Stinky fridge after move.

I was having the fish with bait problem in one of my older save files from before pets. Now I moved my Sims out and completely started over other than I let the house be. I already had a perfect garden for his LTW and I wanted to keep it. Now the Issue is. I had also left food in the fridge and now all that is gone. I still seam to get that green mist that means there is spoiled food in the fridge even though it is completely empty.

Its best to replace the fridge. If you have the special fridge that come with the cooking career, you can get it using the eyedropper tool with buy debug.

I had the same problem, so I tried to sell the fridge in Buy mode, but I couldn't as the message 'fridge is in use by sim x' kept appearing, even though no sims were using it. In the end, I had to open testingcheats and delete it with the shift button.

The same thing happened to the career reward fridge in my very first Dynasty attempt.  While that was a long time ago, I do think I was able to delete it with the "moveobjects" cheat.

Hi AbrahamC. I wasn't sure if you were still having issues with the refrigerator glitch so I thought I would share this information with you in case you were. I have had this glitch before and I posted this "help" for the glitch. Here is what I did:
Zoom in close to your refrigerator.
Send your Sim to get food.
Once they open the door, quickly hit the pause button.
Grab the plate of food that is spoiled. (you may have to use the cheat "moveObjects on")
Set the plate down where your Sim can pick it up and dispose of it.
Press play and let your Sim finish the task you gave them and then send them to clean up the spoiled food.
End of problem!
