Smaller screens?

This may be an odd question, but I am talking to a friend on msn who has sims 3. She wants to make the "screen smaller." Like a person would with an internet browser so you can see the back of your desk top. Then do other things.

Is there a way to do that?

Put the game in windowed mode and probably change the resolution to something smaller than your actual screensize.   If your friend plays a Mac, have them hit Command + Return. For a PC, it's under options on the first tab.
