Exactly right - thank you CreativeCrayola!  This has never been one of my favorite hair styles but I put it on Pearl and it just fit - it is so her.

I absolutly agree! I normally hate that style, but Pearl really suits her  :D

I agree about that hair. I don't think I have ever used it either, but it looks good on PEarl :D
Poor Mr Pickles, idk why, but sometimes the animal deaths make me sadder then the actual sim deaths. I think it is because they don't beg. BTW, your title reminds me of Four Weddings and a Funeral, one of my favorite movies :D

The Fish Whisperer

As Tasha and I expected, Pearl was total absorbed with fishing (when she wasn't presiding over the royal court, that is.)



We took a day trip to the best fishing spot in all of Appaloosa Plains, the water treatment facility, so Pearl could put her new found knowledge into practice.  Her first catch was a rather unimpressive minnow, but it might have well as been a swordfish for how excited she was.  She quickly improved her skill with each successive cast and Tasha and I gave appreciative 'oohs' and 'ahhs' for encouragement.



No doubt about it, our little girl has quite a talent...you might even say she is the 'fish whisperer.'

Before the weekend was out, Pearl had completed her lifetime wish - with some help from a stockpile of perfect fish Dad had left behind for just such a situation.



Monday morning seemed to come faster than any of us imagined and it was time for Pearl's first day of school.  Tasha had signed her up for scouting thinking that would be a perfect fit for her interests.  Even so, she wasn't too enthusiastic about her first day of classes...



Despite her initial misgivings, Pearl loved school and was an excellent student - quickly making it on to the honor roll.  I wish I could say she was well liked among her classmates, but the sad truth is there are hardly any other children her age in school.  She has made one friend and they get along like two peas in a pod, but that's it.

Back at home time seemed to be dragging its heels.  Tasha spent every free moment making floor hygienators so that she could eventually build master inventions.



I earned my final promotion at work and have made a resolution to go golfing once a week.  It's hard for me to relax when the people of our fair town need medical attention.

Mom has found some new hobbies...with Grandma Meg as her sometimes accomplice...





Grandma Raven and Grandma Glenys are working on our cut gem collection - we now have most large skull cuts and about half the large star cuts.



Grandma G has also become quite the musician and is getting offers to perform all over town.  Mostly she just practices around the house where we can enjoy her music.



Even Nova has settled in as if he was always part of the family.  Of course with several animal lovers in the house he is never wanting for love and affection.



That crazy cat likes to play in the bathtub for reasons beyond my ken.



As the week drew to a close it was time for Pearl's birthday.  She is a beautiful girl and if there are any boys in her high school class they better behave or they'll have to answer to me.

Yes, it's called The Professional.  It's actually the hair she aged up with and it seemed to work for her so I kept it.

Grandmothers in this story crack me up! Although I guess they have to get creative since they will pretty much live forever!
