How do you get really close up pictures. The + button only takes me in so far. Is there any way to get closer in?

Are you familiar with "camera" mode, accessed by hitting Tab? It allows for different camera controls - movement is slightly different, and there's a much closer "zoom in".

I knew about camera mode, I just didn't know its uses or how to get onto it. Thank you

I think I found it by accident, one time when the user interface disappeared and the camera controls were all funny.
To get out of it, hit Tab again, or hit Esc.

I tried it as soon as I replied. I figured as much. Thank you again though

One problem with tab mode is the camera doesn't move with your sim which means, unless your sim is stationary (like at a birthday party) you need to pause the game.

I'm moving this to the Miscellaneous Help board because it's about playing in the game and not the game mechanics.
