Length of Free Vacation

About how long should adults be on a free vacation? I accepted one of those (but not before saving, just in case) and it's been a while since they left. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but is there a time that they should be back by?

I accepted just once. They come back the next day. You will get a warning the aduldt are on the way and this place is a mess.

I hope for your sake they return, because mine never returned. Guess they liked being away from the kids! Ha! Had to go back to my previously saved game.

Yeah, and I did this in my Dynasty, so I really hope they come back.

I just had this in my Legacy and they came back when the cops called them about 24 hours later.
