My sim made it to the top of the medical career, and well he's old now, but he'll live to see his son have a child (I hope) and well... this is kind of a stupid question however, but if my doctor retires will he still be able to tell the gender of his son's wife's baby(s)?
Thank you. :) I did check the guide but didn't see anything under medical career about retiring.

I believe so.  If a Sim retires, he generally keeps all benefits of his career.  If he quits, however, the benefits are lost.
