I couldn’t explain how I knew, but the voice that had called me a few before had been evil. It wasn’t from this world; the world of the living.
But I knew if I told anyone about it, they’d put it down to me being scared of a prank call. For this reason, I kept the call to myself.

I decided I needed to keep myself occupied to keep the thoughts off my mind. Thankfully, life seemed to have planned that out for me already.

On James’ last night of being a young adult, he became a Five-Star Chef, earning our family a fancy fridge. For some reason, everyone loves the fridge, and seem to happy from just walking past it. I guess it symbolises our family’s hard work in this town. At least that’s what I say.

The next day I took James to the spot where we first became engaged. I loved this spot; it was beautiful, with the most perfect memories.
I kissed my love, wishing him a happy birthday.

Of course, nothing much changed except he was a day older than yesterday.

When we got home, the kids were painting together. The two of them were inseparable, doing everything together. I wondered if that would change once they became teens.

I didn’t have long to wait for the answer to that, as it was also the twins birthdays. We had a party in the backyard, and although I dressed the twins in their best outfits, they both changed into their swimwear before coming out to the party to blow out their candles.

They both aged up to be lovely-looking teenagers. Leda had my Dad Thornton’s eye colour.

I persuaded Leda to get changed into something more appropriate before joining the party again. She put on her every day wear, instead of formal wear, but at least that was better than swimwear.

I was busy socialising, when I looked over to see Leda talking to a boy. I didn’t know much about him, but I knew his name was Jamie, and he lived in the old Landgraab mansion.

I giggled to myself, knowing all too well what it was like to be young, and braced myself for the years to come of boys, parties, tantrums and rebellion.

Dang. Jamie looks like a clone of Thornton, doesn't he? Or is it the haircut and the suit throwing me off?

Wow, now that you say it, he does in that picture. Though, straight on, his eyes and mouth are a bit different.  Maybe he's just aspiring to be like "The Great Thornton Wolff".

But that's a bit strange if Leda starts dating a boy that looks like her Grandfather :D
At least he doesn't look like Thornton when he becomes a young adult.

Although Leda and Arche were now teens, two things hadn’t changed since their childhood.

Firstly, they were still inseparable, spending almost every moment with one another, whether it be homework, sculpting, painting, shopping or just relaxing.

Secondly, they still hadn’t dropped the habit of talking to themselves. When they were children, I had tried to put my mind at rest by assuring myself it was just child’s play. But now that they were teenagers, I knew that something was definitely wrong.
I decided it was time to take them to the doctor. They needed proper help.

I waited outside the hospital for the kids. One hour passed. Two hours passed. Three hours passed.
What was going on!?

I barged into the Dr. Pedersons room to see what was taking so long, only to see  Arche, Leda and Dr. Pederson talking to themselves. I sighed in frustration. Of course the only psychiatrist in town was insane. Just my luck.

Not to my surprise, the next day Leda and Arche wanted to visit Dr. Pederson again. I decided to give up on looking for a cure to the constant self-babble, and just let them do what they wanted.
I quietly wondered what Grandma Luna would have thought to see that she had two insane grandchildren. I hoped that she wouldn’t be disappointed.

When they found out Dr. Pederson had been sent to a “safe and secure location”, they were rather disappointed. I admit that I felt rather smug.
So instead of mumbling to themselves, the twins decided to give socialising a go.

Arche decided to try and woo Marcie Cotton in only his underwear and shirt. Apparently she was impressed by his nonsense-speak. Each to their own, I thought.

Leda, on the other hand, bumped into Jamie. I could tell by the way the Jamie talked to Leda that there was something there. I even heard him tell her that her craziness was the most gorgeous thing he’d ever seen.
With that, they moved in and shared their first kiss.

I stopped to evaluate my thoughts. I wasn’t angry at my angels for being insane, and I didn’t want to start coming off that way. I was angry that there was no help for them. Although they were teens, they were still my babies.
If I could, I would help them myself, but I wasn’t a doctor. I didn’t know how.
But after seeing Arche make a friend, and Leda find love, I knew that things would change. Others accepted them just as they were, and that’s all I ever wanted.
If others could accept them, then they didn’t need to change. They were my angels, and I would love them just the same – insane babble or not.

Yay for crazy doctors! *Confetti*

The two new romantic interest both look very acceptable to me, I think you've made some fine choices, now I just have to sit here and wait until they age up to see what their nooboos will look like.  :D

A belated Happy Birthday to the twins!

It seems Luna's insanity skipped two Generations; nice to see it's not entirely lost!

The kids appear to be growing up just fine, Europa has nothing to worry about, even Luna grew out of the worst of her insanity when she got older.

Happy birthday everyone! The kids look much like their parents.

I really like Leda's wardrobe - great color and pattern choices!

A crazy psychiatrist - oh my! Leda and Jamie make up a very cute couple! :D

Awesome update!

Soon after, Leda and Jamie became official. He was a sweet boy, always taking her on dates to the movies or art museum. Leda was infatuated with him.

Leda and Arche grew so quickly; I could hardly understand where the time had gone. I was surprised when they asked me if they could have a party for their adult birthdays.

As requested, we invited a few friends to our house to watch my babies grow into adults. I admit that I stifled a tear as I watched them blow out their candles.

Leda waited a few days for Jamie to have his birthday, and then invited him over to our house. After plenty of hugging, kissing, giggling and flirting, Leda admitted her true feelings to Jamie.
She told him that he was the one she wanted to spend her life with; that nothing else would make her happier.

Jamie, being a hopeless romantic, pulled Leda into another kiss. It was then that Leda got down on one knee and proposed marriage.
Jamie jumped up and down, squealing like a young school girl. I had to hold back the laughter as I watched from the garden.

After another hour or so of canoodling, Leda approached me. She wanted to know if Jamie could move in with us.
I really saw no reason to say no – he’d have to move in here eventually.

Leda went skipping off, with a huge smile upon her face to tell Jamie the news. I was so happy to see my daughter happy.

As soon as he moved in, we gave Jamie’s wardrobe a bit of a makeover. He scrubbed up to be quite a charming young man.

After a tiring day, we all headed to bed. Just before I fell asleep, I heard a lullaby chime through the air.
