The Grey Random Town Jump-The Final Town (May 1)-COMPLETE

Hello everyone! With the conclusion of the Sakura 4x4, it's a time for a new project! This time around, I have a Random Town Jump. I was trying to do everything randomly, so, in addition to the traits being random, the next town was also selected randomly. I also did have a story progression mod on to keep things interesting. Also, as with all of the rest of my stories, there will be a name theme. What better name theme is there for a RTJ than places?

For the first town, I rolled...Moonlight Falls!

Now, let's meet our founders.

This is Odessa Grey.



Her traits are: Over-Emotional, Irresistible, Natural Cook, Savvy Sculptor and Ambitious. Odessa's Lifetime Wish is to become a Culinary Librarian.



Odessa's hubby is named Chandler Grey.



His traits are: Social Butterfly, Loves the Outdoors, Daredevil, Eco-Friendly and Athletic. Chandler's Lifetime Wish is to Become an Astronaut.



The first order of business for the happy couple was to work on bringing in the first potential candidate for heir. Each generation will be having at least two kids so that way I can decide between the two. Plus, it would be fun to hear from all of you lovely readers on who you would pick as the potential heir when it comes time to choose!



Afterward, Chandler got signed up for a job at the local military base and then began working on his athletic skills.



Odessa, meanwhile, met a bunch of the neighbors who had come to welcome the Greys to the neighborhood.



The couple enjoyed a nice dinner together before heading off to bed. It was the first of many, many meals that Odessa would be preparing while working toward her LTW of Culinary Librarian.



Being dirt poor, the Greys needed some additional sources of income, so Odessa began a garden of red berry beans.



There was a bit of a hiccup, however, while planting...



Nausea conquered, it was time for breakfast.



Heading back outside to tend to the garden after breakfast, Odessa discovered that the first potential heir was on the way!



Chandler was certainly in for a surprise when Odessa broke the news to him.



Chandler: Hey, great job, Odessa! *thumbs up*



The next few days were nothing but skilling and work so let's fast forward>>>>>ah, here we are! While tending her garden, Odessa went into labor.



It's off to the hospital we go, yay! After a bit, the first Grey-boo was welcomed into the family. Kingston Grey was born with the Brave and Disciplined traits.



The house they lived in was quite small, so Kingston and his future sibling would be sharing this room. For now, it wasn't too claustrophobic.



It was very apparent that this was Odessa's first child, as she didn't get how the whole crib thing worked...



Odessa: Don't worry, Watcher! I've got this under control.
Malley: Says the woman standing in the crib.



By some miracle Kingston made it to his toddler birthday. I was really looking forward to seeing what genetics he would end up with, as I did custom hair and eyes for both Odessa and Chandler.





Kingston is a perfect mix! He got Chandler's hair (which actually has black highlights, though the picture in CAS of Chandler didn't show them because I added them afterward...) and Odessa's eyes. Such a cutie-pie!

Yeah. This seems to be shaping up into a nice story. With many supernatural and other stuff. Through randomizing traits and towns you end up with unique and interesting stories and personalities that you won't get otherwise. And mixed-town sims often end up looking really good and unique.  Like, at the end they've got, say, an eye color from Riverwiew, hair color from Hidden Springs, skin color from Lucky Palms, ear\cheek\chin shape from Sunlit Tides, mouth from Dragon Valley, nose from Aurora Skies, eye shape from Monte Vista, and body shape from Midnight Hollow, for example.

I want to make a RTJ where I don't only randomize the towns, but I also randomize whatever family\household I start with between all premade sims, as it should be. (Like, for moonlight falls you write the household\family names such as Nix, Wolff, Goodfellow, Van Gould, MacDuff, Ivy, Durwood, Goth... and use the randomizer to shuffle 'em up) But, RTJ featuring CAS sims are also cool with me, although to me that stuff should mostly be premade-based eventually!

Thankfully, Odessa seems to get the hang of that whole parenting thing by the time the second kid comes around.

That's one of the things I'm loving about this challenge. It's awesome to be able to cram as many original townie genes into one family as possible. You certainly get some interesting looking sims!

Moonlight Falls, Part II

WARNING: This chapter will be filled with adorable toddler spam. Read at your own risk of a cuteness overload. You have been warned 

Chandler got started on teaching Kingston his toddler skills on his day off from the military.



Kingston didn't seem too into it, though.



And now, toddler spam!



Is this kid not absolutely adorable?



Odessa and Chandler certainly thought so!





Despite the odor wafting from Chandler, the happy couple went about bringing in the second potential candidate for heir.



Were they successful? You'll have to wait to find out!

In the meantime, Kingston continued making progress on his toddler skills.



Apparently, Odessa was having a toddler cuteness overload...or was she?

More toddler cuteness, since Kingston's baby days were coming to a close.







There was a brief interruption, however, when Odessa received confirmation that baby #2 was on the way!



I don't really have a caption for this one other than the fact that it just struck me as funny.



Odessa, apparently, laughed so hard that it sparked her labor.



Odessa: I wonder what to make for lunch today?
Maid: OMG WHATDOIDO?





After a bit, Odessa and Chandler welcomed little Havana into the family. Her traits were Perceptive and Insane.



A short time later, it was time for Kingston's child birthday.









But wait! There's more! Havana had her birthday right after Kingston.







What will they look like? Who will Havana take after? Since we've hit the 25 photo limit, you'll have to wait until next time to find out!

Muscle shirts can add to a character. It fits some sims. Saw it a long time ago on a Pokémon themed legacy if I remember correctly. 

Muscle shirts can definitely work for some sims, but I find more often that not that that's what my child sims age up into  And a pokemon legacy sounds amazing.

Moonlight Falls, Part III

In the last chapter, both Kingston and Havana had their birthdays, but their makeovers had to wait due to reaching the picture limit. So, here is the long awaited wardrobe update!

First, Kingston.



For this birthday, Kingston gained the Hydrophobic trait. *shrugs* Could be worse, I guess.



Next up was Havana. I love how the genetics were distributed in this generation. Kingston got Chandler's hair, but Odessa's eyes and face shape. Havana, on the other hand, got Odessa's hair and Chandler's eyes and face.



With Havana as a toddler, it was time to start working on her toddler skills.



And, for once, there was a parent teaching his child to talk without doing so in front of a fuming potty. Way to go, Chandler!





No fuming potty, but weird contortions for teaching Havana how to walk...



Apparently, my sims have a thing for the sandbox. I mean, the Matsuri's were playing in it when I updated my other story 



Kingston was a good kid. He would help out around the house, even willingly changing the dreaded potty.



He also liked to play with his sister, which was too cute for words.





But, when Kingston was at school, Havana was able to find other ways to occupy herself.



I know you're tired, Chandler, but we need to do the obligatory Attack of the Claw shot.





Despite being busy with work and kids, Odessa and Chandler still found time to spend together.





On her days off, Odessa took Havana out in her stroller and she loved every minute of it.



Ah...glitchiness...

Glitches aside, it was time for more birthdays! Havana was celebrating her child birthday and Kingston was celebrating his teen birthday.

Moonlight Falls, Part IV

Back where we left off, Kingston and Havana both had their birthdays and then got updated wardrobes and hairdos.

Here is Kingston.



Kingston rolled the Kleptomaniac trait for this birthday. Could be worse, I guess.



Here is Havana.



She gained the Bookworm trait. Havana wins this birthday trait roll.



She immediately rolled a wish to try out her new trait and began working on her writing skill.



Kingston on the other hand...well, at least he wasn't trying out his Klepto trait...



With the two kids having their birthdays, Odessa's adult birthday got lost in the shuffle. She woke up a little before midnight in order to celebrate and screw up my camera angle when the camera auto-panned to her.



That also meant that the whole household had to get up and come party too. It's not like you guys have work or school the next day that you have to be up early for or anything...really...



And for her adult birthday, Odessa apparently lost her hair.



A quick trip to the mirror and all was fine, thankfully...at least until the next day when Kingston decided to play a prank and rig the computer. Poor little Havana fell for it.





Anyway, once Havana regained her composure, she headed out to the kitchen to have dinner with Kingston and Chandler. Somehow, Chandler and Odessa got to be a day apart, so Chandler had his adult birthday that evening.





He lost his hair too. I guess he and Odessa were meant for each other.



Following Chandler's emergency make over, Kingston was off to the prom.



Prom went really well for Kingston. He was named Prom King and had a great time. Plus, he lucked out because the school actually scheduled the event for a weekend instead of the middle of the week like normal. That meant that he could have fun during prom and not have to wake up insanely early for school the next day. Needless to say, he was in a good mood the following morning. Havana was too, still giggling about how Chandler lost his hair the previous night.

Havana: Ha! Dad lost his hair!



Despite the computer prank, Havana and Kingston were really good friends.



Hopefully, as Havana got ready to celebrate her teen birthday, their relationship would remain amiable.









Havana, if she hadn't gained the Born Saleswoman trait, I could have sworn she would have rolled Rebellious since she decided to sabotage her wardrobe picture by blinking...



There we are. Much better.

Moonlight Falls, Part V

Greetings! So, if you read the Matsuri's in my decadynasty, you'll already know that I've been away from Sims for the past month due to National Novel Writing Month and Pokemon Sun. But, now that those are out of the way, it's back to simming for me!

To start off, Kingston rolled a wish to learn how to make some potions and increase his logic skill.



And this, kids, is why it is important to practice.
Kingston: Hardy-har, Watcher.



Havana was now a teenager, so she was able to attend prom. She opted to go in her athletic wear. I guess it could be worse.



She was voted Prom Queen and had a really nice time.

Back at home, Havana and Kingston worked on their homework together. They still had a really good relationship, even through mood swings and Havana's insane ramblings.



At some point or another, the family got a nice chunk of change. Seriously. I looked at how much money they had and it was suddenly quite a bit. So, the house got a bit of an update.





The money came at a good time because the family was in need of a new tv after Chandler's stench broke the old one.



So, Havana wore her athletic outfit to go to prom and her formal wear to play in the sandbox...Have I mentioned how much I love sims logic?



Back in the land of the sane, Odessa continued working on her cooking skills and increasing her knowledge of recipes. She completed her lifetime wish of the Culinary Librarian.





In addition, Odessa reached the top of her career and got the fancy fridge. For some reason, she doesn't look too thrilled *shrugs*



Okay, so we didn't completely make it back to the land of sanity. It was more like a detour.







Oh, my sweet Havana...

Moving on! It was time for Kingston's young adult birthday.





He was one of those rare teens that actually didn't look terrified to be aging up into an adult.



If only he knew how his hair was going to disappear, I highly doubt he would have been this happy. Hair loss really is genetic.



Much better! Here is young adult Kingston.



His final trait was Night Owl and his lifetime wish was Physical Perfection.

Moonlight Falls, Part VI

Immediately upon aging up, Kingston rolled a wish to travel to China. Since he was going to need to learn the martial arts skill, it was a good time for a vacation.



One agonizingly slow loading screen later, Kingston landed safely in Shang Simla.



While traveling, Kingston mingled with the locals and took a liking to one in particular. He rolled some wishes to flirt and kiss her, so I let him do so, just to see what would happen.







She seemed to reciprocate his feelings, but neither he nor I were sure if she was the one for him. So, in the mean time, Kingston did some shopping and then headed to the academy to actually, you know, study martial arts.



As a martial artist myself, I get a lot of entertainment watching my sims practice with the training dummy. It also makes me cry a little on the inside at their poor technique XD





Soon enough, Kingston was getting the hang of things and could actually hold his own against the training dummy.





Apparently, Kingston reaching his orange belt was fascinating news. I don't recall there being any newscasters when I reached my orange belt in karate. Heck, there weren't any news cameras when I reached my first or second degree black belt in taekwondo.

Kingston: I guess I just stole the show.
Malley: That was not a good use of your Klepto trait, kid.



Moving on.



Eventually, it was time for Kingston's vacation in China to come to an end and he returned home. Fun fact: Kingston gets his strength from Odessa and not from Chandler, if this picture is any indication.



Havana decided that she wanted to help out tending the garden. And what is the best attire to wear in the mud? A formal dress and heels, of course.



Thinking it over since Kingston's return, I decided that the lady from China was not going to be the spouse for him. He called her over for a visit and then karate chopped her in the heart.



She ran off and, before she barely was out of the driveway, Kingston had his one true love on the phone. Maria Younan stopped by for a visit and never looked back.









She agreed to move in and the two then made it official. Kingston proposed and Maria accepted.





Maria then got a bit of a makeover. She is actually really stunning. I've never played with her, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Thanks! I love martial arts. I studied for about 11 years but then took a few years off due to injuries then just started up a new discipline earlier this year. It is absolutely one of my favorite sim skills.

Moonlight Falls, Part VII

Welcome back to the Grey Random Town Jump! It's amazing that we're already almost ready to jump to the second town. Any ideas where we might end up?

Also, there are currently two votes for Havana as who you would have picked as the next heir. Poor Kingston Anyone else care to share who their pick would have been before it's time to town jump?

This update will begin on a peaceful note with a late night serenade...



Chandler worked out in front of television and maxed his athletic skill.



Between a hearty workout and a sweet strumming of the guitar, the Grey family was lulled into a peaceful slumber...or so they thought.



Don't worry. Kingston was on top of things.





While he fought the burglar, the family stood around and panicked like any good family member would do in this situation.

Kingston: *in mid scuffle* Seriously, you guys could help or something...
Malley: Nah. Panicking is how things get done in the sim world.



In the end, it was Kingston who emerged as the victor!



The next day, it was back to business as usual. Odessa had a day off from the diner, so she decided to take up a new hobby: fishing.



Chandler headed to work and earned his final promotion. He was officially an astronaut, which completed his lifetime wish. Needless to say, he was pretty thrilled at this accomplishment and so was I.



*Looks epic in army fatigues and aviator shades*



*Cue happy dance!*



With all the free time that he had as an astronaut, Chandler decided to join Kingston in his pursuit of Sim Fu.



With both Kingston and Havana making good progress toward their goals, Kingston and Maria figured that it would be a good time to tie the knot. They wanted to get married before moving to the next town.









At first glance, Kingston doesn't look too thrilled with the wedding cake, but there is a smile on his face. If he was in the decadynasty, I'm sure his expression would be one of nausea since the family is essentially living off of cake for the rest of their natural lives.



Okay, then again, the Greys were going to be having a lot of leftover cake too, as Havana's young adult birthday took place a little while after Kingston and Maria's wedding.







Grey family trait: losing hair length upon aging up. Go figure.



Here is young adult Havana.



Her final trait was Heavy Sleeper and her lifetime wish was to become an Illustrious Author.

Moonlight Falls, Part VIII-END!

This is slated to be a very exciting installment of the Grey Random Town Jump! We will get to see who I selected as the first heir/heiress and where the family will be town jumping to. Ready? Let's get started.

But before we get in to all of that, we have some other things to celebrate first. To start off, Kingston had his high school graduation.





Okay, now for the moment we've all been waiting for. The next heir is....

Kingston! I admit that I had a really, really difficult decision in choosing between the two. Both had decent traits and somewhat easily obtainable lifetime wishes, as well as really good genetics. I pretty much narrowed it down between two categories: spouse and lifetime wish. Kingston had a lovely spouse in Maria, but Havana had no one that really stuck out for me. Point, Kingston. For lifetime wish, Kingston achieved his first. Point, Kingston.



So, now that the heir has been decided, it is time to reveal the next town. The place I rolled was...

Hidden Springs!

Having amassed a decent amount of funds, the family moved in to this lovely abode in the new city.



The first thing Kingston and Maria did after moving in was to work on bringing in the first candidate to be the next potential heir.



A short time later, Maria confirmed that she and Kingston were going to be parents.



She immediately shared the good news with her hubby.







Thrilled about being grandparents, Odessa and Chandler decided that they wanted to stick around.



And, nothing exciting happened over the new few days, so....here we go! Maria went in to labor.





After clearing up all the sparkles, the family was happy to welcome a little girl named Sahara.



Her traits were Excitable and Light Sleeper.



Chandler, apparently, approved of his granddaughter's new bedroom.



Havana immediately took to being an auntie. She doted on little Sahara.



But, when Sahara was otherwise occupied, Havana continued working toward completing her lifetime wish.



Soon enough, it was time for Sahara to celebrate her toddler birthday.





Sahara is pretty much Maria's clone, except with Kingston's blue eyes.



Not surprisingly, Havana was the first person to work with Sahara on her toddler skills.



But, Kingston and Maria also got a chance to work with their daughter.

Hidden Springs, Part I

Havana continued working on her painting skills. She was quickly heading toward her goal of mastering both the writing and painting skills for her lifetime wish.



Well, "mastery" was a relative term in Havana's case, I guess...



Maria celebrated her adult birthday.



Sahara, while she didn't get any of her mom's birthday cake, found a snack of her own, even though it wasn't necessarily an edible one...



Maria, however, seemed like she did a little too much celebrating.



Or maybe it was because the second potential heir was on the way!



Sahara's toddler days were quickly coming to a close, so here is some toddler spam.

Everyone, please welcome Catalina into the Grey family.



For the time being, Catalina and Sahara would be sharing a room.



Though, the room would be getting an update yet again since Sahara was going to be agin up into a child.

She gained the Neat trait.



Kingston worked with Sahara on her schooling. Both girls would be in the running for heiress, so both would be prepared to be the next heir.



Ready for another birthday? A few days later, Catalina was ready for her toddler birthday.







Here is little Catalina. Her traits, by the way, are Heavy Sleeper and Eccentric. Absolutely adorable, just like Sahara.

Hidden Springs, Part II

Now that Catalina was a toddler, it was time to start working on her skills.



Though, I do believe that it was a little too early to get started on teaching the cooking skill, Kingston...



Chandler and Odessa also chipped in to help out with their granddaughters.



Okay, maybe Catalina did need that lesson about what to and what not to eat after all...





With her nieces mostly self-sufficient now, Havana returned to her painting. She maxed out the skill and completed her lifetime wish.



Catalina: Really, Watcher? Is this necessary?
Malley: Yes. Absolutely necessary.



While Kingston was embarrassing little Catalina with his outfit and his weird faces, Sahara was getting ready to celebrate her teen birthday downstairs in the kitchen.







Let's get this going, girl. Odessa needs to take a shower. Stat.



And Sahara needs a trip to the dresser. Stat.



Other than being unnaturally skinny, Sahara is gorgeous.



I'm not sure if I've mentioned her traits or not, but, as of her teen birthday, here are her traits: Excitable, Light Sleeper, Neat and Artistic.



Lifetime wish under her belt, Havana then turned her attention to other pursuits: romance.



Never really one to beat around the bush, Havana made her intentions clear to Greg.





In true sims fashion, they pledged their love to each other in the bathroom.









For the wedding, though, we decided to host it in a more romantic spot than the bathroom.

Hidden Springs, Part III

Shortly after the wedding, Havana and Greg moved into a new house to start their new married life.



The family had amassed a decent amount of money, so Havana and Greg moved into a nice place, one suitable for starting a family!



Before leaving Hidden Springs, I made sure to get pictures of Havana and Greg's kids. They had two daughters. First is Danette.



Second is Helen.



Back with Kingston and Maria, Sahara brought Catalina up to the cake to celebrate her child birthday.









Here is child Catalina.



For this birthday, she gained the Rebellious trait.



With Havana and Greg out on their own, there was now an extra bedroom available, so the girls would no longer be sharing a bedroom. Sahara kept her original room, but it got a little update.



Catalina took over Greg and Havana's old room.



Before she got to check out her new digs, Catalina did some tutoring with Maria.



To keep the cash flowing in the house, Maria took over the gardening duties to keep the red berry beans blooming.



Sahara and Catalina were good friends. They would hang out and do their homework together (though it looks more like rebellious Catalina was eating her pencil instead)...



That night, two big events happened. First, Sahara attended prom. She was voted Prom Queen and had a great time.



Secondly, Maria achieved her final promotion at work and completed her lifetime wish.





Catalina had wished to learn the inventing skill, so, with the space in her new room, she got an inventor's bench. She took to it pretty quickly.



With Sahara graduating from High School relatively soon, it was about time for Kingston to officially graduate. He finally got his diploma!





Better late than never, I guess!

Hidden Springs, Part IV

Before we knew it, it was time for Catalina to celebrate her teen birthday.





Apparently, blowing out the candles on the birthday cake also blew away the colors on the furniture...





After a quick trip to the dresser, here is teenage Catalina.



For this birthday, she gained the Savvy Sculptor trait.



Maria sat down with Catalina to help her get her grades up before her first day of school.



Afterward, Catalina hung out with big sister Sahara.



Art was definitely a shared passion between the two girls.



But, Catalina soon found another thing she was passionate about...



Though his face is covered up by a speech bubble, this young man is Gerard Earthsong. Courtesy of story progression, he is the son of Cassidy Earthsong and Liam O'Dourke.





Next up was Sahara's young adult birthday.









Sahara looks a lot like Maria. She is absolutely stunning and was someone I definitely saved to the sim bin to use for later.



Her final traits were Excitable, Light Sleeper, Neat, Artistic and Bot Fan. Sahara's lifetime wish was to become a Rock Star.



Taking after her musical mother, Sahara wanted to join the music career and quickly got started on her guitar skill after her birthday celebration.



Here we are, a better picture of Gerard. As you can see somewhat, he had some of Cassidy's lovely genetics, so he was definitely a potential spouse for Catalina.



Until then, Catalina had some work ahead of her if she was to become the next heir. She got to work on her sculpting skill.



The following day, Sahara had her graduation. She was valedictorian and, though I didn't write it down, apparently, I'm pretty sure she was voted Most Likely to Become a Rock Star or something like that.



Well, Maria was definitely seeing stars after she tried to repair an appliance at home and failed...



Rebellious Catalina tried to help cool her mom down by rigging the sink to spray her with water.





While Sahara and Catalina worked on their skills and lifetime wishes, Havana and Greg were having a family of their own to raise. Before leaving Hidden Springs, I made sure to get a picture of their two daughters. This is Denise.

Hidden Springs-Part V

The girls had a very eventful evening. Catalina went to prom.



Sahara, meanwhile, spent the day with her friend, who also happened to be a young adult now too. His name is Jake Groves-Preston.















After popping the question, Sahara invited Jake to move in with her. His traits are Loves to Swim, Dramatic, Bookworm, Artistic and Friendly. His lifetime wish is to become a Master of the Arts.





A short time later, Sahara and Jake tied the knot.









The wedding went off without a hitch...but Catalina's attempt at the inventing skill, not so much.



Too bad it wasn't a birthday cake that Sahara was cutting. She could have used Catalina's butt fire to light the candles.



Eventually, everyone settled in for the night and the happy couple enjoyed their new married lives.

Malley: I'll get the fire extinguisher.



Yay! She made it through the birthday without getting set on fire! That's a victory.

Hidden Springs, Part VI

After much debate and weighing the options, the next heir was chosen...and the winner is...CATALINA!

Moments like these, however, made me seriously question whether or not she would ever complete her lifetime wish.



While Catalina worked on her inventing, her future hubby, Gerard moved into the household and got a makeover.



His traits are Daredevil, Excitable, Savvy Sculptor, Hopeless Romantic and Artistic. Like Catalina, Gerard's lifetime wish was to become a Descendant of Da Vinci.



Post graduation, Catalina and Gerard soon had another reason to celebrate.







The celebrations continued when Catalina maxed the inventing skill.



The next skill she was going to tackle was painting.



With Catalina's skilling on track, she and Gerard planned their wedding. The scenery in Hidden Springs is quite lovely, isn't it?











The whole family was invited to the affair. Havana and Greg showed up, as well as Cassidy and Liam. Gerard's sister, whose name I don't know, is also in the picture somewhere.



Fast forward through lots of skilling and Gerard maxed out the sculpting skill.



Next up for him was the inventing skill.



But there was even more exciting news in the family.



Sahara and Jake were starting their family!



A few days later and it was time to welcome the newest Grey into the family.



Sahara and Preston welcomed Victoria into the family. She was a Friendly Loner.



In between taking care of their new addition, Sahara and Preston continued working toward their own lifetime wishes.



Catalina and Gerard weren't far behind. Catalina quickly maxed the painting skill.



Last but not least, it was time to start sculpting.



Of course, with little Victoria arriving in the family, Catalina's thoughts were elsewhere.

Hi all! So, the summer took an unexpected turn with family issues for me, so I haven't really had a chance to update at all since June. I feel bad about neglecting this story but I don't know when I'll have time to commit to a full chapter update. Here's what I'm going to do instead: I'm going to post summaries for each town and its family members. If I get the time to do some full on chapters, I will. But, in the meantime, enjoy reading about the other heirs to the Grey RTJ I should have the first post momentarily.

Town 3: Isla Paradiso

The third town I rolled for my RTJ was Isla Paradiso. After completing my decadynasty there, I had a real soft spot for this world. However, while my file was relatively bug-free in the decadynasty, the RTJ was full of them. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it through this generation. It was because of all the glitches and what not that I ended up choosing who I did for the next heir.

Jumping from Hidden Springs, here is where the family moved.



Catalina and Gerard had two sons, Denver and Dallas. Denver was born first.





He turned out to be quite a nice mix of his parents. Denver's traits were Loner, Loves the Outdoors, Perceptive, Brave and Technophone. His lifetime wish was to become a Master of Mysticism.

This is Denver's younger brother, Dallas.





Dallas' traits were Light Sleeper, Disciplined, Excitable, Flirty and Charismatic. His lifetime wish was to become Super Popular.

The boys were both great potential heirs but, based upon the glitches, bugs and issues I was having with this Isla Paradiso, I ended up selecting Dallas as my heir since his lifetime wish was obtainable far faster than Denver's.

Both boys got married. I have to say that Dallas' spouse also helped him to become the heir because I wanted some of those townie genes in this project.

First, here is Denver's spouse. This is Michell Scott, the daughter of Linda Scott and Rubisel Ichtaca.





Michell's traits were Brave, Over Emotional, Inappropriate, Photographer's Eye and Easily Impressed. Her lifetime wish was to become an International Super Spy. Not bad for a story progression townie spawn.

Dallas married a lovely lady named Crystal Arias-Greenwood. Notice her last name is Greenwood. Yep, she's a descendant of Harley Greenwood, one of the founders of my decadynasty. Unfortunately, he didn't marry Rei Matsuri this go around. Instead, Crystal is the daughter of Harley and Gabrielle Arias.





Crystal had pretty decent traits: Angler, Couch Potato, Genius, Loner and Workaholic. Those traits resulted in her desire to become a Professional Author.

My list magically reappeared! The other two children are Kimberlee and Tomas. I'll continue updating the names of all of the Grey kids. Off to update the posts!







UP NEXT: Heir # 4

Town 4: Appaloosa Plains

The fourth town that I rolled was one of my personal favorites, Appaloosa Plains! I've spent a lot of time here in this world and have a real appreciation for it. My first attempt at an Immortal Dynasty was here (before the dreaded error code 12 destroyed it...) and then Haiiro's dynasty took place here. Also, when I town jumped in my Jolina DecaDynasty when the file got too bloated and buggy, the Jolina's ended up here in Appaloosa Plains. It's great to be back!

This is where the Greys moved to.



Catalina and Gerard moved out into their own place.



Courtesy of story progression, the two had a daughter. I believe her name was Lashanda.



Dallas and Denver lived together with their respective lives and the siblings started their families. Of course, things weren't always fun and games.



Denver was on his way to work at the gypsy wagon when this happened.





Yep, Denver was just narrowly missed by the meteor. It's a good thing too because, otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to move to this lovely house with Michell and have their three lovely children, Kenya, Washington and Kathy.









Back to Dallas and the next potential heir! For this generation, there were also two heirs to choose from. The first candidate was India.





Her younger sister was named Bristol.





Like Dallas and Denver, I had a difficult time choosing between the two girls. It ultimately came down to who finished their LTW first. India wanted to become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder and Bristol wanted to become a Paranormal Profiteer. In the race to finish their requirements first, the winner ended up being...

Bristol!

Bristol married a man named Bradford Blanco. He is also story progression spawn, the son of Juanita Blanco and Barrington Diamond. Bradford's traits were Brave, Unflirty, Family Oriented, Heavy Sleeper and Friendly. His lifetime wish was to achieve Perfect Mind, Perfect Body.





UP NEXT: Town 5!

Town 5: Twinbrook

The fifth town in the Random Town Jump was Twinbrook. The Grey family packed up and moved to this lovely new abode.



India and Kris moved to their own place after a while and started their own large family. They had four children, Abigail, Janet, Regan and Judson.











I always liked to have two candidates for the next heir per generation, so Bristol and Bradford had two kids. The first born was Camden.





Second up was Boston.





Again, it really came down to who could complete their LTW first and who had a potential spouse. Based on these two requirements, Boston ended up becoming the next heir.

Courtesy of his dad's high level of logic, Boston was able to quickly learn from Bradford.



I love original townies so Boston's wife was original townie spawn: Teresa Sargeant.

I feel bad that I can't dedicate enough time for full chapters, but I completed this challenge and want to see the story through to the end. It was fun, especially getting to cram in as many original townie genetics as possible!

Town 6: Roaring Heights

It was right around this time that I decided to splurge and buy Roaring Heights. Since there was no particular order of towns that I was going in, I figured that now would be a good time to check out my new world. The family had amassed a pretty good stack of simoleons, so they were able to afford this lovely abode upon arrival.



The first order of business was for Boston and Teresa to tie the knot.



Love must have been in the air. When the welcome wagon arrived, Camden found a man she took a fancy to.



By the end of the night, Camden and Gabe had hit it off so well that there were TWO engagements that day.



Everyone got settled in and started working on their skills and whatnot. Boston and Teresa also started working on bringing in the next generation.



Their first child was a little boy named Laramie.



A little girl named Edelira followed afterward.



Laramie and Edelira grew up into lovely young adults. Both ended up looking quite a lot like their Grandpa Bradford.





Laramie's traits were Light Sleeper, Family Oriented, Diva, Artistic Loves the Outdoors. His lifetime wish was to become a Star News Anchor.





Edelira's traits were Good, Friendly, Athletic, Computer Whiz and Avant Garde. The magical random roll gnomes were very kind to me in this generation with both kids' traits. Anyhoo, Edelira's lifetime wish was to achieve Perfect Mind, Perfect Body.

Based on their lifetime wishes, Edelira ended up becoming the next heir. Laramie, however, had quite a nice life of his own. He got together with his longtime friend, Goneril.







Edelira, however, was having a bit of trouble with her love life. Story progression paired her up with a pudding face NPC so, upon aging up into a young adult, they broke up.



He didn't take it too well, but that was tough tacos for him because Edelira had her sights set on another young man.



She fell for Edward Jones of the Jones family of original townies.





Edward and Goneril both moved in and the household was now very full, but that didn't stop Edelira from finishing her physical and mental pursuits.

Camden and Gabe moved out at one point but I apparently misplaced the picture of their house. Anyway, they had three children. Their kids had far more variation in genetics than Laramie and Edelira. So, courtesy of my list of names, Camden and Gabe had 2 children, not three. Where did that third kid come from? Bristol had another baby! The first two are Orlando and Yasmin, Camden and Gabe's kids. The third is Aaron, Bristol and Bradford's son.







Up next: Town 7!

Town 7: Sunset Valley

After a looooong absence, I'm back! Things have been unbelievably busy but I haven't given up on finishing this yet! The RTJ itself is done, but posting is another story.

Anyhoo...back with the story.

The next town is an oldy, but a goody, Sunset Valley.



The first order of business was to bring in the first candidate for heir.



Laramie and Goneril took this time to make their relationship official by Laramie popping the question in the most romantic location possible. Yep, the bathroom.



They moved out shortly after and had some children of their own, the pictures of whom will be posted further down.



Edelira and Edward...I feel like they knew I was watching and taking pictures of them.

Edelira: We know you're there, Watcher!
Edward: The Watcher isn't very stealthy.
Malley: *sigh*



Moving on. A few days later, it was time for the first potential heir to be born. Boston was completely unfazed.



Hudson was welcomed into the family.



A little sister was set to join the family a short time later.



She was named Adelaide.



As per the usual, there were two options for the Sunset Valley heir. First was Hudson.



His traits were Excitable, Perceptive, Technophobe, Rebellious and Kleptomaniac. Hudson's lifetime wish was to Become a Master Thief.



Hudson's future spouse was probably the expected choice for a young man in Sunset Valley but he ended up falling for her anyway: Bella Bachelor.





The second option was Adelaide.



Her traits were Couch Potato, Hates the Outdoors, Adventurous, Shy and Snob. Adelaide's lifetime wish was to be Living in the Lap of Luxury.



Her spouse was Davy Linnell. Is he not the cutest little thing?






The winner ended up being Hudson and Bella as my next heir and spouse. While Hudson joined the criminal career track, Bella opted to become a magician. She booked a couple of shows and had Boston and Laramie/Goneril show up to them sometimes. Once, she picked Boston to participate in one of the shows. He didn't seem too pleased.



Hudson continued working on the athletic skill on his days off from the warehouse and ended up maxing it.



Adelaide had her own little rooftop studio thing where she practiced her skills. She sold enough paintings and the family amassed enough cash to complete her lifetime wish.



Bella followed shortly after...



And Hudson shortly after them.



Once everyone had made enough progress, there were back to back weddings.





With all of the kids married and ready to move on to the next town, it was time to say goodbye to Sunset Valley!

Following Sunset Valley, the family moved out to Bridgeport.



The first order of business, once again, was to try for the first potential heir. Hudson and Bella got right on that task.



A short time later...



Amero joined the family.



Amero was soon to become a big brother.



Little sister Geneva was welcomed into the household a few days later.



When it was time for Amero to age up into a child, his birthday cake was on fire. Edward didn't seem to mind, though. Party on, bro.



Fast forwarding (and avoiding any other disasters), Amero made it to his teen years. My choice of spouse for him was an obvious selection, courtesy of this sim's history in my dynasty...Deidre Littler!



Geneva also got a love interest. This is Zane Angelista. He is the story progression child of Matt Hamming and Tiara Angelista.



So, here are the potential heirs and their respective spouses.

Amero:





His traits were: Eccentric, Virtuoso, No Sense of Humor, Great Kisser, Nurturing. Amero's Lifetime Wish was to become a Hit Movie Composer.

Deidre:





The second choice for heir was Geneva:





Her traits were: Virtuoso, Neurotic, Supernatural Fan, Socially Awkward and Lucky. Geneva's lifetime wish was to become a One Sim Band.

Zane:





And the winner is...Geneva! This was simply because I unconsciously started doing a boy-girl pattern of heirs. Since the last heir was Hudson, Geneva was the next heir by default.

In the meantime, Amero and Deidre got married.



Geneva got to work on maxing her instruments. Not too well to start, if I might add. She looks like she's still having a blast, though, so I guess that's all that matters.



Once she was about halfway through her skilling, Geneva and Zane got married.



With a lot of persistence, Geneva maxed her final skill and completed her lifetime wish of One Sim Band.



Davy and Edelira, after moving out prior to Amero and Geneva growing up, decided their household was a little too empty and were expecting another child.

Town 9: Monte Vista

4 more heirs to go! The 9th town rolled was Monte Vista. The family moved in to this lovely villa. If you look closely, you may recognize this as the house where the prologue of Rigel Duty takes place.



The first order of business was for Deidre and Amero to move out so that Geneva and Zane could start their own family.





With three spots now open in the household, Geneva and Zane got started on bringing in the first candidate for heir. Since I've been doing a boy-girl pattern for heirs, the first boy born into the family would be the heir.



Yeah, so...I soon realized that having open doorways in this house was a BAD idea. The paparazzi would just stroll in and watch the family. Here's Geneva playing chess in her jammies while the paparazzo takes notes. What a weirdo.



While Geneva ran to the bathroom for her morning sickness, the paparazzi was swiftly dealt with and actual doors were put in place. So, moving on. The first Geneva-Zane baby was set to make an appearance very soon.



Bella, despite having two children of her own, helped her daughter in labor by panicking. Mom of the year award, right here.



After kicking Bella out of the room Bella left Geneva in peace and she delivered a baby girl named Dalian.



When Dalian was a toddler, Geneva and Zane tried for baby #2 and were successful.



Once again, Geneva was playing chess when she went into labor.



On the second try, the next heir was born. A little baby boy named Nakano joined the Grey family.



It was business as usual while the kids grew up, so let's fast forward to adulthood, shall we?

First we have Dalian, all grown up.





Her traits were Loves the Outdoors, Insane, Heavy Sleeper, Ambitious  and Gatherer. Dalian's lifetime wish was to become a Master Mixologist.

Her hubby to be was Antonio Monty.





They married in a lovely ceremony in front of the villa fountain.



And...a short time later, Dalian and Antonio were expecting their first nooboo.



The heir for this generation was Nakano.





Nakano's traits were Friendly, Brave, Diva, Proper and Social Butterfly. His lifetime wish was to become a Vocal Legend.

His spouse was Delia Seng, the daughter of Chan and Vanna Seng. She's quite lovely.





They really didn't go for all the whistles and bells for their engagement and wedding like Dalian and Antonio did. Instead, Nakano popped the question and they married right on the spot.



After that, it was off to work for the new couple. Nakano wanted to become a singer, so it was off to the plaza to start performing for tips.



Working his way up, Nakano completed his lifetime wish while performing at a local restaurant. Lifetime wish complete.

Guess what? My name list came back!! It was in the folder where I put the rest of my completed dynasty stuff. I checked that folder when I went to do the Bridgeport update but I swear on the plumbob that it was not there. Well, whatever. I found it and that's all that matters.

Alas, the story is coming to a close. The third to last town was Riverview. The family moved into this lovely abode.



Yes, part of the attraction was the cherry trees



Dalian and Antonio moved out into their own place in order to give more room to Nakano and Delia to bring in the next generation.



The family had two girls: first was Salinas.





Second was Meridian.



After the girls were grown up, Nakano and Delia retired to their own place.



The girls turned out to be quite lovely and definitely opposites. Here is Salinas.



Her traits were Loner, Eccentric, Perceptive, Dramatic and Natural Cook. Salinas' lifetime wish was to become a Menu Maven.



Salinas' future hubby was the story progression child of Jon Lessen and Lorraine Cantina. His name was Franco.



Nice looking boy.



And here is little sister Meridian.



Meridian's traits were Clumsy, Friendly, Adventurous, Handy and Technophobe. Her lifetime wish was to become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder.



At this rate, I was kind of ready to be done with the challenge, so I chose Salinas as the next heir because her LTW was a much quicker finish.

She popped the question to Franco and then hit the cookbooks.

And then there were two! The second to last town in my RTJ was Starlight Shores. Here's where the family moved.



The first order of business was for Salinas and Franco to tie the knot and then bring in the next generation.



A few days later, the result was the first potential heir, Landen.



Meridian, meanwhile, was busy working on her career...at least until a local man caught her eye.



They hit it off pretty quickly and Javed soon moved in to the house and got a makeover.



With both kids having their own families now, Nakano and Delia moved out into their own cozy little love nest.



It was with good reason that they moved out-Salinas and Franco welcomed a second son into the family. His name was Someren.



Once their nephews were a little older, Meridian and Javed decided to tie the knot and then leave the house to start their own family.



As the usual, there were two options for heir. First up was Landen.



He definitely has Franco's face. Anyhoo, Landen was Irresistible, Virtuoso, Genius, Party Animal and Diva. His lifetime wish was to become a Fashion Phenomenon.



Landen's spouse was Ariel Singh, the daughter of Matias and Priscilla Singh.





The second option was Someren.



For some reason, I apparently forgot to take a close up of him. He looks a lot like Nakano, though, just with dark hair. Someren's traits were Insane, Can't Stand Art, Virtuoso, Nurturing and Disciplined. His lifetime wish was to become a Jack of All Trades.

Someren got together with Evelyn Lee, the daughter of Mitch and Sonoko.





Based on the two lifetime wishes, I figured that Someren could finish his first and made him the heir. He went through multiple careers to reach his lifetime wish, starting with Acrobat.



The last career he did was Private Investigator, which he nailed rather quickly courtesy of the Logic skill.

Thank you both! I did enjoy this challenge, especially getting to cram so many original townies into the bloodline as possible, but it was definitely time for the challenge to end and start something new (which I did).

The Final Town!

Here we are at the finish line. Yup, the last town in the Grey RTJ. Beginning many generations ago in Moonlight Falls, we end our journey in an equally magical land called Dragon Valley.



Salinas and Franco moved out while Someren and Evelyn got to work on bringing in the final generation.





Before that, however, there were back to back weddings at the house.





Someren and Evelyn went first.



Landen and Ariel followed suit and tied the knot right afterward.







Chimes were undoubtedly heard that night and the result, a few days later, was a little girl named Rivera.



Evelyn's continued morning sickness was certainly not caused by the fumes of dirty diapers.



Nope. It was all due to another little girl named Senica.



Landen and Ariel continued to reside in the house and help out with the girls until Landen finished his LTW. They moved out once that was finished and eventually had kids of their own.



It's a little hard to see, but that's their cute little munchkin on the ground next to Ariel when a teenage Rivera went to visit her aunt and uncle for some reason.



So, here we are, the final two heiresses. I was kind of ready for the challenge to be over at this point, so I chose the first heiress to complete her lifetime wish as my official heir. That happened to be Rivera.
