@Nikitachi, @Deklitch, of course you guys are welcome at the party.

Anyway, my Simself finally completed her fossil collection found the Hilariously Tiny T-Rex Arms fossil on Week 1, Saturday, at 3:24 am -- 8364 minutes after she started.

Now I'm questioning whether I understand correctly - we have to host a gold medal party after we have everything collected, and we post the time at the end of the party, right?  Or can we host the party before everything is collected?

I read it the first way and that is how I did it.

The way it's worded says first go on a scavenger hunt, then throw a gold medal party. Throwing the party while waiting for the cool down between swiping to expire could shave off a significant amount of time, anywhere from about 2-5 hours if you get the gold on the first try and it gives an advantage if the player doesn't get the gold at first. Then, you basically have "free" time to keep trying.

That may not be what was intended, but that is how I read it, for whatever that's worth! :)

That's how I read it also, but I wasn't sure based on @MarianT 's post - it sounded to me like the time being identified is when the last item was found.  That's what has me confused.

Hi MarianT. Just wondering, the rules say "you need to go on a Scavenger Hunt first and then throw your own gold-medal party" which I'd have thought most people would interpret as you have to collect everything before you can have the party. It won't affect me really as my score will be way down the leader board anyway, but couldn't that significantly affect some people's scores?

Well, Sarleenia managed to finish on Wednesday of week 1 at 18:58, giving a score of 4978. Not sure how I managed that but I was lucky with the angel fish!

You can have the party any time.

Not according to the ruleset, @MarianT

The ruleset says the following:

To join the party, you need to go on a Scavenger Hunt first and then throw your own gold-medal party.

How does that equate to throwing the party at any time?

I've asked the team to make my score a DNF.

Sue Denim died of old age having caught 38 different kinds of fish (not 38 fishes.  38 types) - not a single one of which was an angelfish.

This challenge seemed so easy when I read the instructions.

Lol Metro, I don't even remember that movie but I do remember that reference. I'm just popping in to clarify that my Simself threw her party after collecting all of the items (Yes the fossil and angelfish included) as that was how I read the rules. :) Sorry about your score @MarianT :( You'll probably destroy me at the next challenge, along with everyone else, I never do retail, I'm still not sure what the best approach is, oh well, I'll just bumble along I guess! Realm Of Magic has not been helping me practice either, lol. (Shirks off more practice and buzzes off to play more Realm Of Magic).

I had some trouble to get Angelfish and the fossil, took much longer than expected. Anyhow, completed 2nd week, Monday 3.02 pm, final score is 11.998. Sul sul, have fun all.

Well I wasn't going to do any tournament challenges this year so I could concentrate on my RDC, but it's the forum birthday party and I couldn't resist.

I finished on Tuesday Wk 1 at 1.13am for a score of 2473.  My simself is in the gallery but she thinks she is wearing cc, even though she isn't.
