[BUG] About Vampires that cant eat food

Just wanted to tell what I found out today playing with my vampires.

One of my vampires have the negative buff that he cant eat food. Another sim in the household made the salad made with plasmafruits -so I was convinced that the one with the negative buff still could eat it because - well it is vampire food after all - but no - he got really sick.
He had to go to the toilet and he vomited and later one more time.
He got that moodlet for eating food at -10 for like 2 hours. BUT .. the funny thing - he also got the positive moodlet at +2 for 4 hours - even he only had one bite of it.
Still I would not recommend letting them eat the vampire salad if they are having the thing about not eating food.

Just wanted to add .. I might also have made it worse .. when he was so sick .. I let him drink some medicine ... and that wont cure the sickness. He got another negative moodlet for having taking medication when not needed.

That thing with the plasma salad is so confusing, I just take the usual route of compelling sims for it instead.

You can also ask a human friend/loved one politely for a "drink". The Sim in question will offer their wrist and won't suffer as much as when you force feed on them. My vampire's human wife acts as sustenance this way when she's able. Kind woman

The plasma salad etc making vamps sick is a bug that Q&A have been able to reproduce so hopefully a fix...soon?

OHH .. thank you ... I was convinced it was made to be like this as I was a bit worried when I gave him the salad - still I did hope he would be able to eat it though.

Glad to know it is a bug and that they are looking into it - I did give it a "me too" anyway in the thread in your link.

Ha! I didn't realize that was even a bug. My first vamp (acquired random NPC) came with the stomach trait and I assumed it meant "all" food, even plasma. I had this mental image that Sim vampire fangs fed directly into the circulatory system so the traits meant the usual medical order of "nothing by mouth" or absorbed through intestines. Strict absorption via .. fang?

But, it looks like it is a bug! Amusingly I already had her make the drink to respec since she was, of all things, a foodie too. Ironically she fed of her mother-in-law to be who her fiance still lives with. But *only* after she became pregnant. The things some Sim grandmothers will do for grandchildren!
