You can make a Pet under your control choose your Sim as a BFF as well. Sometimes it just happens though.

I don't think there is, I have not seen any anyway. I have yet to see my own Unicorn as well, although I have not got that far into the game yet for one to possibly spawn.

Anyone figured this out yet? Am stuck! She is BFF with 2 horses, 1 wild horse, 1 dog, 2 cats, 1 Sim (Yes I am cheating  :P)
And how am I supposed to know I did it? Where's the Cannon horse? Frustrating.

EDIT: Alright. Never mind that ^^. I found the unicorn after Kat's long day of Unicorn Hunting. And it said yes! Yay ! Happy Dance.
So you do need 3 BFF of any kind.

It takes my unicorn 101 days to age.
I just adopted one, she also blessed my sim which was very cool to see. The horn lid up and sparkled my Sim in the air.
It's really cool too see the unicorn gallop around, it's like Nyan cat with sparkles and stuff.




And when it drinks water a rainbow appears.

Do you have the LTR that makes your animals live longer? Animal Expert is it?

No, I had my settings on Epic, on normal it's 101 days to age :)

Hmm... My unicorn can curse flora... I need the crops, so not trying yet... haha..

Ok, I was just reading the official forums, not talking just reading haha and ran across a thread that may help us. Here it is, I hope it's accurate but it's not on Carl's guide.  ;D Also, congrats to all the ones that have found one! I haven't yet, but then again I need to actually play instead of looking at threads how to get one.  :D

EDIT: I saw one!! It was a black one. Here's the pic of the cloud and the unicorn. Before you look at them, remember I'm having severe deformed animal problems.  :D


Also, I didn't manage to get there before he/she poofed away but at least I saw one!

Yay, Penelope just asked Talon (male black unicorn) to join the household and he accepted. She was BFF with her three horses. I'm playing my game with a long lifespan and Talon has 176 days before he ages to elder!

I kept looking at night in town view (looking for the cloud). When he turned up, it was usually at Cinnamon Crest Falls or the Water Treatment works.

Okay, can anyone confirm this for me? My sim adopted a black unicorn. It was male. Are the white ones female and the black ones male then? Or does it just vary? Also, my sim had one sim best friend, three horse BFFs, and one dog BFF--for those who are trying to figure out the requirements.
