I'd love to see an "Open for Business" expansion. I was really dissapointed they never properly did one for The Sims 3. (that DLC right at the end was just broken).

I want to be able to have a store on my own lot and sell the stuff my sims have crafted. I want a sweatshop in the back where my sim children work away their afternoons making macraroni art to sell as modern art.

my choices would be Supernatural/Gothic, Western and kinda 40's - 50's Maffia style, also I would love to see something comes out wich you can control your sim in all the times ( like having your house build on an club/bar so you can live and work at the same place.

40's-50's mafia style would work so well with the deviance aspirations etc. lol Could be really fun!

This made me laugh so hard.

I would also love to see a historical/farming stuff pack/EP.

Though I want to see some new and different expansions for sure (and Outdoor Retreat is nice to start) I'd like them to bring back Seasons, World Adventures, (possibly adding some new places along with the originals) and especially Supernatural. I'm seriously missing playing a witch and a fairy (and I think the new emotions would be awesome to integrate with Supernatural) and I really miss Bonehilda. I would be devastated if Bonehilda never makes it into Sims 4. I love her.

At home careers like, gardening and/or fishing, painting, sculpting etc.  I like keeping my Sims at home and not in a rabbit hole.  Pets got to be a pain in the neck and Supernatural was fun except I REALLY dislike vampires.  I loved being able to brew potions and such though.  Mostly I want LIVING gnomes.  I loved the crazy things the gnomes would do.  Oh, and please, toddlers!
What?  Grannies can't play games?

I do miss the game play that was incorporated with Ambitions with the additional dynamic choices.

I also don't see why they can't make remedial or typically rabbit-hole jobs to be more interactive.

Fast food employee interactions: Drop food on floor... serve anyway, sneak in freezer and eat the frozen cookie dough, pocket customer change, hide outback while supposedly taking out garbage.
Office employee interactions: mass email all employees that there will be upcoming layoffs with bosses signature, steal co-worker lunch from frig, send anonymous love letters to all married or attached co-workers, prank call boss. etc.

Oh, and definitely changing weather that is not just sunny every monotonous day.

I love world adventures.. I really miss the sound when I found a new room when exploring tombs..

Would also want to see university, with additional traits after graduation.

I don't know if this is true and I could be getting this all wrong,

but when they announced TS4 I read or heard somewhere that they were still going to make expansions for TS3? Does anyone know anything about this?

Sorry Minnaa, but they are finished making expansions for the Sims 3.  I would have to dig it up, but there was an official announcement that Into the Future was the last Sims 3 expansion.

I'm looking forward to a family expansion because it's just too weird to see a baby turn into an 8 year old and an 8 year old turn into a 16 year old... I'd also like something like Seasons.

Yes, I was waiting for someone to mention this here..I knew I couldn't be the only one that was bothered by that. I really want more interaction with either babies or toddlers. In Sims 3 it was neat but it became routine after a while. Giving babies and toddler more personalities would be awesome so that way some of the actions that they do would be a bit more out of the box.

I'd also really love to see more careers and hobbies that could turn into careers.

I think a Seasons-related expansion is a given - but that may be a while (wasn't it at least 3 years before TS3 got Seasons?). Also, I think they'll probably reintroduce toddlers at some point to calm the masses - could you imagine managing an emotional child....that would be great! :D

Some expansions packs like Seasons, Pets, Open for Business should be more than enough to satisfy me. And any new themes by EA that weren't done for Sims 3 will be greatly appreaciated.  :)

I must say the anouncement for the first EP with the careers and the 'open for business' concept makes it very hard to wait till April. I was really hoping they'd bring this back :D

Heck, I admit I was pleasantly surprised by the Get to Work announcement myself.  I don't envy them; I know it is hard to balance what people want to return, and introducing something brand new into the mix.

"Amazing Tales of Oddity"

-- Basically a "Weird Science/Magic" EP ... anything from curses to brain switching. (It should play like a bad pulp penny book.)

I expect there will be a Family Time or something like that down the road, I'm thinking fourth or fifth expansion. I want toddlers, who can get out of cribs themselves(but not in) with more play options, like playpens or something. I also want pre-teens who have child aspirations still, but maybe they could add a fourth stage just for pre-teens? The pre-teen stage wouldn't last very long, maybe five days on normal?

I'd like something like Generations, so there was more stuff for kids and teens to do, like more interactive stuff for the kids to do together. I miss them playing tag, and games like hopscotch etc.

I absolutely agree! My favorite EP's are always the generations and pets ones!

Seasons, University, Supernatural and Showtime.

I know Showtime wasn't on everyone's list...but I love making my sim famous :P

One thing I really miss from TS3 WA is the nectar making. The limitless variety and experimentation is good for replay value. It was a skill that engaged my mind, not just the sim's. Maybe it could come as a Game Pack, rather than a full EP.

I would make the grape vines a long 4x1 or 5x1 thing that could be built and upgraded with better irrigation and so on. And watering them with orange juice or other weird things could affect the grapes. Maybe growing grapes in a 'focused' environment would give different results to 'confident' or 'flirty'.
Various Forum Adventures:

The Dynasty of Original Townies Dynasty
Vlad's Nose story
Sims Eugenics II - the big chateau one
Vacuous Green house (I totes like this one)
Island Living Beachfront Mansion

It is a little thing of my own. I call it "Heart Foam". I shall not publish it. Farewell! Patience, Patience, farewell!

Exit Bunthorne.

My favorite part about the sims 3 games was aliens, so now that has been added the only thing that would really rock my socks off would be toddlers. I'm cheered to see so many people agree :). And I'm totally behind seeing Bonehilda again, she had so much personality in the third, it would be great to see them rocking that again.

I would love to have Seasons again, this time with a greenhouse included! Maybe university too, I never got it for sims 3 but it looked fabulous.

I've got to admit to recently really missing different life states/types. I guess having aliens started me thinking wistfully about vampires and such.
