I was going through a review for the Sims 4, when I noticed it called it the "Sandbox of Terror". I couldn't help but laugh.

It has gotten me to thinking... One of the draws of the Sims [Or any simulation game] is the game is what you make it.

Speaking of fire, this is what happened when my sim's family ate Hot and Sour soup:

I always found sims' wild reaction to hot and sour soup especially ridiculous, since I've eaten the stuff and it's not even all that spicy.

Anyone ever notice the number on the back of the hockey snowman in Seasons? 99 was the jersey number worn by Wayne Gretzky, arguably the greatest NHL hockey player of all time. It would seem that EA made a nice little homage to him.

There are a lot of awesome easter eggs in the game. My favorites have to be the Breaking Bad-themed street art pieces. I have a pic of one of them from my game:



Ignoring my sim in the foreground, the piece in back of her (the hat/sunglasses/mustache one) was lifted from Breaking Bad; it's a stylized image of Heisenberg/Walter White:

@ Trip - Easter egg...that's the term I was trying to think of but couldn't remember. It's been a long week.

Here's one that some of our older members (and any fans of retro television) might get:



The in-game fire truck is emblazoned with the number 51. This appears to be in reference to the 1970's era T.V. show Emergency!, a medical/rescue drama featuring the firefighters of Station 51 in Los Angeles.

My mother (who loves that show) got a laugh out of it when I showed her.
