A bug with the well rested moodlet?

So I've been working on a household lately with an adult man, 2 adult women and an elder woman, and for some reason the moods of the 2 adult women were plummeting for no apparent reason. All of their needs were green and reasonably high, so normally they should've been fine. I looked around online a bit and somebody put out the theory that the well rested moodlet was broken and actually subtracted large amounts of mood. I found that restarting the game fixed their moods and as long as I didn't let them sleep too long their moods seemed normal.
Is it possible that the well rested moodlet is somehow broken with the newest update? Has anyone been experiencing this or found a fix?
Thanks a lot!

It may not be caused by the last update alone, depending also on which expansions and stuff packs the person has installed. It could also be from gamepatch-customcontent incompatibility, so I can't ensure anything.

I don't have any expansions, stuff packs, or custom content, if that's any help.

You could go to that website where you read it was the moodlet doing it and see what could have possibly fixed it for the guy.

It's the cheap beds - they have a bug with the moodlets, and will give your sim depression for the next few days, which builds up until you reload your game. Buy the most expensive double bed and you don't get the bug any more.
