Um, well nobody really does anything on Boxing Day, anyway. Mainly just eating leftovers ;)
So you don't know what Joria's talking about, then?
Not a clue. ???

You said you would have an update on boxing day Joria was telling you it was boxing day to remind you that you promised an update. At least I think that was it.
When I was a child I would cry every boxing day. When my mum asked me why I said because its the longest time ever till next christmas.

Great update by the way.

Thanks ratchie, I got it now!  :D
Glad you guys liked it, you don't think it'll get boring as the pacing is so slow? I never thought of Boxing day like that, but when you think about it, it is such a long time til next Christmas :(
EDIT- Sorry, Joria, for me wondering about your hint. Silly me! *Smacks palm to head*

I don't think the pacing is slow at all. Once your family begins to grow things will speed up and you won't have time to catch your breath enjoy the peace and quiet while you can.

Whenever a sim moves in, they usually bring a couple thousand dollars with them I vote she gets married. :)

I would let Billi get married and have kids then concentrate on her career and lifetime wish. It always annoys me when my Sims career gets interrupted by maternity leave.

Well it depends. If she is going to have a rabbit hole job, get the kids out of the way early. I know that sounds wrong and I'm sorry but it's how I feel. If she is going to be self-employed, whatever you want to do! I just remembered she works at City Hall, so I'd suggest getting the kid out of the way!  ;D I'm not that twisted in real life I promise!

Well, she's going to be working at City Hall, and that's her LTW, but sculpting in her free time (For money and furniture) so yeah, I think I will get the kids "out of the way" :D

Chapter 5- Billi And Friends

TUESDAY

Billi was up at dawn, sculpting some unknown object, but hopfully something suitable for someone who lives in a field

Billi's snazzy, blue carpool arrived, ready to take her off to work as an Intern. Which still sounds slightly better then a Ballot Counter.

Holy Simoly! What is she wearing?
Billi- Wow! Just like my Gran's fave outfit!
Exactly.

After work, Billi decided to go to the pool, instead of calling her future co-fonder, or working on her skills. Smart cookie, right?

Soon, Billi is chatting to a girl called Bunny Williams, and has an extra Charisma skill point. Well, not a total waste of time, then.
They have a lot in common, both being Childish, Clumsy redheads. And both missing the ability to play attention when somebody is talking.

Charming. Simply charming.

Billi bids goodbye to her new friend and heads home, sleepy and smelly.

Billi has a lovely dream, involving her rescuing Shayne from a dragon, and Shayne then rewarding her with-

WEDNESDAY

Wake up! Charisma skill practice time!
Billi- Yes, ma'am!

I have no idea why Billi's carpool driver lets her out on the wrong side of the building. I'm pretty sure even Billi's smarter than that. No offence.
Billi- None taken, Ma'am!

A large number of people were hanging around outside the City Hall while Billi was at work, but they all seemed to disappear when they saw her. Huh. Must have had places to go... Anyway she had a chat to the one remaining teen, but they didn't really hit off.

So she found Bunny and talked to her.
Bunny- There was this bird on the water fontion! A bird!
Billi- Hun-gry!

Some Level 2 hot dogs were served.

Billi mused that Bunny might not be to keen on them
Bunny- Help! I'm dying slowly!

And after Billi reveled the trick to making great hot dogs-
Billi- You don't need to use a saucepan! You just put them straight on the public grill!
They became best friends.

Billi- Um, you better go... I need to sleep
Bunny- See ya! I need to go brush my teeth anyway.

Sorry about the update delay. Busy time of year ;)
