@Malley  I think I've been pretty fortunate not to have many repeated attempts to get an heir.
@Nettlejuice  Poor Oscar's had it pretty rough. Ella keeps wanting to cast sunlight charms on him.
@Deklitch  Snuggles is the only dynasty spouse left alive. He has 8 days to elder. All the letter A, E, and I spares have died. Onyx being a vampire is going strong. He's a consignment specialist and had an elder girlfriend for a while. Upton is a kitchen scullion, Ulysses a stylist, and Usher hasn't progressed beyond coffee courier, same for Yuri. Amazingly, Christopher Steel is an elder vampire and still invites Persia to his parties. As far as I know, he's the only original townie left.

Birthday cake!
Yvette: Stop laughing. I can fix this.

Yvette is now Eccentric.

Yvette started using her birthday present right away. Her childhood has been smooth and rather uneventful. She's made level 6 in Inventing with no butt fires.

So, Stinky Bugs complete, mausoleum pieces complete, one 5k+ wish complete.
Yvette: I'll be on the honor roll tomorrow. I'll be a teen soon so I'm practicing.

@Malley   So far Yvette has been a dream to work with.

Birthday time once again
Yvette: Stop laughing. I haven't stretched out all the way yet.

Yvette gained the Perceptive trait.

Yvette ran upstairs to the computer and signed up for the cemetery job.

She decided to take the Uni prep test even though risking the dynasty by actually attending probably wasn't going to happen. 18 credits!

Time to put Ella's destructive tendencies to good use.

Yvette unclogged a few toilets and took off for her first nights work...once again barefoot.

Yvette's school chum, Ericka Seal, comes home with her after school quite often. They do their homework together, and Yvette leaves for work. Ericka is always there when she returns. In fact, at 3:30 am she says she needs to go home and then stands out front complaining that she can't get to the rocking chair and finally leaves at about 6am.

Yvette: Cemetery boss? Yvette Lumen here. I've reached level 3 and in the best family tradition, I quit.

With no more job, Yvette has time for other important tasks. Like wooing babysitter, Bernardo LeBlanc. Instead of breaking up with him, she breaks with family tradition and decides to just ignore him instead.

She has time to work out at the gym with brother, Yuri.

And to build her first time machine.

After being on the honor roll for 3 days, Yvette decided it was time to grow up. She has all 4 LTRs, 3 5K wishes fulfilled, and 2 skill challenges completed.

I missed an update! Yvette is Supergirl for sure, I think everyone dreams of having the perfect heir and here you are with her. Great job, Yvette.

Thanks, everyone, Yvette really has been great. And Deklitch, she had her YA birthday Week 42 Day 3. I don't know if that's fast or not. It feels like forever. It's been a struggle to get photobucket to save my edits, so this is all I have. I'll try to finish up tomorrow. I don't have a lot of pictures of Yvette's adulthood as upgrading objects and running endless hours on the treadmill just are not that compelling.

Yvette is indeed all grown up. As you can see, Snuggles is an elder now (oops - no pictures). I think the last elder living in the house was Lisa.

Yvette added the Family Oriented trait.

The family bought a remote empty lot for Yvette. It has everything one needs - a huge statue and a shower.

Yvette calls it Boom City.

@Nettlejuice   At least I actually bought one this time instead of exploding the one at the military base.

It was time to get serious about running.

Yvette knew she would need the stamina for her new military job.

Yvette reached level 7 in her job without getting a single job opportunity. Since she only needed one more and already had her career rewards in hand, she quit her job when the science facility asked for her help in developing a mystery invention. The efforts of her collecting mother and her gardening great-grandmother provided her with all the requirements.
Her boss at work, a werewolf named James Cary, was already her best friend so this was her last dynasty requirement.
When she got back home, she set to work only to be immediately interrupted. Rest in peace, Snuggles Lumen. You almost made it to the end

Presence: What have you learned, Utah Lumen.
Utah: That old age and death are not to be feared. They are just the beginning of life's next adventure.

Yvette allowed herself a few moments to mourn, and then downed a Potent Bliss and a Potent Invigorating and worked through the night.

Her Lifetime Wish was Monster Maker. At least she got to make one, immediately released into the wilds of Sunset Valley.

Generation Seven

Yvette Lumen - Imaginary Friend
Good, Clumsy, Eccentric, Perceptive, Family Oriented  LTW - Monster Maker (sorry, not in this lifetime)

Toddler - All toddler skills plus xylophone and pegbox. Best friends with both parents
Child - On Honor Roll, completed the Stinky Bugs opportunity
Teen - On the Honor Roll, Romantic Interest-Bernardo LeBlanc (love the name enough to use it sometime), L.3 Cemetery Job

Best Friend - James Cary/Werewolf
Career Rewards - Handiness Skill Certificate, Athletic Skill Certificate (no one rolled athletic trait this dynasty!)
Unique Opportunities - Hygienation Hijinks, Bring Back the Jams, Master Invention
Unique LTR - Efficient Inventor, Jock Influence, Observant, Speedy Cleaner
Unique Wishes - Own 7 Venues, Master Inventing Skill, Build a Time Machine, Master Handiness Skill, Master Athletics Skill
Unique Skill Challenges - Plumber, Electrician, The Scrap Collector, Tinkerer, Marathon Runner, Fitness Nut
Mausoleum Piece - Inventions
Travel - 0 of 47 possible

Yvette in the Mausoleum

The Lumen Family    Completed Week 44 Day 7
Persia - Genie, Andrew - Merman, Ella - Witch, Iris - Fairy, Oscar - Vampire, Utah - Werewolf, Yvette - Imaginary Friend

Presence: That you, Lumen family. During my mortal life, I was a selfish, greedy sim. Just before my death, I did one kind thing - I befriended and freed a young genie. I've since been guiding and learning from you. You, the family, long ago came to understand what it means to be a sim and co-exist. And, thanks to you, I can now pass on to the next plain of existence in peace.

Congratulations KRae on completing another dynasty. Hopefully the presence can enjoy a nice long peaceful slumber now.

So, me spending all my time buying and exploding washing machines and dishwashers was a waste of my time. Writes down that as something to do next time.

Actually, the big statue is just for scrap collection (about 1500) . If you want the 150 objects, I recommend cheap dishwashers.
