Will setting a lot to No Visitors Allowed ensure that only my party guests show up?

Someone on The Sims 3 Forum created a wedding lot and said to set it to Community > No Visitors Allowed to keep unwanted visitors from coming to your wedding. Will this actually work? Or will it also keep my party guests from showing up? I don't want my sim being the only one at her wedding. :P

When you throw a party at another location there should be a check mark that says for a certain amount of money you can make it exclusive.
