Mansion, The Abandoned Nectary rebuild
« on: March 01, 2011, 07:08:34 PM »
I'm as done as I want for sharing for the Abandoned, (not any more!), Nectary in Champs Les Sims.

Name:  The Abandoned Nectary Remodel

Lot size:  64x64

Price:  $420,261  furnished only

Bedrooms:  7

Bathrooms:  8 plus 1- 1/2 bath

This requires every Expansion Pack and Stuff Pack up to and including Outdoor Living and many, many store items.

I don't think I'll have to say too much about this one.  The pictures pretty much say it all.  I did make a few changes once I got it on the lot in Sunset Valley.  There are two, "secret", attick rooms accessible only by teleporting until EA gives us  the kind of lifts we had in Sims 2.   I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed rebuilding it.

First photo:  In France, front entrance

Sunset Valley

Front water garden

After this the rooms are almost superfluous.

Dining room, part of kitchen and powder room:

Kitchen, part of lounge.  Sorry, forgot to do a pic of the lounge.

Christmas Thyme's Kinder Kottage:

Basement:  incomplete

Garage:  Guest room

Garage:  Artist studio and hideaway

There are more photos in my album in the gallery but I'm not sure how to post the link.  The bedrooms and more are there.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Wonderful re-build, but I can't get the link to work for me.  Says the page doesn't exist.

Joria, it's gorgeous!  I love what you've done with the place, and I have major 'stuff' envy right now.   :)

You to? I always get that problem when I am about to download something!

I have to agree with the others, this rebuild version looks very nice, and practical to live in.

Gasp!
It is truly beautiful Joria. I don't know any other Simmer who could turn a drab place such as the The Abandoned Nectary into a the amazing home you have built.
Keep on building! ;D

Wow Joria!  That's lovely!

I especially like the water garden, you really put a lot of detail and thought into it.  The levels of foliage are just beautiful!

Thank you, one and all.

I've had some problems downloading as well.  What I do after I click the link, is minimize my browser and when that little download box thingie shows up, I right click on the item I'm downloading and select "Open".  It maybe just the difference in the system, (windows 7), but works for me.

Oh my god! I just saw this now and my first reaction to the picture and the knowlege that this is actually build for the sims 3 and not King Luise, was ... my jaw hit the floor. Oh my god! Instantly downloaded.

Awwww, you guys just made my day.  I've put it in my remodel of Barnacle Bay, now called Enchanted Havens, and I've done a bit of remodel to it.  Not much, just a few things that weren't quite right before and had to take out some things before my pc started cussin' at me.  (no umbrellas on the patio for instance).  When I finish it up I'll reload version 2, complete with greenhouse.
