Ambrosia Time
As Joanna has already let spill, I finally earned my promotion to Leader of the Free World, and with that completed my LTW. It's everything I hoped it would be - and the perks are pretty sweet! Not many people get chauffeured around in a white stretch limo with diplomatic plates!
And now, with just days before my elder birthday, I'm making last minute phone calls to everyone I know in order to ensure I have my best friends all set. When I'm not working I relax in the hot tub or practice mixology with Grandma Jasmine. I'm almost as skilled as she is now. We joke about doing tag team moonlighting at The Prosper Room.
Joanna's writing career is coming along nicely. She will be leaving for France right after my birthday - one of our friends there has requested a copy of her latest novel and, frankly, she could stand to get out of the house a for a while. Other than Grandma Joce, I've never seen such as single-minded person.
Finally the big day has arrived! Hmmm...what to wish for...
...ummm, this is definitely NOT the look I was going for! Ah well, at least I've still got my figure!
I decided to buck tradition a bit and not dye my hair. I think the color is quite attractive as it is.
Once I got myself put together, Grandma Jess grabbed me by the arm and dragged me into the studio to pose for my portrait and ice sculpture. While she worked I mentally ran down my list of requirements and determed that, once the portrait and sculpture were complete, I could have my first ambrosia! I also realized that, as much as I love my job, I want to slow down and relax a bit. I think I've earned it.
It didn't take long for Grandma Jess to work her magic, and now I'm ready to choke down enjoy my first taste of ambrosia!
As my chapter of the Starr dynasty draws to a close, it is up to my lovely daughter to write the conclusion - both literally and figuratively.
