Ares: "And you're sure about this thing?"
Rica: "Sure."
Artie: "Just get in there and activate it!"
Rosemary: "Don't yell at him."
Artie: "Shut it woman.  He's my son and he shouldn't be afraid of anything."
Ares: "Everyone shut up!"
Baxtor: "I can't wait for you people to leave just so we can get some quiet around here for once."


Ares: "HEY HERE IT IS.  CHINA RIGHT?"
Artie: "Speak a little louder.. the crater didn't hear you.    Yes China.   Everyone grab your inventory."
Ares: "Rica.. do I really have to bring the rest of the house?"
Rica: "If you don't take your father, I'm fairly certain you're going to either be murdered or become a eunuch.  I would just take him to get the extra days."
Ares: -grunts- "Fine.  Ok.  "
Rica: "Hrm.  Two old people and three young adults, all prepared travelers..Here you guys go.. 18 days in beautiful Shang Simla!"


Artie: "Whoa! I don't remember this flying thing before."
Rosemary: "Shhh!"


Rica: "Oh hey.. That's what your PJs look like."
Artie: "Yeah I don't know why I never wear these. "


Ares: "Hmm.  Let's see.  What about this one?"
Rica: -reads the adventure- "That's as good a spot to start as any other.  "
Artie: -tapping foot- "Will you hurry it up already! I've been waiting a really long time to get here you know."
Rica: "Oh shut it.  You're not allowed to get any adventures."
Artie: "What?!"
Rica: "You can join your son in the tombs but you're not doing any on your own.  Ares will be the one getting the visas."
Artie: -grumblegurgle-


Artie: -evil laughters- "I made it.. I finally made it.. Mwahahahahahahaha ha hahaha--" -cough-
Rica: -snickers- "Alright everyone it's time to split up but no one do anything stupid ok?  I would really hate to have to take this away."


Rica: "You sure that's how you do it?"
Buzz:" That's what they told me to do when I asked."
Rica: "I think you're the victim of local entertainment.  Maybe you should go to the market and pick up the book to see what it says."
Buzz: "That doesn't sound like much fun.  I think I'll just keep trying this for a little while."
Rica: "Suit yourself."


Rica: "That's a face I want to share with millions."
Artie: "Go away woman."
Rica: "What's wrong, old man?"
Ares: "Dad.. have you finished moving that statue yet?  I'm ready to go into the next room and I've already disarmed all four traps."
Artie: "This is what's wrong! What is with all this manual labor?!"
Ares: "Dad!"
Artie: "You want it done faster.. you do it!"


Ares: "If it's too much for you old man.  You can go back to base camp."
Artie: "I don't think so.  I think I'll just look at this wall over here and you can deal with the rubble piles like a good little adventurer."
Ares: -grumbles under his voice- "Oh yea.. how about I lock you in that room after you enter it.?"
Rica: "Calm down, you two. Just think of all the coins and treasure that can be found faster if you work together.  Plus Artie.. you've maxed your athletic.  That means you should be able to show up your kid on how well you can push the statues around."
Artie: "Woman.  I'm the emperor and the emperor doesn't push around anything. "
Rica: "Whatever."


Ares: "Whee!"
Artie: "That's right.. Have fun.  I'm going to stay here where it's dry."


Sima Zhi: -screams to be heard over the MP3 player- "THANK YOU!  I'LL TELL MY SISTER LU THAT YOU DID THIS AND TO GIVE YOU A LEVEL 1 VISA."
Ares: "Why are you yelling?"
Sima: "Oh Sorry."


Ares: "Oh and let me introduce myself so that you are sure to get it right when you talk to your sister.  I'm Ares the god of Love.. "
Sima: "Right.. how impressive!"
Rica: "How revolting.. Ok Romeo off to get another adventure."


Rica: "So let me get this right.   You're supposed to be beating on people for visa points?"
Ares: "Shush woman.  I'm trying to win here."
Rica: "Where's your father?"
Ares: "I don't care.  Go away before I lose!"


Artie: "I bet you wouldn't guess that being a criminal actually requires a very logical mind."
Dakota: "Uh huh.. It's still your turn though.. like it has been for 10 minutes."
Artie: "You can't rush perfection!"
Rica: "Good to know you're keeping busy."
Dakota: "Don't distract him or this game won't finish before it's time to go home."


Rica: "Whoa whoa whoa.  Hey Romeo.  Is this the great kissing tour of Shang Simla?"
Relic Vendor Whose Name I've Forgotten: -thinks - Wow this is the third person I've seen him kiss today.
Rica: "Me too!"
Relic Vendor: "Who said that?!"
Lu Zhi (Special Vendor): -swoons-

Ricanote: Seriously - third woman he's met and the third one he wanted to kiss for the first time.



Buzz: "Hey.. check this out.  I got another new belt."
Rica: "Wow.. already?  I think you need to find something else to do in china."
Buzz: "Why? "
Rica: "Why not?"
Buzz: "True.  It would be nice to photograph the temple and maybe get some photos of other things while I'm up there."
Rica: "Have a nice run!"


Rica: "What about you?  Want to do something other than martial arts for a while?"
Rosemary: "I actually enjoy breaking boards.  I hear Ares has been kissing women all over China so I imagine his face when I finally go for the break."
Rica: "How therapeutic of you.  Ok.  You can continue but I just figured you'd want to go pick the ripe cherry trees down the road."
Rosemary: "Actually that sounds like a great idea.  I'll do that when I get tired of this."
Rica: "Awesome possum."


Rica: "Taking a break from adventuring?"
Ares: "More like two birds one stone.. now go away.  It's nice to not have any distractions for once."
Rica: "Well excuse me Romeo."

Artie: "Hey look at what I can do!"
Dakota: "Ugh Artie.. you could at least try to do it without sweating."
Artie: "Why?  I don't stink ever."
Rica: "That's a lie."


Lu Zhi: "Wow.  You finished that place in record time.  I think you've done enough to warrant a Level 2 Visa... honey bun."
Ares: "Pssst.  Cool it with the honey bun stuff.  I don't want anyone to think I'm getting special compensation."
Lu Zhi: "Right...Then maybe you shouldn't have kissed me here in the market yesterday."


Ares: "I'm sorry honey bun.  Accept these flowers and forgive me?"
Lu Zhi: "Oh! They're so beautiful.  Of course, I forgive you."


Lu Zhi: "I can't believe you tried to keep me from calling you honey bun!"
Ares: "What in the world is happening?!"
Rica: "Whoa!  Mean-spirited  alert."


Lu Zhi: "What do you mean we're breaking up?"
Ares: "Sorry honey pain in my buns but no one yells at me and gets away with it.  We're over like bell bottoms."
Rica: "You're weird."
Ares: "Just get me out of here before the crying starts.. I hate listening to women cry."
Rica: "We just got a call about some boulder someone wants removed."
Ares: "Yeah sorry sweetie.  I'd love to stick around and mend that broken heart but I think it's time to go check out something about a boulder."
Lu Zhi: "I hope you die down in that tomb!"


Ares: "This thing is so awesome!"


Ares: "It's really shiney.. I like shiney."
Rica: "No comment."


Ares: "Whoops.  Almost dropped.. think that would be bad?"
Rica: "Yes."


Ares: "Oh man.  I so want to keep this."


Rica: "What's wrong?"
Ares: "That was it, wasn't it?"
Rica: "What do you mean?"
Ares: "All this work for just some silly old axe thing that I can't even keep."
Rica: "Ye of little faith.  Just go up and down a few more stairs over here and I'll show you something."


Rica: "I'm serious.. Just use the axe on the boulder."
Ares: "This is so not going to work and I'm going to feel it in every bone of my body like one of those cartoons."
Rica: "That would be hilarious but really.. finish the swing.. I double dog dare you."
Ares: "Ooo you went there."
Rica: "I so did."


Ares: "Grim Smash!"
Rica: " Feel better?"
Ares: "Best toy ever!"


Rica: "Whoo level 3!"
Ares: -at same time- "Whoo! I get to keep the axe!"
Rica & Ares: -again same time- "What?"
Ares: "Silly woman.. it's all about the axe."
Rica: "Silly red boy.. it's all about the vacation home."
Ares: "You going to build one or are we buying a premade?"
Rica: -scoffs- "We still have so much more work to do.  You are getting a premade one for now."


Ares: "Now what?"
Rica: "Now it's time to win the tournament."
Ares: "Heck yeah!"
Artie: "Woman!  I can't find a way into the kitchen that doesn't require me going halfway around the world.  Fix. It. Now."
Rica: "Pushy Pushy.. Fine.  I'll add a door or something but I'm not doing a major overhaul.  I don't feel like it."
Dakota: "Hm.  I think I'll paint a few things to make it more homey."
Rosemary: "Hey now I don't have to go to the academy to break rocks."
Buzz: "Hey.. now I can sit at home and play video games!"
Artie: "What is wrong with you people?  Don't you have standards?!  Oooh shiny new computer.  I've never trolled a chinese forum before."
Rica: "Yeah I'm good like that."

Ah, nothing like the Chinese Vacation home, good for all that ails a simmer. Unless what ails a simmer is being bored while your sims are in a vacation home in China.

Ares: "Shut up woman.  It didn't turn the way it's supposed to."
Rica: "Uh huh - Maybe instead of beating on some wood you should go beat on some people."
Ares: "What a great idea.  I think I'll go to the academy to call people over."



Rica: "Just once I'd like you to wear an actual martial arts uniform."
Ares: "Away.  Busy."
Tournament challenger: "Who are you talking to?"
Ares: -scores point at her distraction-  "Maybe you should stick around."




Rica: My favorite part about these pictures is flipping through them.  I feel bad for little Wei Pei but at the same time not so much.


Rica: "What are you doing?"
Ares: "That kid I beat up says that I can't break a space rock and I wanted to prove him wrong."
Rica: "Why are you doing it in your swimwear?"
Ares: "Because that one chinese paparazzi isn't bad looking."
Rica: "Oy.  Go ahead.. break your hand. I can't wait to see this."


Ares: "Kiai!" [hey I did learn something at my nephew's karate lessons]
Rica: "Holy donut holes batman.. you did it."
Ares: "Of course I did.  I'm awesome remember?"
Rica: "No, I don't remember that at all. "
Ares: "Not funny."
Rica: "Well don't break your hand on the next one.  Another 5 minutes left on fatigued."



Rica: "Wait! Why are you fighting Buzz?!"
Buzz: "Yeah why are we fighting?"
Ares: "You're the next challenger.  The tournament ref said so."
Buzz: "This can't be right."
Rica: "Ok.. don't hurt him too bad.  I love Buzz."
Buzz: "Aww."
Artie & Ares: "Blech"


Ares: -maxes Martial Arts- "Aw yea."
Rica: "One down , one more to go for your lifetime goal, my friend."
Ares: "I'm only a couple more away from winning this thing too!"


-loud music- It is China's great honor to announce that Ares Grim is the official winner of this year's Sim Fu Tournament.  Everyone give a warm round of applause for our champion who woke up half the village today to get in the last rounds he needed.
Ares: "You don't have a sister or a wife around do you?"
Bao Louie: "No.  Why?"
Ares: "I don't know.  I kind of feel like a victory kiss or something."
Bao: -blanches- "So you asked if I had a wife?!"
Ares: "I can see how you would be worried I would steal her but trust me I wouldn't.  I'm not ready to settle down.  I think I'll go now though.  Maybe a tomb will do me some good."
Rica: -just shakes her head-


Rica: "So Ares just finished the tournament."
Dakota: "Yeah we heard the announcement."
Artie: "That's my boy.  Doing what's got to be done to get things done."
Buzz: ".... Maybe you should get more sleep. "
Rosemary: "I don't think it will help.  Does this mean we're going home?"
Rica: "No Ares wants to do some more tomb exploring I think."


Ares: "Hey which one of you lazy people would like to accompany me up to the Dragon Cave?"


Dakota & Rosemary: -same time- "I will!"
Rica: "Oh this is not going to go well for any of us..."
Ares: "Alright let's go, ladies."
Artie: "What's the worst that could happen?" -as they walk out the door-
Buzz: "The girls kill each other and Ares gets sent to Chinese prison."
Artie: "Nah..."

Ricanote: Sorry for a lot of images with no commentary but I just thought it was awesome how he kicked so much butt.  He had really good luck with the tournament and finished it with another 4 days left on 18 day vacation after spending the first like 7 or 9 days getting to Visa Level 3.
