If you can't check on them, how will you know when you've fulfilled the objectives?

Sorry, I think 30 skill levels is fine.  For some reason I was thinking 30 maxed skills, which sounded like too much.  My other questions still applies, though.

Ah, that is true. You would just have to be careful and make sure when you checked on them not to queue anything if it was not time to switch active Sims.

It sounds good to me. And, ClayMask, if it's any consolation(?), they're not likely to make much progress towards their goals when you're not controlling them. I'd suggest taking notes when you start getting close to 300 whims and 30 skill levels.

That's a good idea.  I still wouldn't feel right saying everything was complete if I couldn't verify it at the end, but it could help prevent excessive checking.

Kind of looking forward to this one - really different than our typical bread and butter offerings.

@Lena - do you think you could come up with a formula that would automatically calculate a player's total minutes played if they plugged in 1) days to aging up, and 2) clock time with am or pm?

------

Now - do we just leave it at that for score or do we want to get really brutal and give players a reduction on their total time depending on if they choose some bad traits in CAS? So, for example everyone has a 1.00 multiplier. For ever bad trait you assign your Sims (we could come up with 9 I guess) you could have 5% reduced in your time. That's going to make it a lot more complicated I think, but we can discuss it.

I was thinking you could subtract 4 hours (or 6) for each bad trait. That way 6 bad traits would get a full day off your total.

I like that. 240 minutes could be chopped off for each bad trait chosen in CAS. 6 different bad traits possible. Now we need to come up with that list of bad traits.

Ones that come to mind for me -

Hot Headed
Clumsy
Glutton - the lack of food at the get go will be a real problem
Lazy
Neat - Sims peeing themselves, etc at the beginning could cause bad moldiest
Outgoing

Other possible bad traits:
Insane
Squeamish
Gloomy
Snob
Mean
Evil
Slob

Mean, evil, and insane will all cause them to ask autonomously mean to their housemates.  Slob would cause them to make messes, with the only benefit being they wouldn't mind their own mess.  The rest of the house would though if no repeat traits are allowed.

Skip squeamish.  People that don't have outdoor retreat will not have access to this trait.

Just wanted to step into this thread for a sec and let everyone know my family will be in Florida for a week - we're leaving Saturday and returning the following Friday. I hope to get the two next rulesets up tomorrow which is earlier than usual, but I wanted to do that before I left.
