Moving Question

I want to move my sims to a bigger house [and sell most of the furniture they had accumulated in the old one] but I don't want to lose the paintings and things that are in the current house. How do I do that?

Move the paintings and stuff you want to bring with you into the family inventory.

Cars can be placed into the family inventory in buy mode as well. :)
