appearance after just a few more apples...

Special Delivery for City Hall

With the Moodlet Manager always within arm’s length, EeyoreWrite worked around the clock and maxed her writing career by submitting “I’ve had my fill of you kids” to her publisher.



She worked and worked and worked throughout the majority of her pregnancy. But, something happened on the day she was to deliver. Call it nesting, call it mothering instinct, call it quantum physics, but EeyoreWrite had the strongest urge to get out of the house and go to...City Hall.



“Guys, it’s getting close to that time. Let’s all take a trip to City Hall. I just maxed the writing career and I want to pick up my Service Award.”



Recipe: “Are you sure now is the time to be going out, EeyoreWrite? Why don’t we at least wait until you do the the owwee-face and then we'll take you to the hospital.”
EeyoreWrite: “No, Recipe. It’s my decision as to what’s best for the child right now. I have to go to City Hall. There’s...some significance that I can’t quite put my finger on.”
Crazy: “I want to put my finger on a floor hygienator!”

So, everybody piled into a very unManly Big Lemon, and headed to City Hall...



EeyoreWrite: “Got directions, Recipe?”
Recipe: “Now, c’mon. I know how to get to City Hall for goodness sake.”
Sporty: “Turn off the windshield wipers!”
Girly: “You’re in reverse!”

Everybody arrived at City Hall and then went inside for a tour. Afterwards, EeyoreWrite picked up her Service Award for maxing the writing career.



Sporty: “Recipe, what is it that you’re trying to think about?”

Everyone was getting a bit restless, but EeyoreWrite was quite insistent. She had to be at City Hall. But, wait! Derik! EW grabbed her cell phone and quickly invited him to come to City Hall...



“Come down to City Hall now. I’m about to deliver the baby and want to tell you a joke.”

Derik showed up and he and EeyoreWrite knew the hour was fast approaching.



Derik: “The sun’s going down. It will be dark soon. It’s almost like waiting for Midnight. Almost.”
EeyoreWrite: “Oh, stop it. If we’re lucky our son will not inherit your sense of humor.”

A little while later, with Derik still standing right in front of her, EeyoreWrite got a writing opportunity called A History of One where the writer gets the chance to write a Biography for another Sim. In this case it was for Derik McCauley. Remember him?



Derik: “How’d you like the ringtone of a baby crying?”

When’s the last time you’ve seen Recipe running? For that matter when’s the last time you’ve seen Recipe run straight towards a pregnant woman? Lol. It’s a very dark screenshot, but it was too bizarre not to share. Recipe and EeyoreWrite were just talking to each other and EW’s Childish trait autonomously kicked in and they started playing Tag. Too funny.



EeyoreWrite tried to keep the mood light with her own feeble attempts at humor...



“Santa’s elves are working in the garden all day. They finish up and ask Santa...what else can we do? He says, Hoe, hoe, hoe.”
Derik: “Bwahahahaha.”

And FINALLY...EeyoreWrite goes into labor on the City Hall steps. She pushes, she heaves, she moans, and Sound Man performs a combination Michael Jackson/John Travolta dance move in the background...



Generation #8 was born — a happy, healthy baby boy with the Friendly (“Hi there”) and Excitable (OMG!) traits. Everyone piled back into the car to head back to Manly Estates to discuss naming the new addition...



Recipe: “Well, EeyoreWrite, I’m glad everything worked out smoothly. But, why City Hall? What was the significance there?”
EeyoreWrite: “I’m not sure, Recipe. But, I think this boy is going to grow up and change Sunset Valley. Make it a better place to live.”
Queenie: “Hear, hear! The vampires...the paparazzi, the incessant celebrity opp phone calls. Icky poo.”
Sporty: “So, he’ll go into politics and make this little metropolis of ours a better place?”
EeyoreWrite: “Yes, exactly. Metropolis Man.”
Sound Man: “Isn’t that a bit vain given who’s writing our story?
Girly: “Oh, listen to the Rock Star give a speech about vanity!”
Crazy: “I just want to call him a beautiful, little floor hygienator. Waahhhhhh!!!”
