Kiko94: I hadn't realized that - that helps a little, but I find it tedious to have to clean them up at all and my gametime clock is so fast, it can take a whole afternoon to get the mail, pay the bills, and throw out a stack of papers! I keep forgetting that I can simply stop delivery of the darn things. But then there's a day when I actually *want* one... It would be nice if you could just buy one from a kiosk on the corner when you wanted one.
I think this may actually be tied to the pets -- After two Sim-weeks of the maid never touching the brown pile, my cat went and shredded one. Sometime in the next two days, while I wasn't looking, the maid cleaned up the papers! So, maybe they stay there until one of them is turned into trash and they call attention to themselves? I don't know!
