Removing cc then adding it back

I'm planning on removing all my cc to repair my game and then adding it back. My question is when I add it back will my Sims with cc still have the same outfits or will I have to go back and edit them again?

If you remove the cc and then add it back without opening your save in between they will keep all their cc. If you open the game in between sometimes they spawn other outfits,  but most likely will just be nude and bald.
