Is it possible to place a commercial boat at a port?

Hoping someone can help with this.

I downloaded from the exchange a boat restaurant, it shows up in 'show community lots' when in edit town. But when I select 'place copy' no lots are available.

I'm assuming that its because ports accept residential lots but is there a way to edit a port to accept this?

Maybe place an empty port down (of the appropriate size), and see if you can change the port to community after you placed it, and put your community boat down? I don't know if it will work (I will test later), but it may.

Or maybe ask the creator to upload as a residential lot?

Thank you I'll try that. I'll try to get in touch with the creator too I'm not sure how to do that but I'll have a look.
