i got this item from the store and it took me awhile to realise you place it on a window because its in the gates section of build mode? :L
what does this even do? i cant seem to find a use for it other than just sitting there on your window

It's a clock that is in the wrong spot.  It's also in Miscellaneous Decor.

Here is the link at the store.   It's just one of those bugged items like the dress that makes your half of your leg disappear.

That's all, just a clock. The set itself is buggy; the bar chair is located in the counter section; but that's because Sims sometimes actually place stuff on them.

I would expected to see this item under the decoration catagory, because I am thinking that is exactly what it is, and nothing more. I'm afraid you didn't really knew what it was when you've bought it. It's probably pure decoration, for some odd reason put in the Build Mode instead of Buy.

ahh ok, well it was only like 250 points anyway, i just think it looks kinda cool, i just dont see why youd put it on a window xD, i thought maybe it makes the door because it looks like a handle :L

I've bought a few clocks. I guess it's good I didn't buy that one? All my clocks are under miscellaneous electronics. Of course, they're really just decorative, but they do work, which surprised me--they show sim time.

Never noticed with the night clocks of your sims? I like the ability of showing real sim time. Great for filming.
